Messy, High Ponytail with a Hair Topper

- I’ve tried this style several times but I think I finally cracked the code 👌 Here are a couple of key points to make it work, keep it comfortable, with minimal chance for damage 👊🏼
💥A lace front topper is a must. Glueing the lace down takes pressure off the most sensitive parts of your scalp where the added weight is. I’ve tried this with other toppers and it was so uncomfortable and could have caused a lot of damage. The Claire halo topper from @uniwigs.humanhair is PERFECT for this look and it’s super affordable for human hair 🙌 I also love the halo string for extra support.

I love it! Do the 2 claw clips give extra “hold” so the topper clips don’t dig in?
I noticed that on the website, the photos from other customers that the bangs on this topper look a lot thicker than yours. My question is now thick are the bangs out of the box?
I have my stylist cut bangs into my toppers. I don’t like my bangs to be thick. ☺️

It does have 4 clips total (2 on sides and 2 on back) but the lace front holds most of the pressure so it’s still comfortable! The spray concealer I have is from toppik 🙌🏼 I got mine from ulta but I’ve seen it on Amazon too

What shade did you order in this video? In some picks it looks lighter or darker in the video. Great look! Great tips! Also can you explain how the halo wire works? Do you worry it could snap off?
Hi Lorie! This topper came in a medium brown but my stylist customized the color by adding a darker root and just a few highlights. The halo wire is super helpful to hold the front lace flat to your head and is just an extra layer of security. Mine did break but after a year of wear and tear. So I sewed a new one on 😉

Lacie, do your hair fall a lot now? I am new to this world. Almost 2 years my hair is thining and thing, so lots of hairs in the shower. Cannot predict what i will need a topper or a wig, my sider and front is so bad.aftaid that topper will not hold
My hair loss has been pretty much the same for the last 2 years or so. If you’re worried it will continue a wig might be your best choice 👍🏼 there are some absolutely beautiful ones 🤩
Hello! I just got a hair topper, it's 16" but I should have gotten an 18" hair topper. My long bio hair sticks out of the bottom and doesn't look natural. Is there anyway I can thin the bottom of the hair topper or cut layers into it to make it blend with my hair?
Absolutely! I've done that on my Clio 12L topper from Dimples Hair--I did a review on it and you can see the layers as it's shorter than my bio hair. Layers is key 👍🏼

How does this keep from clips hurting as things move during day?
Depending on the topper, it can have up to 6-8 clips. 🙂 this allows it to be secure. Also, since the topper sits on top of the head, gravity is at your favor. ☺️
@@lacie.rodriguez Dimples has 6…Clio 12 L. It always seems to pull at the front when I try a ponytail..
A helpful tip would be to add a little hair spray or dry shampoo prior to clipping on the topper. This will allow it to stabilize better and grip more. 🙂

So exciting! This is such a fun updo and I do it A LOT! 😅 this kind of glue comes off with just water. Tape actually works really well too and seems to stick a little better I think!

Sometimes I really do wish I were a man. It’s so much work being a woman. I’ve been womaning for 40 years now. Im exhausted and I don’t even fuss about my appearance much. I’m trying to be better about haircare and I’ve reading up and watching all these things relating to thin hair. I’m tired just doing that.
I can absolutely relate to this feeling. But I decided one day that I’m not going to fuss anymore if I don’t enjoy it. I won’t allow society to put that kind of pressure on me. I only get ready on days I feel like it. I only wear hair when I feel like it. Letting go of the “obligation” to do “womanly” things completely changed my energy around it. Hoping you can find that energy too ❤️❤️❤️🤗

I just know the whole world is looking at me every single second and thinking I look awful. Now in reality no one is looking at me and no one cares about me.
