Those backing plates are made from unobtainium. I purchased a pair of new from Hawks for $300, or $220 rusty used. The calipers and rotors are cheap. I think I'll use them as a pattern before installing them. Love your plan! Glad I saw this before my 02 Camaro 9" housing arrives and gets installed.
I am in the middle of doing the LS1 Brakes on my 9 Inch Ford Rear in my Challenger. Your video was well made and helpful

Nice 👍🏾 job bro 😎
The Cheepo flair tool has a tough time with offshore brake line being a bit too small to stay put in the clamp. Your new is the way to go.
For sure, I really like that new one.
Nice job Eric, didn't even crash the tungsten once
I probably did and just edited it out.
Ha ha, I know I would have
I would sure like to see more on the 55, get me inspired to get going on mine
I assume it is 5x4.75 bolt pattern? If so, what rotors did you use? I am having issues finding a once piece set.

where did you get the brake tee fitting that bolted to the center section?
It came on the axle, I think a 70's f100
What housing ends do you have on the 9” that the Camaro bracket bolts to it?

The things a guy will go through to use a Ford part on their Chevy.
I definitely question myself on a regular basis
Do you have the parts and part numbers that you used?
