It’s nice that more people are starting to get it, but still frustrating because I get no extra respect for being further down the rabbit hole with maybe some wisdom to impart. No matter how far down the rabbit hole you go, the people behind you will never believe you in real-time, only a decade later when they catch up, at which point, they forgot you told them a decade ago. It’s a lonely life.

Also, a large part of this is psychological. The whole trick with this THING is that people have been emotionally manipulated into having feelings on issues, their political stances have been enmeshed with their sense of identity, and that's why they're so intractable - changing their views is too damaging to their psychological well-being. Only lived experience can make these people realize/feel that their beliefs are incorrect. No amount of facts, reason, logic, or evidence will change their minds, because this is psychological/emotional. And this is all be design.

Innopharma labs asked me to take their IQ test. According to them my score was perfect and (at the time) I was the only person to finish that test in the 2 minute alloted time. It was exactly 2 minutes. I had forgotten about that test by the time I got home. What's interesting to me is how I found out about the results.

In other words, there are plenty of intelligent people at level 1. But there are zero rational people at level 1. Respect (and surround yourself with) rationality (ie high IQ/standardized test scores combined with the capacity to not be deceived), not intelligence.

Im also at a level to know that Doonebury is NOT that sophisticated as a political cartoon as those that used to be found on or IN the "Editorials" page of damn near ANY newspaper.
