- Michael took a break from the channel for the first 6 months of the year, but is back and excited to produce new videos for subscribers.
In this video, Michael provides an overview of the continuous shooting mode on the HX300. This shooting mode provides you with the ability to capture multiple images quickly, at either 10 frames per second or 2 frames per second.

I sure understand about taking a break from photography for various reasons.
Back in 1989 I took a trip to Israel and purposely left my 35mm at home so I wouldn't be distracted by shooting pictures and changing film. Plus I knew I would be able to get some other people's pictures when we got back home.
By the way, your brother is really good at basketball.
great to have your videos again...thought you had given up on the HX300, so glad you haven't.... your videos are really helpful
Avash Shrestha - Hi Avash, I'm glad you find the videos to be helpful.
YOU GOTTA KEEP DOING THIS SERIES. I've watched the whole series so far, and Im amazed. It's very simple and easy to understand. Man, i have no words to describe how grateful i am for your help. Please, you have to keep doing these videos, cause I own the camera and there is so much I have to learn, and Im pretty sure you have the answer for all my questions. For example, I would like to know how to make nostalgic effects.
Hey Michael, thanks for the HX300 tutorials, really helpful and informative. You get all the info out, easy to understand. Keep up the good work. It's much appreciated.
Thank you for your videos. They have helped me a great deal. Please keep them coming for the HX300
Thank you so much, Michael! I've just bought my HX300 recently because of your videos, it would be great if you could keep going with this series :) I'm doing this only as a hobby buy I've learned so much from you and would love to learn some more. An expert series with this camera or at least a few tutorials that are more advanced would do the trick also! Wish you'll be doing some tutorials soon on how to use Exposure for let's say shooting the night sky, and what other values should the other settings *apperture, ISO, shutter* have in order for those picture to work. Anything is welcome, really! :)
I really appreciate you take some time to teach us how to squeeze to the maximum our camera.
Thank You so much for continuing this Series!
Great to see You back :) please keep in hx300 :p
your videos are really helpful and thank you
You have no idea how much you have helped me with this camera! When you demonstrate the buttons and then quickly use the menu button for a setting can you slow down just a little? Its hard to try to follow you and then find it on the camera without missing something.
Hi Michael
You promised more videos to come in this movie... I found only one more. I have a HX400V which is similar and hope to see more and more.... and more advanced.... more.
Thank you.:)
Mike
you lost some weight looking good :D thank you for this awesome series..
Thank you so much for everything! I've learned lots of things from you!
These videos are a life saver. Keep them coming! Do you have one that shows how to take waterfall photos where the water looks smokey?
It's very easy... have a camera, tripod, and maybe a nd filter..
Set your shutter speed on 2 a 4 seconds...drop to a lower aperture and set your iso on low... set the timer on 2 or 10 seconds... and shoot!
Great video!! Very helpful! Greetings from Belgium
Hey Michael, waiting since ever for new videos in this series... Please demonstrate some of the light painting and waterglass effects on this cam... Nice video... thanks!
Hello Michael, I have one of this cameras, i´m happy with it, but sometimes my pictures appear kind of rounded in the side edges of the picture, as if I had a fisheye lens. I now it´s a bit late for ask you this, but you have a very good knowledge of this device and can light me up on this issue. I have seen all your videos, they are great and showed me a lot about this camera. Thanks in advance. Gonzalo from Costa Rica.
Great to see You back Michael - and Thanks for another solid video. You mentioned the HX400 - and a lacking feature to the 300. Would You recommend the 300 over the 400 ??
Simon K. Anthony - Hi Simon, they're both good choices. The HX300 is a bit less expensive. The features I like on the HX400 (which the HX300 doesn't have) are ability to use an external mic with the hot shoe mount (Sony has a special accessory microphone, but it's not cheap) and the ability to transfer photos wirelessly from the HX400 to my phone for easy sharing.
Thanks a lot!
Please could you do an Expert series for the HX400V? I just got one and your HX300 videos were great. You'd really help me out, even if you did just one video focusing on the differences between the two cameras. Thanks
i love this series ...it helped me allot....can you do fast and slow motion playing on hx300?
Thanks for all the good work ! We bought the 300 series and have 2 questions left:
1) episode 7 is on defocusing the background, but how can you focus on the background if you have some obstacle in front of your lens: f.e. shooting an animal through a fence or in a cage?
2) Is there also an autoshoot mode (f.e. 1 picture every 30 seconds)
Thx,
Steve
Hi, your videos are very very helpful! A lot of people are having problems with the macro photography, including myself. It's really hard taking pictures of subjects close up, like small flowers, insects, etc with this camera. Could you do a tutorial? Thank you!
10x very useful lessons
Could you please make a video on how to capture motion blurr in day (rain) and night (car) both with sony hx300...thanx
muchas gracias por tu buen hacer,

Can you please add a expert series for Sony HX400V camera too. If possible.
very nice
one question, will this support external intervalometer?
At what frames per second does Sony hx300 shoots video?
U good bro keep doing vedios
Hi how to blur background without background defocus
Can't upload any of my videos to UA-cam because I record them at 60 fps not mp4 very time I try to convert it loses quality and I mean pixelized not better than or worst than my worst video camera or tablet
The introduction is too long while the explanation is too fast.
