How to check your wheel bearing going bad?

When performing this test, make sure no one standing in front of the vehicle or nothing is closeby, in case the spinning wheel catches the ground by accident and lunges forward. All safety precautions must be taken into consideration.
Also, you can use the 12to6 o'clock and 3to9 o'clock method to first test the wheel. With the tire off the ground, you simply put both hands on these 2 positions, with one hand pushing while the other hand pulling the tire. The tire should not have any free play. If there is free play, 90% of the time is the wheel bearing going bad. The other 10% could be a loose tie-rod, or a bad ball-joint etc.
