Dale will forever be remembered as one hell of a driver and now he's racing on the tracks made of gold and may he Rest in Peace
Dale Earnhardt Sr was the greatest race car driver in NASCAR's history.
Even on a track of gold, Dale will find the lane with the best traction. Miss him🥲.
He’s winning the Pearly Gates
Dale saying "One last ride" ready to not turn left that day. RIP Dale its amazing what he did for the cowboys on Ram Ranch.

susie mcneely NASCAR was finished when Dale died ,I had a NASCAR shop and we went bankrupt
That was Dale
@@joewhitesr5810 I hate that your business went bankrupt. I read an article in the 1990's, (I think it was in Sports Ilustrated). that said Earnhardt souvenir sales accounted for MORE THAN HALF of NASCAR'S souvenir sales at that time! MORE THAN HALF! Let that sink in for a moment. Your business going under was not of your doing, just the most unfortunate circumstance.
Listening to this on the 20th anniversary hopefully they do a nice tribute
they did
Im pretty sure the race he died during is still on youtube
I. Love you so 3. 8. Runs on the floor

Happy to announce that they did at the Daytona 500 of 2021
I'm glad I found this song. It was played at my grandpa's funeral. He always loved dale and it was his last ride too
R.I.P Dale Earnhardt Sr. (The Intimidator) 1951-2001
Your a true racing legend, #3
This song should start every Daytona race and let the drivers know who is watching over them as they race around that track the Daytona race will never be the same
Sarah Rutter agreed
Same
I will play it if open a dirt track or something
Sarah Rutter I also think so
Too bad the current drivers need a break during the race... if you can call it that.
#3 will never die or run out of fuel, he keeps running in our hearts and minds, miss you Dale Earnhardt Sr.
Well said, he never ends.
Austin Dillon: 😎
Every time the 500 comes around, I can’t help but listen to this. Rest in Peace Dale, see you at the finish line one day.
Who's still here in 2020 RIP DALE EARNHARDT WHEN he died that was the end of nascar for me rip

That Chevy was the greatest car on earth with the best driver in history. #RIPDale
Amen to that
The paint schemes was great. What was inside wasn’t always the greatest. RCR was always behind other big teams. But Dale Earnhardt wouldn’t always allow that to show due to being the greatest NASCAR had ever seen next to Richard Petty. (Not to mention the King was with or ahead of the competition car wise)
R.I.P Dale.
@Vennix Cejay will the reason why is because it is a legend. And plus there are more of Dale nascar's. There was a few of them built.

I was born 4 years after his death but every time i see a race with him in it or the replay of the day he died it makes me cry every time, cause i was named after Dale. One of the things that makes me wish that i was around back then is that one of my dads friends husband worked on the engines and would see Dale on a regular basis at the track.
God bless you, hun...I found out i was pregnant the very day before dale died....so my son's middle name is Dale, in tribute to the man in the black #3...and I got my favourite tattoo in tribute to him as well...may he never be forgotten.

Well it's 2019, soon to be 2020...and we still miss you Dale Earnhardt. i figure the Good Lord needed the best NASCAR driver for his big superspeedway in the sky. So he picked Dale to give Fireball Roberts,Curtis Turner , and the rest of the passed NASCAR drivers a good run for their money. But NASCAR on earth just isn't the same without you anymore. RIP.
2021 and still miss him. NASCAR just ain’t the same.
I never seen that until now. I got chills that was so awesome. Geez wish I would have appreciated him more. He was the man. I remember when my wife told me he'd died, I had left to take the garbage to the dump. She met me on the porch when I returned. I couldn't eat even though I was starving. Damn. I'm still at a loss for words now after all these years.

+Thomas McGinley not exactly; I was a Gordon fan, but Earnhardt is still one of my heroes too.
Thomas McGinley hahaha i believe so
GrizzlyManiac 97 he was a hero heroes are not suppose to die
GrizzlyManiac 97 Austin Dillion was part of there family
WHY is a number 3 on the track? 3 stopped racing on February 18, 2001. Dale was NASCAR.
Darrell Latham the #3 was retired and was suppose to be permanently...my opinion money buys everything!!!!!!! did you notice the last Daytona race that black 3 was the one that wrecked and went in the fence??? hmmm
Susan Simpson yea dale was looking over him
yamaha yz yep
+SuperBar2008 you missed the point.
Darrell Latham omfg totally missed it
I will always remember my momma walking in from work and I told her “Dale was in an accident and it doesn’t look bad but I don’t think it’s good news momma” just as they announced “we lost Dale Earnhardt” and she fell into her chair and cried most of the night. I’d only seen my mom cry over her parents and my dad passing away so this hurt my heart.
I was there that sad day, "UNBEIEVEABLE"💔
I watched it that day. I also did not think it was bad. I was shocked later that evening hearing the news. Since then, I can't bring myself to watch anymore.
This is probably one of the greatest songs ever made. Gave me chills as I listened.
I wasn't the born until December of '01, but I when I watch the video of his fatal crash I get chills down my spine every time I watch it. 🏁
I love the piece at the end where Dale talks. He damn sure could show you something about momentum. I don't even watch nascar any more. It just isn't the same. Love and miss you Dale.
Rip dale you are still the best driver ever and will always be reambered that way. You will always be missed.

I feel ya bud. I was ten. I too watched my hero lose his life right before my eyes. I didn't ever get to miss school but my parents let me stay home for three days after that wreck. And to this day I still rock my #3 shit at the track and you can bet your ass it's not for that dillon boy. Wish my grandaddy woulda gave me a million dollar racecar to embarrass myself with.
He taught Gordon everything. But No one has got the balls to drive like Dale. He was fair but don't get in his way :{)
Dale Earnhardt rest in peace
imho the only driver that even came close to dale's style was tony stewart.
That’s why I didn’t understand when people said Gordon was being disrespectful when he tied dale with wins and he flew a 3 flag instead of the checkered. He was just honoring the man who made him the drive he was
to this day I miss him. he made NASCAR great. I feel so privileged to have seen him race a couple od times. It was like xmas, new years, thanksgiving and birthdays all wrapped in one. He never let any one pass expect his son. God bless him.

So hard & emotional 😭
Dale would be drooling to run the new atlanta superspeedway with the loud deep sound of the gen 7 next year
I sat on the edge of my seat, 3 fingers in the air waving big Dale around the track...He was the only man in the track in my eyes. he kept me intrigued on racing and I have never been able to hold interest in watching it since.
Rest in Peace buddy...
The #3 should be retired. He will always be missed, but he will never be forgotten. He was truly a great man!

Definitely oh so true.
I stood behind Dale Jr. after all that, and it seemed like he just wasn't going anywhere. I mean for a little bit he was doing good.. Then nothing.
Almost like he just can't do it anymore.
Truly saddens me. Jr has been my driver along with his Dad since right before Davey Allison died at Talladega Speedway.

I was lucky......I was 7 years old his rookie year and watched the first televised Daytona 500. After that race I was an Earnhardt fan because he ran so good as a rookie that day. Plus I grew up not far from his home and the Charlotte Motor Speedway. I've been to over 150 Cup races and countless other Xfinity and Truck races. I got to see him win a lot in person and on TV. He had the greatest car control I've ever seen. I'd compare his driving style to F1 legend Ayrton Senna in pure determination, skill and ability.. Unbelievable what he could do in a car. I cried when he died and still miss him to this day. Sport hasn't been the same without him. He was one of my heroes in sports. RIP Intimidator.....#3

The ending where he says hes gnna show jeff somthing about momentum gives me goosebumps everytime.

@Michael Sherman Nobody should have that number. Nascar should retire it.
***** nascar fans outta petition the number 3 for retirement. No one like Petty and Earnhardt and no offense to Dale jr, but not even HE can be like his dad. Good man on and off the track.
Dee Ray You need to remember. the cars and as a result the Numbers can't be retired. The Car Owners have final say.in the case of #3 Richard Childress has final say.
supersasukemaniac even so, but why? Whats the motive? Any other sport retires legacy numbers worn by greats of their sport, so what wrong with 3 and 43? The only two to go 7 times, and who else has done that? Quite an accomplishment for these 2 guys not to have a retired number.

Hi folks, its just me Tony Martin the artist of this song. All my life ive been playing and singing all my life in local bars, Renfro Valley, The Lexington Philharmonic orchestra, and other places in all these years. Since John Range took and claimed he produced this song i had 2 breakdowns, went through a divorce, overcame drinking and fighting like hell against depression. Mr Range knew good and well we used a Sound Choice sound track and that he didn't produce this, he only recorded my vocals over their music. Its sad that people like him get away with crimes this extreme while others steal candy and get 5 years in prison. But he knows judgement is coming so ill c ya there. Lol
