Everyone seems to be driving on the wrong side of the road mate.😝
Good video Andy 👍 too many townies on the country rds nowadays an they have no idea o what they could encounter round the next bend 🙄😕
Why didn't you fold in the ladder?
Great video Andy. Nothing beats the smell of harvest!! Can’t wait for more! 👍🏼 all the best.
Andy can’t believe you’ve forgot from last year ... it’s like riding a bike first few yards are a bit wobbly but it get easier the more you do.. Hope you don’t have too many late nights this year 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great filming, very interesting, thank you for sharing. Love your four-legged co-driver!
You got the dog having the time of his life in the cab
Great vid Andy nice to see the combine out looking forward to the next vid 🚜👍👍
Nice one Andy. Looking good. We our on Winter Barley and some rape! Have not been going today due to
the rain! We have had rain Friday to today. Hopefully should be nice again now!! You will be busy now!
Nice Video mate, i like the over shoulder camera shot. Good Luck for harvest mate!
Tom Pemberton Farm Life
Thanks Tom! Iv just been watching your vid with Mercedes, looks like you had a great time! Hopefully see you around some time 👍
It's a farming life for me! Thanks mate 🙌... yeah hopefully we can meet up some time, Lamma is always a good place. Oh yeah aswel.... my hero 7 freezes all the time! Very annoying
That has got to be the very best harvesting video I have ever had the pleasure of watching - Totally fascinating, many thanks!
Trevor Jarvis
Thank you very much! 👍
That’s great feedback Trevor , I have to agree I got great enjoyment from the ride in the cab with Andy . He’s a top pilot 👍🏻
If i had to deal with those tight roads and all that mess I'd be in jail by now it takes alot more patience to move farm equipment over there across the pond than I could ever muster 😂😂 kudos to you bud awesome vid!
I haven´t been into agriculture for almost 30 years but I still remember the itchy barley...:-) Have a good and safe harvest and thanks for your awesome vids!
you probably dont give a damn but does any of you know of a way to log back into an instagram account..?
I stupidly lost the password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Kendrick Jadiel Instablaster =)
@Gael Angelo thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im trying it out now.
I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Gael Angelo it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much, you really help me out :D
@Kendrick Jadiel You are welcome =)
That combine can't half shift up a hill! Nice job, I still can't believe the lads up here were combining last week's as well! Hope the rest of harvest goes well and no one else decides to do some stupid overtaking 😒
Absolutely fascinating, really interesting and informative video. Thanks for producing, well done.
👍👌❤🇨🇦, ya you couldn't go down a road like that here without a pilot vehicle front and back,
Hi Andy. I love your videos. I love your in cab camera. Look forward to your next videos.
Yjeff shiels
The gear looking tidy as Andy nice👍🚜
Awesome video man. I love to hear you talk. Where are you from. I came across your channel and love farming so I subscribed.
One time we were harvesting a field of winter barley that was badly laid and had been dampened by little bits of rain over the day. Every other run the header divider would pull up chunks of plant like in this video and needless to say it gets frustrating in a 20 acre field. That was with the old divider design (without the rubber bit to bridge to the main header component) so it's disappointing to see the rubber bit still doesn't solve the problem. Great video anyway.
I feel like im playing Farm simulator.. Excellent vid.😂
Nice to see not everybody started a week ago, should let the 780 tt out tomorrow evening hope yields are good with you cos straw aint gonna be worth much
Love your content Andy always look forward to the next ! All the best !!
Hey Andy just wanna say thankyou i really enjoy your videos! i was thinking is there a possibility to mount the cam on the back of the landrover so that we can see you take the narrow streets etc.
Jaarsnaar
Yes thanks! Great idea 👍
Well done Andy. Great video of you harvesting. Great to see how it is done 👍
thank you for another great video cant wait to see next weeks already im itching just as much as you walking in the barley
awesome vid mate have been waiting for this , cant beat harvest best time of year miss it so much but is a hard job to get back into round these ways
I had a hero 4 that freezes every now and again, I had to do a software update and it sorted it. May work for you too. Good video, keep it up. Also, love your defender, hoping to get one in the near future
denni mcfc
Cheers I’ll try that 👍
Great video, that combine, looks an absolute beast,
Great Video Andy love the Explanation of the Combine Set Up
Great video Andy 👍 can’t wait for the next one!
In the words of Murray Walker 'it's GO GO GO!! that did look a good amount of straw is it for you's or another farmer? was any damage done to your neighbours Tractor? I take it not seeing Wednesday's clip you got them Storms Tuesday night early Wednesday Morning, I know we did! I've never seen lightning as bad as we had that night it was a cracking display and well worth the sleepless night. We've had hot day's but wet stormy nights so nobody has had a real chance to get going and it's tipped it down all weekend since and the forecast isn't great but when it does finally dry up the combines will be rolling out around here, I did actually see a Lexion 570 at work on Friday but that looked like they were just moving it home.
Anyways have a good safe week m8.
i have been thinking about getting one of these john deer cars for the weekly shop what is the boot capacity on one of these bad boys
Great video andy, really informative, looks like Erics enjoying the ride, does your neighbour always tow your header for you? Looks a good amount of straw there, can't the trailer boys keep up!!
Hi Layton!
Cheers they can normally keep up but one had to go to weigh bridge so that held everything up for a bit.
Yeah he moves the header for me 👍
I like your video Andy
Another great video Andy 👍
We've just started ourselves a few days ago here in Cambridgeshire...until it rained us off that is 🙄 nice combine, we were looking into getting one of those when our old CTS broke down now we run a 2013 S680i with a 630 Premium flow head.
I would hate to be in that house worrying if my car is about to get hit by a combine.
Good lord man it’s giving me anxiety just watching your video. In the United States we have wide roads for the most part and it’s a pain sometimes I can’t imagine navigating there. Hopefully the people in your community are nicer to farmers than they are here. I had to move my hay tractor the other day with my round baler and I got flipped off by several people even though I pulled off every chance I got to let people by.
Strangefruit most people are kind here but some people aren’t very nice to farmers
That's awesome we dieing to get going but we have wet then dry and then rain again.
so why didnt you back up to the gate and start, to clear some ground for your self, surly that wasted some crop. Nice driving, b,t,w,.
peter humphries
Cheers I scooped up all the flat crop once I had been around the field and got back to the gate 👍
@@Itsafarminglifeforme Without your lifters fitted...... I doubt it, and running all the way up the field with your header engaged not cutting, unnecessary wear on your knife especially.
Good video andy
Hi Sir What do you do to cropes Vestige?
I bet that does your head in driving down the road in the combine that's when you meet every numb nut on the road lol
Is this cold borough park farm?
should put some flashing lights on ur landrover make it better when moving ur combrine and other things
Jim Rodwell
Yeah it does have flashing LED’s in windscreen and a wide load sign on bumper 👍
Great Video you should invest in a Ryobi battery blower Great be a kit 👌🏻🤘
Great video Andy 👍🏻
So what crop would you put the side cutter on for..
want a worker? My CV consists of office work for the past 8 years and an actual chef 4 years before that. I have no issues with animals. I have an automatic licence. I like to think I have a level head about myself. I've dealt with horses plenty and was named a hero for saving a farm from a huge fire single handedly.
Love the Defender! Keep up the great videos!
Hi Andy.
Very nice video again that I watch from France.
Do you plan to include soybeans as crop for the future?
Best regards.
Stephane Groen
Thanks! Yes I do think soybeans will be an option in the future 👍
Great Video Greets from Germany Marko
How was the crop
Yet again amazing video fella
In Canada we have the s series John Deere combines. Is that t series a rotory style machine?
John Deere hasn’t had a walker combine in Canada for the last 15 years
Yes straw walker machine, we like it because it puts out good quality straw that we use for cattle bedding 👍
Really enjoy your channel! How many acres in total have you to combine?
Niall Fearon
Thanks! 1250acres
I love farming... What is the price of one acre in your area
Hi
Great video , can you tell me where you are in the uk . I am watching your show from the Czech republic . Are you in suffolk as I saw a Turners lorry on the road .
Simon Seaborn

Shouls have done the landy yellow as well, to match the combine,, never seen a john deere landy before,.would be unique..
I love to be in the field driving a combine has the John dear got auto drive so it work by satlight GPS

Great start got to love that barley dust gets everywhere ☹️👍
Why didn't you fold in the ladder?
Good evening,
What about your protein rate? Will this Barley be used for brewery or to feed animals?
Cheers.
Stephane Groen
Hi this is feed barley 👍
Great video lad....
Nice one mate , keep it up!
is the fuel pump working off the cigarette lighter socket on the defender
Darren Hold
Nope crocodile clips on battery terminals 👍
Why not remove the three trees from the field in the intro? Is there a benefit to the field having them there?
Redeemed Farmer
I would love to get rid but if we cut them all down we won’t get our rural payments from government it’s same with hedges we’re not allowed to remove any hedges.
My combine john deere 1068h is hilmaster
What county are the farms in Andy?
rogerdorrington
Hampshire 👍
Cool
Super video
Nice vid and a quick question, how many hectares can you harvest within one hour on average?
pepsiemaxie
Thanks! Probably around 3
So when are we going to see the curly wurly ? lol
Got yourself a new sub
Do you own farm animals as some farms don’t
Jacks train videos Epic
Yes we have beef cows and sheep 👍
Not that we do any barley, but finished off our rape today, now waiting for the wheat to catch-up maybe week or so yet. Rape did well as it happened. Some people down here mentioning their barley okay but not brilliant... early days yet though...
Holy crap those roads are narrow
We started on Friday got 4 and a half acres cut then got rained off
Where is this?
Joel Henderson
Hampshire 👍
Does European people not no what ride roads are I mean I would hate to farm in Europe
Where abouts is this
Luke The Drifter
Hampshire 👍
@@Itsafarminglifeforme oh cool were farmers from Northamptonshire. Mainly hay and straw merchants
♥️👌👌👌👌👌
Dont use your phone whilst driving,, not nice to loose your licence, and get a heavy fine,,might affect your harvesting next year,....And we dont want that....
