So many people are so secretive about crochet pattern design. I have wanted to design bigger projects I’ve designed two dishcloths and I’m working on writing them up but I’m not sure the best process for bigger items so thank you for sharing. I’m learning a lot!
I love watching this process, very cool and interesting. Hope you didn't spend too long crocheting before realising the issue with the hook size, I've worked with thick yarn and back/front loop ribbing before and had the same issue, it just creates such a thick sturdy fabric in comparison to standard stitches.
Awesome job with sharing your design process!👏 Soooo frustrating to have to keep frogging, but awesome when it all comes together!👍 I find the chunkier the yarn, the more exhausting it is for me to crochet with it, so a finer yarn helps!🧶 Can't wait to see it in a 10 ply yarn.🥰 Blessings from Adelaide💕🐨
Thanks so much Kerryn! I also find the chunky yarn a bit exhausting to work with 😅 which is why I’d love to offer the 10 ply version aswell! 🙌🏼 stay tuned 😁🌻
@@Katieree well i have created 3 patterns that were very simple but i have problems with knowing what technique or what stiches work best for the patterns. do you know of a way to learn that or have any recommendations on where i could look?
Finally, something with actual information. I'm in the process of designing a top for my daughter. However, the width keeps getting longer. Started off at 30 inches and after 6 rows it has reached 34 inches. Why does this happen? Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? My counts haven't changed.
Your not designing a crochet pattern your designing a sweater. You should take a look at crochet crowd that is designing a pattern not one stitch that is a common stitch that you can't copyright smh
Never had I been cognizant of the time difference of front and back post designs take each. Smart!

It could be because the tension changed
