yea I don’t know if stakeholders would opt for an accurate depiction of a shrooms trip, seems to me a lot of Hollywood decisions are more about the dollar, or otherwise some sort of political agenda
You really captured how when you stare at something, it’s almost like it becomes a different setting in a strange way. And you can snap out of it but if you go deeper into it, there is nothing quite like it.
Yep especially when you have music playing as well it's like the music transforms what you're seeing & at a certain point you forget what it even was in the first place that you were looking at
I have a lot of experience with video editing and after effects, some of the stuff I see you doing like motion tracking, retexturing, displacement mapping and some of the clever tricks with adjustment layers you must be using to cycle through hues and values like that, it's just flawless. But a good chunk of this, I don't have a single clue how you pulled it off. This is so damn impressive to me on a technical level. I'd kill to see the project file lmao
I guess most of the “flowing texture” effects were just AI editing with slowly rotating parameters like seed. AI video is crazy nowadays, that seems remotely similar to those results
@@UpcomingJedi Look for real LSD, there is no comparison. LSD is so much cleaner, no grinding, no hard come down, just bliss, then sleep, then eat. Much longer high, too. Of course, I'm giving you 35 year old info, so, lol.
@@WhoThisMonkey It was actually the camera that was tripping. The camera man just happened to be there filming when this happened. The camera's trip turned bad and he had a panic attack. The camera man called an ambulance for the camera and it was brought to the hospital where they stopped the trip. The camera later on told that he accidentally consumed the substance and has now resumed living happily with his wife and 2 little system cameras enjoying the ordinary days through the lens of a new frame.
As someone who has done a lot of mushrooms, I absolutely loved this. I always hate mushroom trips in movies, it's always some cartoon character running around talking to the person. They should hire you to add drug-trip effects into movies, this has been one of the most realistic representations I have seen. Well done!
The atmosphere was so eerie. It may have something to do with it being 5am and I'm alone in the house. Knowing the person seeing this is not mentally stable, the deep breathing, the smooth methodical movements of the camera giving some floating vibes, the close in on the terrain, and a disturbing lack of wildlife. You can hear birds but don't see any. The dogs either appear out of nowhere like the bushes or are fenced in give almost a simulated feel, and the few people that showed up made no noise, even the children playing. It's like you were phasing in and out of an overlaying dimension but no one from either dimension could see you. That's some fourth wall shit going on.

@curiouskitty7972 Maybe! I studied Video Production in high school and college before dropping. One of the classes had studies on the psychology of different genres. An example is the difference between horror and thrill movies. Horror movies often make the audience fear for themselves and their surroundings. Thriller movies often make the audience fear for the character. With the first person perspective and knowing this is based on real a real experience, this definitely gives off a horror vibe.

Very similar visuals. Everything has a wiggle, colours and textures shift, edges blend and mesh together, brightness and colour saturation fluctuate. It seems like everything is breathing, sometimes you see faces in inanimate objects, and even under artificial light, brightness changes, as if a cloud passes overhead and blocks the sun for a moment. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.
The fact you were able to capture the dark light thing makes me so happy. This really makes me feel like I’m back in one of my trips, without that feeling of falling if you will!

It doesn't get that disorienting unless you're taking an aunt to where you're not going outside like that. But other than that it was in fact spot on. It really doesn't look like this. There's maybe bit of illusory motion and trails (like a visual echo), but it's more like being aware of everything at once, having perceptual filters removed that normally allow you to remain focused and not overwhelmed by stimuli. You feel very much a part of your surroundings, immersed rather than being apart from them and simply situated in them. You can see patterns in things that you normally wouldn't notice, and things will also appear somewhat foreign and novel, like you're seeing them for the first time; it's that latter aspect that can be most striking, and isn't really possible to replicate in this way, with the closest I've seen being the AI-generated images of non-existent objects.
I've never thought about how insanely trippy it would be to run into a bunch of loose dogs while I was tripping out, that part got my mind racing knowing how intense that would be during an actual trip

love how the "scary" part was actually mundane scary and not "weird visuals" scary, I can relate to the slight panic of having 5 dogs barking at you and even approaching you, especially when high!
The scary part of a trip is not actually what you see but "how" you see it. Even an empty room can become a true inferno if the trip isn't going well. Every sense is on a boost, so even your hearing will be incredible, if your trip is in a bad phase (a trip is never "entirely" bad or good) you could be scared as hell of the sound if your breath or your heartbeat (yes, in silence you will hear that too)
Yea I got attacked by a dog tripping, it was interesting. It was my neighbor's dog that I had previously rushed to a vet after it was hit by a car. It had a serious brain injury and was never "right" again. Being charged by a demented German Shepard while tripping was... quite a trip :) I managed to get it to stop, but... This sim is good but not at all like my own high dose shroom experiences, they were much better than this, lol.
I spent so many years of my life under the spell of cigarettes, depression and severe ptsd. Gained my freedom with the help of nature using mushroom (psilocybin) precisely. After my experience with shrooms five years ago every cigarette I lit up tasted like literal poison. I would take one hit and put out the cigarette. I haven't smoked since, no more depressive mood and ptsd. Few doses of shroom experience made a 15 year 2 pack a day smoker quit instantly. Shrooms are life changing. There is no way you can put into words what it feels like..

I too love hearing about others that have made it back.I got addicted cause of a car accident in 2007 that I am still in pain from,that doctors say is only arthritis then they took my pain put me suboxone since Sept 2nd 2021. Even if I take it or not I still have that pain, so afraid I'm gonna git sucked back in to the pills cause I can't even work but can't get disability either so idk what folks like me do but prayer is all I have done and still the pain so idk anymore 😢 sorry for rambling. This I can confirm is extremely accurate. It's incredibly accurate. The only thing that you can't get from this are the thoughts that run through your mind which make the whole thing so intense
@Frank Yep. Pretty much everything is SPOT ON. And yes, it can definitely get overwhelming and disorienting at times, but it's just soooo much fun, and almost never gets our of hand.
@dave0351 no, and jobie has ABSOULTELY no idea what they're talking about, honestly almost sounds like they've never taken a psychedelic in their life. everyone's experience is different, for sure, and at a high dose there will definitely be some visuals, varying in intensity depending on dose and your surroundings. It CERTAINLY can get out of hand and make you feel regretful for taking them, and the visuals are usually not so defined on mushrooms. the breathing of the ground and everything is pretty accurate but the "peak" where he basically can't see where hes going is extremely exaggerated. now keep in mind ive never done a life altering dose or anything like that, but i have done a lot of psychedelics at once, and while ive thought i saw elves and crazy stuff at my peaks, it was never to an extent where i physically couldnt see what was in front of me. usually for the most part the "peak" of your trip is a surge in feelings, not a bunch of visuals all at once. the visuals you are seeing will definitely multiply during the peak, but for the most part, the most noticeable change is the overwhelming feeling and quick thoughts

IRL it does look similar, but this video made me dizzy too, and real trips never did. The video doesn't capture the "one with the universe feeling" either, of course. The visuals are secondary, much less important effect, imo, the actual "high" is crazy awesome. Did plenty, years ago, not interested anymore.
THANK YOUUU! Everyone in the comments always talks about their positive stories and how much they love shrooms. When I tell you I wholeheartedly HATE shrooms and weed I mean it. I’m sick of these things being praised when they have caused nothing but misery to my life. After being high on marijuana i developed depersonalization derealization disorder. It’s so exhausting having to live like this but I know I’m not alone. Countless of people have came forward testifying that being high on drugs actually caused further damage to their mental health. I highly discourage you to never say yes to any drug.

remember this is high dose, obviously if you think you wouldnt like it you probably shouldnt do it, but Ive done low doses and didnt get anywhere near this many visuals. Most I got was light patterns on and off and like the slight "breathing effect" on the ground. Otherwise the biggest thing I noticed was that I suddenly HYPER noticed any little imbalance in the floor/ground

Yeah same. My buddies and I were watching this video the other night for the first time and we had to shut it off because we were all sober but the video was so accurate we were tripping out hard. We've all done higher doses before so it was like bringing us right back to those intense trips.
Dude, I've tripped on high doses of shrooms many many times, and this is THE single most accurate video representation I've ever seen of the visuals and even auditory parts of the trip. I don't think anyone could ever get it 100% perfect, but this is damn close. Gave me trip flashbacks lol
This is good, but this is some low dose mild effects not "high dose". This is like you can still get to the shops and attempt to buy something kind of dose. Unless he's really indoors thinking he's outdoors and none of this is actually happening.

i took 3 grams yesterday as my first dose and it was crazy. i was so emotional and my brain was telling me about all the things i need to work on. i started to overthink and cried while inside but when i was outside with nature i had the best time. i’m gonna take the mushrooms advice and go be a better human being. it really opened my eyes
I literally did this the other day but 4gs and started realising all the things I need to work on like not taking time for granted and going out just to socialise with no matter who.

the way the dog bark seems to be a perfect loop... very accurate to the experience! seeing the second dog run up at 1:34, looking almost identical to the first, then looking back half a minute later at 2:02 to see there's only one dog... such a small thing would send me into a full blown panic attack!
@BandNerdcp well there's a ton more to a trip than just visuals. In fact the majority of it is in your head. You are high as fuck. And a bad trip can be really fucking bad.
@@BandNerdcp i had one once. the side effect was feeling such intense panic and paranoia that my entire brain was basically not allowed to think. If i tried to think rationally about anything the capability just was not there in the first place. Thinking back, it kind of felt like you had cut out the section of my brain that can rationalise. I basically just thought I was dying. And I didn't just think I was dying, I intensely FELT in my being, in my soul, that I was about to die and leave this world. My heart rate during was about 170 bpm, so pretty crazy. My entire body went intensely hot and cold all over, rapidly. I felt that the police were descending on my location and basically had a super severe paranoia/panic attack. My ears sort of shut off and all I could hear was my heart, and my brain letting me know I was about to die young at the age of 19 and prepare to meet God. It was crazy and soooooo stressful. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Wow this is crazy accurate!! Can't believe how well you captured it! This is also similar to San Pedro (Huachuma) especially after a long Ayahuasca dieta when it's more potent. The color changing, the "breathing" of the universe.
Especially the undulating ground and the geometric patterns. It's crazy how complex organic geometry like that doesn't exist, yet our brains still form those patterns on these substances.

I love that it captures the waves mushrooms come in too, like you’ll go from tripping absolute nutz and then all of sudden think you’re sober, followed by “dear god why” nausea and godstopping visions followed by sober? Followed by crying? Happy crying? Happy sad crying? Everything is beautiful.
I felt good and positive feelings the whole time. It lasted a good 6-7 hours but felt so good! I saw so many snakes and dragons and colors and just goodness! I loved it!
Nicotine, alcohol, thc every drug that I took at high dosage made me wanna die. How 'bout shrooms? Do you have panic attacks, puking, heavy cold sweat?
@Willysedom all psychedelics should be used in small doses to start, in a balanced environment preferably with access to the outdoors and with another experienced calm person. If you have panic attacks regularly or easily. Or have trouble managing anxiety, I wouldn't recommend high doses of psychedelics. Or psychedelics at all. Mushroom trips can become a VERY emotional but rewarding experience. honestly in 15 yrs of using psychedelics, less can be more. The thing about mushies is you can take the same dosage and it will hit you differently each time. ❤

I’ve only microdosed but I’ve done LSD and this definitely has the more realistic type of visual disturbance I get on hallucinogens. Especially like how it’s coming in waves. That’s how it generally works. You’re not just constantly tripping hard. It’s always waves.

This is actually pretty accurate. The pulsations at first, then if you let your mind go it can turn into full scale hallucinations. Dogs barking can be kind of annoying though.
My first real visual trip, I saw those flashing vignette in my peripheral vision and was like, that video didnt lie! I however never seen anything more intense than grass waving up and down, didnt see color changing dramatically either

That’s about as close as you’re gonna get without actually taking them. Animals are interesting to experience whenever you’re on a moderate dose. They SEEM to react to you differently than when you’re in a normal state. Also the hands when looking at them can grow. Amazing job overall!
@@froggysimpp My dog seemed very protective of me. Dogs are usually protective of their owners tho so i was just made ultra aware of that instead of looking at it like, him reacting to my state of mind as a unique thing. They're always reacting to their owners state of mind. It's what they evolved to do; being mans best friend. I also noticed that my cat tried to approach me to cuddle while our dog was laying next to me, which she never does with the good boy laying around cause they have a stiff relationship. Felt like she just didn't want to miss out on the love she'd get from approaching. I don't think they know that i'm in an "altered state of mind" in the drug way, but i'm sure that they feel a difference in the way i was behaving compared to normal; much more present, and that affected their behaviour as a result.

@@FreyrDK We all operate on a certain frequency, and I think animals can sense that. Dogs definitely have a 6th sense that conventional science can't explain. Maybe your dog knew you were radiating a different energy and was being extra protective because of it.
@Frank Yea, believe half of what you hear when it comes to what it's like. I've heard some pretty outrageous exaggerations and outright lies. Get ready for the mental/emotional aspect of the trip though. With mushrooms it can get very intense if you're not in a good place (literally and metaphorically).
Yeah, I don't think there is any way to truly show what a real shroom trip is like. The effect is caused by the brain and everyone's trip can be different. Shared hallucinations and if you combine drugs things get even crazier. I really miss microdot acid, not the paper shit you can get but real acid. There was a variety like a cartoon acid that was some crazy shit but if you get a bad trip you see some horrific things. One time my friend and I laughed so long that our faces hurt. I could tell some true stories of the trips I've experienced but because people who have never done a decent dose can't even imagine it and many disbelieve it. Shrooms are weaker but if you take enough you will experience shit and my experiences are nothing like this video.
This is unreal. I cannot believe the accuracy you achieved! I am not joking about this... This video was so similar to my experiences that it actually brought on a mild flashback! Not only is this incredibly surreal to watch, but for past LSD/shrooms users it can actually trigger a mild temporary high!
I felt like I was tripping the whole time I watched this. The only way it could be more realistic is if you had to keep watching for 8 hours without stopping.
It was as close to reality as possible, only it didn’t make my mouth dry, the trees weren’t laughing at me and blades of grass weren’t having a conversation 😂😂. Pretty close though.👍🏻
I used to do copious amounts of psychs as a teenager (psilocybin, DMT and acid) this is the best recreation of shrooms I’ve seen. For me the visuals of shrooms looked like waves of subtle geometries defined by warm and vibrant colors. The visuals moved like disturbances in water-like a pebble dropped in a pond. The visuals were much more naturalistic than LSD. I’ve noticed that at very high doses (7 grams+) the visuals become very similar to sub-breakthrough DMT and ayahuasca. At that point your perception of reality is so alien that it’s impossible to describe because it’s a space that the sober mind cannot comprehend.
@Kealand honestly bro I would take a break, if you keep having bad trips you might start subconsciously manifesting them. I’ve had many terrible experiences going into psychosis because of bad highs. Just a month ago I had an episode where I broke my hand punching my fireplace and ending up in the hospital because I mixed so many drugs. I did it once a long time ago, not a huge dose by any means but just a very small one so I could feel it. The way he captured the walls moving and waving was 100% spot on, that'll always be something that stuck in my mind. Plus the crazy feeling of looking at yourself in the mirror 😂 it was an outer body experience for sure.

The music. The way you listen to music is superhuman. You can hear sounds you've never heard 100 times before, every detail. I remember that on a trip we listened to the Sofa Surfers album "Encounters" more than 15 times, each time it was something new. From that day on that album is magical for me. I recommend it.
Personally, the blurring/out of focus effect was a bit much and nauseating - but the core effects you still have down extremely well. The Peak and Tracers were absolutely mind blowing and accurate... now I remember why I subscribed. I've also never seen someone try to emulate how it feels to have fear on shrooms, so very interesting. Well done!

This doesn't really happen on psychedelics in my experience, and when you are looking at a video with patterns and shifting while actively trying to look at and absorb the visual information against the environment, then this just gets in the way imo. There's no right way to do it though, Loka is certainly better at replications than I could ever do! Just offering input.

Terrifyingly accurate. 100% certainty the creator of this video has done high doses of psilocybin. In fact my buddies and I, all who have done high doses, were hanging out at my place (sober) and randomly put this video on. Half way through we all had to stop because we were heavily tripping out. For a few moments we all felt like we were actually on shrooms.

You really captured the way you find repeating patterns in any thing you look at. Especially how the scenery and walls breathe with an ebb n flow of dark and light colors. The most perfect thing was the part with the dogs, cause every time I went into public on paper blotter, I would always have something crazy happen that would make my heart start pacing. Also running across someone else in the middle of no where would start the paranoia bit, and you’d have to talk yourself out of that as well. Beautiful video

This shit is so awesome. The visuals look extremely accurate and beautiful and the audio is crazy. The sounds and especially the breathing sometimes kinda sounds like that guys on nitrous. As ive said in your previous video i think it kinda looks like shrooms with some acid mixed in and maybe even a bit of ket or some other dissociative, but it definitely has a phantastic psilocin vibe to it. That is the closest I have ever seen to visually describe a trip. The only thing it can't describe is what is going on inside your head when you're experiencing this and the feeling of a deep understanding of, and unification with, the Universe. How it has no meaning yet infinite depth of meaning at the same time. It just exists and you are part of it. Kudos to the effects team.

It made me think outside the box more but I was already that kind of person to start with. It's not a universal panacea to changing the world. How it affects you mentally is in large part dictated by the person you already are at the time.

id have to say as someone thats only done shrooms a couple times, this i deathly accurate. me and my brother celebrated the new year together and we ended up tripping at the same time. we were watching george carlin and i blinks and all of a sudden everything was melding together and when i noticed it happening i turned to my brother who was already staring at me trying not to laugh, he says "i think were there man" we proceeded to laugh the rest of the night. that was the best trip ever.

Omg this is near perfect. Everyone's experience is different. Like I saw much more patterns in everything, and when the dogs were barking I would've seen the distortion ripple around the dogs. Almost like you saw the sound. But this is easily the best all around visuals for a trip I've seen.

The white wall with patterns is the most accurate thing. My trips look like that and nothing else. Just textures having ancient symbols and patterns that stand out like if i coud touch them.

If the trip goes badly, chocolate is your best friend. Never take mushrooms or acid if you are not in a happy and relaxed state. With friends and in nature it is the best combo for me
@@ru1n784 I think even though an experience is relaxing and fun, it cant stop a person's will of wanting to be in control if they are the type who hates to lose control. I have eaten some happy candy where I hoped it never ended but then I have eaten some things where I couldn't wait for the trip to end. The mood and all was perfect yet things took a turn suddenly. Take this video for example, the person is literally trying to relax and then all of these antzy dogs kill the vibe.
@Noxti! salivia is some real shit but bad trips can strike anyone from any hallucination drug, really. Some people are more predisposed to having them. It can happen easily when you are anxious on a conscious or unconscious level. Bad trips can happen to even the most experienced users. I think hallucination drugs can be eye opening to anxious people about their own emotions. I would say anyone who has psychosis/schizophrenia are the people who should really never trip.

I have a lot of experience with video editing and after effects, some of the stuff I see you doing like motion tracking, retexturing, displacement mapping and some of the clever tricks with adjustment layers you must be using to cycle through hues and values like that, it's just flawless. But a good chunk of this, I don't have a single clue how you pulled it off. This is so damn impressive to me on a technical level. I'd kill to see the project file lmao

@@WhoThisMonkey It was actually the camera that was tripping. The camera man just happened to be there filming when this happened. The camera's trip turned bad and he had a panic attack. The camera man called an ambulance for the camera and it was brought to the hospital where they stopped the trip. The camera later on told that he accidentally consumed the substance and has now resumed living happily with his wife and 2 little system cameras enjoying the ordinary days through the lens of a new frame.

Midsommar was pretty accurate
The atmosphere was so eerie. It may have something to do with it being 5am and I'm alone in the house. Knowing the person seeing this is not mentally stable, the deep breathing, the smooth methodical movements of the camera giving some floating vibes, the close in on the terrain, and a disturbing lack of wildlife. You can hear birds but don't see any. The dogs either appear out of nowhere like the bushes or are fenced in give almost a simulated feel, and the few people that showed up made no noise, even the children playing. It's like you were phasing in and out of an overlaying dimension but no one from either dimension could see you. That's some fourth wall shit going on.

@curiouskitty7972 Maybe! I studied Video Production in high school and college before dropping. One of the classes had studies on the psychology of different genres. An example is the difference between horror and thrill movies. Horror movies often make the audience fear for themselves and their surroundings. Thriller movies often make the audience fear for the character. With the first person perspective and knowing this is based on real a real experience, this definitely gives off a horror vibe.

Very similar visuals. Everything has a wiggle, colours and textures shift, edges blend and mesh together, brightness and colour saturation fluctuate. It seems like everything is breathing, sometimes you see faces in inanimate objects, and even under artificial light, brightness changes, as if a cloud passes overhead and blocks the sun for a moment. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.
And 5/5 dentists agree that laughing gas is pretty neat, too.

It really doesn't look like this. There's maybe bit of illusory motion and trails (like a visual echo), but it's more like being aware of everything at once, having perceptual filters removed that normally allow you to remain focused and not overwhelmed by stimuli. You feel very much a part of your surroundings, immersed rather than being apart from them and simply situated in them. You can see patterns in things that you normally wouldn't notice, and things will also appear somewhat foreign and novel, like you're seeing them for the first time; it's that latter aspect that can be most striking, and isn't really possible to replicate in this way, with the closest I've seen being the AI-generated images of non-existent objects.

The scary part of a trip is not actually what you see but "how" you see it. Even an empty room can become a true inferno if the trip isn't going well. Every sense is on a boost, so even your hearing will be incredible, if your trip is in a bad phase (a trip is never "entirely" bad or good) you could be scared as hell of the sound if your breath or your heartbeat (yes, in silence you will hear that too)

Yea I got attacked by a dog tripping, it was interesting. It was my neighbor's dog that I had previously rushed to a vet after it was hit by a car. It had a serious brain injury and was never "right" again. Being charged by a demented German Shepard while tripping was... quite a trip :) I managed to get it to stop, but...
This sim is good but not at all like my own high dose shroom experiences, they were much better than this, lol.
I spent so many years of my life under the spell of cigarettes, depression and severe ptsd. Gained my freedom with the help of nature using mushroom (psilocybin) precisely. After my experience with shrooms five years ago every cigarette I lit up tasted like literal poison. I would take one hit and put out the cigarette. I haven't smoked since, no more depressive mood and ptsd. Few doses of shroom experience made a 15 year 2 pack a day smoker quit instantly. Shrooms are life changing. There is no way you can put into words what it feels like..

I too love hearing about others that have made it back.I got addicted cause of a car accident in 2007 that I am still in pain from,that doctors say is only arthritis then they took my pain put me suboxone since Sept 2nd 2021. Even if I take it or not I still have that pain, so afraid I'm gonna git sucked back in to the pills cause I can't even work but can't get disability either so idk what folks like me do but prayer is all I have done and still the pain so idk anymore 😢 sorry for rambling. @dave0351 no, and jobie has ABSOULTELY no idea what they're talking about, honestly almost sounds like they've never taken a psychedelic in their life. everyone's experience is different, for sure, and at a high dose there will definitely be some visuals, varying in intensity depending on dose and your surroundings. It CERTAINLY can get out of hand and make you feel regretful for taking them, and the visuals are usually not so defined on mushrooms. the breathing of the ground and everything is pretty accurate but the "peak" where he basically can't see where hes going is extremely exaggerated. now keep in mind ive never done a life altering dose or anything like that, but i have done a lot of psychedelics at once, and while ive thought i saw elves and crazy stuff at my peaks, it was never to an extent where i physically couldnt see what was in front of me. usually for the most part the "peak" of your trip is a surge in feelings, not a bunch of visuals all at once. the visuals you are seeing will definitely multiply during the peak, but for the most part, the most noticeable change is the overwhelming feeling and quick thoughts

IRL it does look similar, but this video made me dizzy too, and real trips never did. The video doesn't capture the "one with the universe feeling" either, of course. THANK YOUUU! Everyone in the comments always talks about their positive stories and how much they love shrooms. When I tell you I wholeheartedly HATE shrooms and weed I mean it. I’m sick of these things being praised when they have caused nothing but misery to my life. After being high on marijuana i developed depersonalization derealization disorder. It’s so exhausting having to live like this but I know I’m not alone. Countless of people have came forward testifying that being high on drugs actually caused further damage to their mental health. I highly discourage you to never say yes to any drug.

remember this is high dose, obviously if you think you wouldnt like it you probably shouldnt do it, but Ive done low doses and didnt get anywhere near this many visuals. Most I got was light patterns on and off and like the slight "breathing effect" on the ground. Otherwise the biggest thing I noticed was that I suddenly HYPER noticed any little imbalance in the floor/ground

i took 3 grams yesterday as my first dose and it was crazy. i was so emotional and my brain was telling me about all the things i need to work on. i started to overthink and cried while inside but when i was outside with nature i had the best time. i’m gonna take the mushrooms advice and go be a better human being. it really opened my eyes

@@BandNerdcp i had one once. the side effect was feeling such intense panic and paranoia that my entire brain was basically not allowed to think. If i tried to think rationally about anything the capability just was not there in the first place. Thinking back, it kind of felt like you had cut out the section of my brain that can rationalise. I basically just thought I was dying. And I didn't just think I was dying, I intensely FELT in my being, in my soul, that I was about to die and leave this world. My heart rate during was about 170 bpm, so pretty crazy. My entire body went intensely hot and cold all over, rapidly. I felt that the police were descending on my location and basically had a super severe paranoia/panic attack. My ears sort of shut off and all I could hear was my heart, and my brain letting me know I was about to die young at the age of 19 and prepare to meet God. It was crazy and soooooo stressful. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
The peak freaked me out way too much. Stunning work, glad it showed up in my recommended.

@Willysedom all psychedelics should be used in small doses to start, in a balanced environment preferably with access to the outdoors and with another experienced calm person. If you have panic attacks regularly or easily. Or have trouble managing anxiety, I wouldn't recommend high doses of psychedelics. Or psychedelics at all. Mushroom trips can become a VERY emotional but rewarding experience. honestly in 15 yrs of using psychedelics, less can be more. The thing about mushies is you can take the same dosage and it will hit you differently each time. ❤

I’ve only microdosed but I’ve done LSD and this definitely has the more realistic type of visual disturbance I get on hallucinogens. Especially like how it’s coming in waves. That’s how it generally works. You’re not just constantly tripping hard. It’s always waves.

Dogs are usually protective of their owners tho so i was just made ultra aware of that instead of looking at it like, him reacting to my state of mind as a unique thing. They're always reacting to their owners state of mind. It's what they evolved to do; being mans best friend.
I also noticed that my cat tried to approach me to cuddle while our dog was laying next to me, which she never does with the good boy laying around cause they have a stiff relationship. Felt like she just didn't want to miss out on the love she'd get from approaching. I don't think they know that i'm in an "altered state of mind" in the drug way, but i'm sure that they feel a difference in the way i was behaving compared to normal; much more present, and that affected their behaviour as a result.

@Frank Yea, believe half of what you hear when it comes to what it's like. I've heard some pretty outrageous exaggerations and outright lies. Get ready for the mental/emotional aspect of the trip though. With mushrooms it can get very intense if you're not in a good place (literally and metaphorically).
Yeah, I don't think there is any way to truly show what a real shroom trip is like. The effect is caused by the brain and everyone's trip can be different. Shared hallucinations and if you combine drugs things get even crazier. I really miss microdot acid, not the paper shit you can get but real acid. There was a variety like a cartoon acid that was some crazy shit but if you get a bad trip you see some horrific things. One time my friend and I laughed so long that our faces hurt. I could tell some true stories of the trips I've experienced but because people who have never done a decent dose can't even imagine it and many disbelieve it. Shrooms are weaker but if you take enough you will experience shit and my experiences are nothing like this video.

I used to do copious amounts of psychs as a teenager (psilocybin, DMT and acid) this is the best recreation of shrooms I’ve seen. For me the visuals of shrooms looked like waves of subtle geometries defined by warm and vibrant colors. The visuals moved like disturbances in water-like a pebble dropped in a pond. The visuals were much more naturalistic than LSD.
I’ve noticed that at very high doses (7 grams+) the visuals become very similar to sub-breakthrough DMT and ayahuasca. At that point your perception of reality is so alien that it’s impossible to describe because it’s a space that the sober mind cannot comprehend.
You ever got to a point of extreme hallucinations and loss of reality/psychosis? Put me off them for sure, was scary stuff.
@Kealand honestly bro I would take a break, if you keep having bad trips you might start subconsciously manifesting them. I’ve had many terrible experiences going into psychosis because of bad highs. Just a month ago I had an episode where I broke my hand punching my fireplace and ending up in the hospital because I mixed so many drugs. Not saying this will happen to you, but I strongly recommend to take lower doses and not mix stuff. Best of luck.

The way he captured the walls moving and waving was 100% spot on, that'll always be something that stuck in my mind. The music. The way you listen to music is superhuman. You can hear sounds you've never heard 100 times before, every detail.
I remember that on a trip we listened to the Sofa Surfers album "Encounters" more than 15 times, each time it was something new. From that day on that album is magical for me. I recommend it.

Personally, the blurring/out of focus effect was a bit much and nauseating - but the core effects you still have down extremely well. The Peak and Tracers were absolutely mind blowing and accurate... now I remember why I subscribed. I've also never seen someone try to emulate how it feels to have fear on shrooms, so very interesting. Well done!

@@Jason-yx3cm Not what I meant. I mean how when the camera pans down and up in the first few seconds of the video how everything gets a uniform blurriness each time which doesn't make much sense. This doesn't really happen on psychedelics in my experience, and when you are looking at a video with patterns and shifting while actively trying to look at and absorb the visual information against the environment, then this just gets in the way imo. There's no right way to do it though, Loka is certainly better at replications than I could ever do! Just offering input.

Nice to see, but my trips have much more ‘personalized’ life in them. Not just waving backgrounds. I see individuals arise from the negative spaces in the foliage. They move and have intent- so it seems
This is by far the most accurate one of these I’ve ever seen. How from a distance everything looks like it’s breathing, and then when you focus in on something it becomes incredibly intricate with patters and details. Amazing

You really captured the way you find repeating patterns in any thing you look at. Especially how the scenery and walls breathe with an ebb n flow of dark and light colors. The most perfect thing was the part with the dogs, cause every time I went into public on paper blotter, I would always have something crazy happen that would make my heart start pacing. Also running across someone else in the middle of no where would start the paranoia bit, and you’d have to talk yourself out of that as well. Beautiful video

This shit is so awesome. The visuals look extremely accurate and beautiful and the audio is crazy. The sounds and especially the breathing sometimes kinda sounds like that guys on nitrous. As ive said in your previous video i think it kinda looks like shrooms with some acid mixed in and maybe even a bit of ket or some other dissociative, but it definitely has a phantastic psilocin vibe to it. And that peak looked like complete breakthrough. Anyway one of the best simulations out there

Your body and mind are fragile, and these substances can certainly cause large disruptions in your daily life, for better or worse.
Be mindful of set and setting, and always test your acid. NBome’s and other substances that can do REAL damage to your body, are regularly sold as acid.
That is the closest I have ever seen to visually describe a trip. The only thing it can't describe is what is going on inside your head when you're experiencing this and the feeling of a deep understanding of, and unification with, the Universe. How it has no meaning yet infinite depth of meaning at the same time. It just exists and you are part of it. Kudos to the effects team.

It made me think outside the box more but I was already that kind of person to start with. It's not a universal panacea to changing the world. How it affects you mentally is in large part dictated by the person you already are at the time.

when you stared at the wall during the end of Moderate visuals, that perfectly captured the patterns and interchanging symetrical shapes i see everywhere when i trip, great job overall, very realistic
id have to say as someone thats only done shrooms a couple times, this i deathly accurate.
me and my brother celebrated the new year together and we ended up tripping at the same time.
we were watching george carlin and i blinks and all of a sudden everything was melding together and when i noticed it happening i turned to my brother who was already staring at me trying not to laugh, he says "i think were there man"
we proceeded to laugh the rest of the night. that was the best trip ever.

The trips I've been having have really helped me a lot,I finally feel in control of my emotions and my future and things that used to be mundane to me now seem incredible and full of nuance on top of that I'm way less driven by my ego and I have alot more empathy as well

The white wall with patterns is the most accurate thing. My trips look like that and nothing else. Just textures having ancient symbols and patterns that stand out like if i coud touch them.

@@ru1n784 I think even though an experience is relaxing and fun, it cant stop a person's will of wanting to be in control if they are the type who hates to lose control. I have eaten some happy candy where I hoped it never ended but then I have eaten some things where I couldn't wait for the trip to end. The mood and all was perfect yet things took a turn suddenly. Take this video for example, the person is literally trying to relax and then all of these antzy dogs kill the vibe.
@Noxti! salivia is some real shit but bad trips can strike anyone from any hallucination drug, really. Some people are more predisposed to having them. It can happen easily when you are anxious on a conscious or unconscious level. Bad trips can happen to even the most experienced users. I think hallucination drugs can be eye opening to anxious people about their own emotions. I would say anyone who has psychosis/schizophrenia are the people who should really never trip.
