I just recently visited the Palais Galliera ”Fashion on the move“ exhibition, they also had some great examples. Of course, 18th century stays (the 18th century was the starting point) were merely described as restrictive. Which, in doing sports, surely makes sense.

It’s a changing tent! A way to change in and out of swimwear right on the beach, I guess 😅
