I've just watched 'Crossroads 2007' - quite amazing how BB utterly idolises Eric! This is a truly mindboggling dvd with Sonny Landreth (utterly brilliant incredible style and I'd never heard of him), Derek Trucks, Johnnie Winter, Robert Randolph (never heard of him either, totally electrifying pedal steel blues player), Steve Winwood (what a guitarist!) and the mighty wall of blues named Los Lobos all giving fantastic performances. They are so good I haven't even mentioned Jeff Beck or John Mayer! In fact I've bought the rest of the Crossroads DVDs as aids to removing the rust from my bluesbroken fingers and can't wait to continue my crusade.

Thanks Sam. Speaking of BB, I particularly like all the really raw-sounding recordings from the '50s. Just brilliant.

Try to make a lesson about the Peter Green BOX its a Hybrid BOX which is a BB BOX but 5 frets DOWN starting and ending on the 6th scale degree to make it sound sweeter. Listen to John Mayall with Peter Green and Early Fleetwood Mac Blues Band he uses this Peter Green Box to make a lesson on the licks
