I saw Jane many many years ago, in a small smoky bar in Ottawa. I'm not sure what brought me there with my companion, but it was clear to me, after a couple of songs, that here was an exceptional, undiscovered talent. Totally original, captivating, and so very honest. I never forgot the impressions that evening left with me. I hope Jane is doing well now, and I thank her for bringing such beautiful songs like this one into the world.
