K.C is honestly one if not the best at Internet Money imo. When it comes to explaining and teaching or even the melodies and beats he comes up with are just 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I dont even make beats I dont know how I got here I'm eating lunch and watching this at the same time . And this shit dope make me want to make beats!!
@@kingbingbong1920 well I meant like for any level obviously the professionals use pro tools for vocals and stuff and fl for beats. Every daw has different benefits, like no-one uses FL for live performances they use ableton or reason or something. So I disagree saying its the best DAW for ANY level.
My man, I can't thank you enough for the 123 1234 vice-versa technique! I've been watching tutorials on it that are 30 min long and you just dropped in in a video full of more useful stuff!
With the ghost notes I used to stretch them all the way out but it's hard to see the notes you're playing with other instruments sometimes. Now I just make then small like 1/4 step and then put them every beat
You're the fucking MAN!!!!! This helped me out sooo much dude. I've been a drummer for 18 yrs (32) and I've been dying to find an easier way to write shit in Piano Roll. The Scale Highlighting/Automatic setting is exactly what I've been dying for..THANKS!!
Also once you found a scale or progression u like in scaler you can put scale lock and play melodies over the chords so you def wouldn't be out of key! Not sure if u seen that but im sure you know by now. Oh well for those who don't know. Also there is chord prism.
the problem i find with the scale detection mode is that it seems to always be shift modes every time i use borrowed chords or notes. otherwise it is a pretty rocking feature. thanks for the post
there is a way to change the colors from the piano roll options to any colors you want for you backgrounds and you can invert the color of the grid too.
I wish I wasn't biased as to which videos I watched, the helper thing would have been nice to know about earlier on; doing research can be hard when videos are over 5 minutes and you just want the answers to your problems so you can make music your dying to unleash. Great advice! Thank you
When Scale Highlight is set to Automatic. Is there a way to easily know what the name of the scale it detects is? or a way to apply the same scale to all piano rolls?
I have a question for all producers in the comments...When I’m making beats I come up with melodies quick but then it takes me forever to find the best drums like i spend time looking for the best snares or percs do you think I’m over thinking it? Because I wanna start making beats a lot faster than 30-40 mins or a hour
You don't need to draw out the chords yourself. You can simply hit the triangle drop down menu > scale highlighting > then right click the key and type of scale and it automatically does it for the whole piano roll.
What about some pitcher and Newtown tutorials for vocals. I know you guys are producers but vocals and producing basically go hand and hand. Unless y'all already did that.
i’ve been makin beats for 7 years and still find new things. crazy
how did you get better
I’ve been improving so much now. Just watch tutorials. They help a lot!!
Forever a student
@@Xaynor- just keep making and you'll find yourself improving
