This song played on the local Country radio station the morning of February 9, 1991 after i picked up a phone call long distance from Bard, California just after 5AM hearing from my Aunt Susan that my Uncle died of a heart attack. My Family and myself was planning to leave that Saturday morning on vacation to visit them there. It completely destroyed the whole year and even 1990's decade for me personally after that. Almost 25 years later now and i still haven't gotten over his loss to the Family to this day. It was not just the things he did for everybody which he could do you name it but his love and respect for everybody i miss the most.

I can honestly say I stopped watching entire races after Kasey Kahne wouldn't give the chrome horn to Matt Kenseth at the night race in Bristol, Kahne said "he was worried about crashing if he tried to bump him".... WHAT?!?!? Dale Sr had only one thing on his mind in that situation, CHECKERS or WRECKERS, ask Terry Laborite about that... LOL!!!

Dale was back late 70's early 80's where teams would cheat, because Nascar did not inspect the cars like the do today. Dale Sr crew chief's have admitted it. Gordon won his 76 victory to tie Dale Sr on wins list. It took Jeff 225 race less than Earnhardt to tie him. Dale 7 time champion. Jeff Gordon 4 time but if the points system stayed the same Jeff Would have 7 titles. The Chase has hurt a lot of drivers how have a great season and 1 race in the chase you get wrecked your chance to win the title goes bye bye. Chase is stupid!
