It doesn't work when you have silky, healthy hair.
It didn't work for me either but I do not think that it's appropriate to claim your hair is to superior with its silliness and healthy sheen that you can't use the method. Maybe you're twisting too much or not enough or maybe you're hair isn't long enough. :).
I wasn´t talking about my hair though. I just know it does´t work.
Who knew that a lint roller would cost a dollar at the dollar store...
Alan Bolger I know places that call themselves dollar stores but they sell things for up to $20.

Alan Bolger That doesn't mean that she doesn't need to specify that it is worth a dollar since, as previously established, just because it's at the dollar store doesn't make it a dollar.

Some things in dollar stores cost less than a dollar..for example 50cents or 75 cents...😉

Also for girls who are trying the hair trick, that really only works on damaged hair. I never got it to work until I started bleaching my hair blond like Evelina. Now it stays really well.

bigbangukissfan It takes a very certain type of hair and lots of practice. I've been doing it since middle school, and only about a third of the friends I try to teach it to have hair that works for it or the skill to do it.

This bun isnt working for me. It always falls down after a few seconds :(
Yenaani The trick is to twist it too much. Twist and wrap it so much that parts of the bun are supporting each other.
if your hair is really silky this won't work. If you really want to try this, try putting some product in to give the hair some grip (dry shampoo or mousse)

I am in a new mode in my life (I'm 16, going into Junior year) and I really want to brush up my style and look put-together. The bun trick never worked in my hair, it breaks off in seconds. The same with bobby pins, they just don't grab my hair :(
BUT, I learned to DIY some elastic bands very easy. Just take a nylon sock and cut the elastic, it works amazing :3

Omg that bun is amazing I literally just did it with my hair, on my first attempt it went perfectly and now I have a headache from seeing how much shaking it takes to come out... and it's still in there! great vid!!!
I do something similar with my hair. It's curly so i can't really do what you do. Instead, i braid 3/4 of my hair and ties the ends into a single knot and it stays all day without budging. Works like a charm!

thank you for this :) for my the gel bra doesn't work, I have tried it many times, but the thing is - because it is not natural, but synthetic, I tend to sweat in those cups and they instantly come off. I even had one very ambarrasing moment when this bra fell off and almoust fell through my dress on the ground, I literally catched it at the last moment :D since then I threw it out.
