HX300 Expert Series-Ep 07-Background Defocus [brainyfaceproject]

In this video, Michael provides a description of the background defocus mode, followed by a demonstration of how to use the mode. This mode is selected from the SCN mode and provides lo, mid or hi background defocus options.
Be sure to follow the recommended distance from subject when using the background defocus mode, remembering that there are 3.28 feet in a meter.

Love your video tutorials,They are a big help in getting the best out of your camera...I just bought a Sony dsc-hx400v & I`m very happy with the camera so far....some of the features such as peeking & the zoom - focus ring are a brilliant.I can see when i learn to drive this camera properly I`m going to love it................ Goto manual or aperture priority and change to a very big aperture , like 2.8 ,2.4 , the bigger the aperture the little the depth camp so the background gone be out of focus
