Did you ever get to try out the Flashe paint (sorry, I only recently started following)? I don't think it has any acrylic, so I wonder if you would be able to tolerated it as a substitute?
No i didn’t, I watched several reviews and reached out asking about smell, and a few artists have said that the paint does have an oder… which makes me a little hesitant to try. Though it is still on my list of supplies to try.
As a painter who uses Acryla Gouache exclusively, this is so interesting and helpful! thank you! I've been wanting to play with adding in other mediums, so this gave me some ideas. I would love to see a video testing Acryla Gouache with various acrylic and watercolor paint mediums, something I have always wondered about!
So glad you found this video to be helpful ☺️ and Ill see what I can do about putting together another video like it for other materials, thank you for the suggestion
Faber Castell, polychrome owes pencils are a different pencil than the others that you have tried. I can’t remember whether they are wax based or oil based but that is where your find the difference in how they perform on their own and on different surfaces.

Yes, I do believe that the Faber Castell are oil based yet I find them to be a harder lead.
Just to confirm - FC Polychromos are OIL based.
Matte acrylics are NOT acryla gouache!
