Like most of your recipes, I will be making this cake t his week......as soon as I get my hands on some rhubarb. Kaleb, you need to get a Danish whisk for making your cakes. It is a life changing utensil. I promise.
The reason people use “two forks” is that the heat in your hands melt the fat and results in a less flaky crust. If you believe your crust is great now, go online and search for “blending fork.” It is a very very large fork with tines sting enough to blend the cold fat into the dry ingredients without bending. Try it, your will be surprised how much more flaky the crust is with the fat more evenly distributed .

I’m relatively new to rhubarb. I notice that on my rhubarb plant many of the stalks don’t turn red, but are green. Is this normal?
