- Have you ever walked around Orgrimmar on your puny level 40 Shaman and have wondered how that level 40 Mage already has a mount? He's made over 100 gold simply by selling portals to desperate people. Have you ever played a warrior and came across a Mage in the open world who's 10 levels below you, but even then you know that you are but a mere spec of dust before his powerful existence? You mean nothing to them. Have you ever felt irrelevant when you see 4 mages group up to clear an instance 40 times with ease and level 50 times fast than you? Yea? well me too! ... That's why I decided to make a mage myself hahaha!
It has been an enlightening experience that has allowed me to study these creatures and understand them better. They have clearly ascended and are several dimensions above us! They're also pretty fun to play to be fair!

2:07 Okay, this one hit me on a personal level...Cept I was a mage going through Ashenvale and an orc warrior, an undead rogue, and a...I think 30 warrior?...Tried to gang up on me on the road going south to the barrens *Cause I needed to reach desolace.*
Warrior was slowed forever, sure. The rogue attempted to kill me, but frost trap + cone of cold and he was dead quickly.
Both died relatively quick, as for the last person? Put on that RP walk and approach them!...They ended up running away as I continued my journey to desolace......
Only to find an army of lv 20's *or 30's I can't remember.* at the entrance to stonetalon mountain, to where I was proceeded to corpse run for the rest of the way.

I actually had a mage give me shit for pulling a mob in their "grinding spot" and I was just responded with "well tuff shit"
little late, but just keep pulling mobs into thier AoE
eventualy they will get overrunned
If you knew or thought you could take him on you absolutely should've "There's not enough mobs for the both of us pardner"
@@MasterCookies This. I've had one or two pull that shit with me. In response, I just kept pulling more and more mobs to them until they either died or got annoyed and left.
If someone did that to me I would spend the next hour fcking with them

Illidan was a mage before becoming a Demon Hunter. And before DH became a class, Illidan was what you would call a Battle Mage: a warrior/mage hybrid.
@@EdgarRodriguez-qv2vf He even took put water from the Well of Eternity that he took before its destruction into the lake under Nordrassil on Hyjal to create a new Well of Eternity, specifically because he didn't want to give up magic.
People weren't terribly happy with him.
@@WoWhistorian Actually, it was so that his race could keep their immortality as well as their magic, which would serve them well against the Legion. Him getting to keep his magic was a nice bonus.
Then Malfurion and company came, Furion is alergic to arcane, especially after the mess with the Highborne and the Legion, calls Illidan a traitor and sent him to prison. And instead of destroying the new well, he creates Nordrassil over it to cover it, which turn it into a great font of Nature magic, a new source of immortality for the Kaldorei, and a better conduit to the heart of their world for Archimonde. And he took all the credit for this, when Illidan was the one who did all the work.
Then again, he deserves it, if only for not reading the writting in the wall over thousands of years old saying: “Get over Tyrande, dude! She isn't worth it!"
That wench has always chosen the loser Furion, despite Furion never really making a sacrifice, despite him leaving her for over 10,000 years with little to no hesitation, and when he wakes up then proceeds to go to sleep (AGAIN!) after the Frozen Throne. And he didn't even have to compensate for all his time absent from his wife by screwing into the ground, walls, ceiling and treetops and making hopelessly pregnant before going to sleep. Not even that. Over 10,000 years old and yet there are Kaldorei not even a full millenia old that are already parents, and yet Tyrande's womb is full only with cobwebs and dust from disuse.
If she had chosen Illidan, by now she'll probably have an army of children.
Oh well, there's many reasons why I prefer Arthas over Illidan. He at least it's smart enough to know when a woman is simply not worth the trouble and move on. That's one.

It was Alexstrasza who actually planted Nordrassil to contain the second Well of Eternity, and then blessed it (and the Night Elves with it) with things like immortality and a connection to the Emerald Dream.
Everything else though... eh, yeah, that's fair.

Actually, I used to play as a warrior tank so people were begging me to join them. I leveled up on protection so it was easy to pull a lot of mobs all at once.

@@zimstinka Shapeshifting cost is based off percentage of max mana. Travel form is always dirt cheap and you can spam it 10 times in a single fight if needed. Easiest way to get out of root/polymorph/slow
