Congrats on hitting the 50K milestone!! Very well deserved! I started following your channel over a year ago with your vlogs on Vietnam. I can clearly see why you had this as part of the 100K subscribers special. A truly exquisite experience. I have travelled with Qatar few times on short-haul only (from/to LCA) and their service has always been exceptional.
Great authentic video, I’m from the Philly area and fly to Doha and Dubai 3-4 times a year and my airline of choice been Qatar airlines for the past 8 years and all business class. I avoid flying from PHL because they have the worst customs agents in the US service and I prefer flying out of JFK even though it adds about 3 hours to my travel which I’m willing to sacrifice. I took my family on vacation in 2022 and 2021 using Qatar airlines and cashed in some miles and we loved the quads center seats in the Qsuites. Thanks again
Fantastic stuff. I normally take the Western route from the East Coast of the US to Asia and was concerned about taking the Eastern route for various reasons. This video eased those fears. Appreciate your dedication to being honest. Well done.
Thanks very much for that. As long as you have a good jetlag routine, it's really not that big of a deal going the eastern route, just a few more hours in the air. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
I think it was my best dish of the year in the air so far… so refreshing to fly an airline that does really well executed comfort food. I love filet, beef cheeks and baked salmon as much as the next guy… but it’s nice when an airline doesn’t rely on just the standard staples. Thanks very much for watching 🙏🏻

This is the first time I have come across your channel, and it certainly won't be the last video I watch. I had the pleasure of Qatar's business class before they introduced the Qsuites, so I am hoping to hop back on a flight in the next couple of years to sample it. Thank you for an informative, humorous and engaging review. I did have a chuckle about the pillow fight! Liked and subscribed :) Also, you mentioned about the crew replacing the paper on the toilet... I felt so embarrassed; I contracted a rare bacterial disease from eating undercooked seafood. I wasn't in any pain, but was probably carrying out my payload about 20-30 times a day (I wish I was joking) - watching the crew do this multiple times during the flight was certainly embarrassing!
One of the best aerial videos I've seen. Do the cabin crew frown with the gopro on the window? Always wanted to do that but too scared in case they disapprove. That said seen hundreds of cockpit videos with gopros on the front screen.

I had a pouch from Bric’s for both SFO-DOH and DOH-SFO last year. But the amenities inside was not as good as the diptyque stuff you had here. Btw did QR stops serving Laurent Perrier Rose in both your flights? I got hooked on that stuff since my flights with them last year, and buy it sometimes on my dimes to reminisce those flights. Their rose substitute here doesnt look shabby at all tho. I think QR has the 2nd best business class champagne among all airlines with 3 offerings including the non-alcoholic one. I think they are only behind Eva with Vueve Cliquot La Grande Dame.
On both of my flights and in the lounge they were serving Charles Heidsieck Rose- I’m more of a coffee snob than a wine snob though so as long as it tastes good and doesn’t give me a champagne headache I’m all for it 😂 And thank you very much for the support 🙏

Your thumbnail caption got me, well played Sir. Wonderful description and happy to be a new subscriber. Fantastic review! Makes me excited for my Qatar Qsuite flight in October.
Well I bit the bullet today Kevin and booked QR Business class BNE-DOH-FRA and return so had to watch your vid again to familiarise myself! I am an SQ tragic for our travel to Asia and Europe so first time dancing with the competition for awhile! Mix of 773 and 351 so hoping for Qsuites all the way 🤞. As always, awesome review ✈👍
I've flown a decent amount of premium cabin international flights at this point - both those breakfasts look like they'd top anyone's menu. chilaquiles quite the surprise indeed!
Great video! 3 weeks ago I had the pleasure of flying from Seattle to Doha aboard a Qatar 777-300 in QSuites. I was flying solo, so I had a window seat. I agree with pretty much everything you said and would give nearly identical marks. The comfort, hospitality, food, everything was wonderful. Upon arrival into Doha, I made my way to the Al Mourjan lounge where I took a nice, hot shower (my flight was almost 15 hours). The lounge is huge and luxurious with superb food. Since I had an 8-hour layover before my 5-hour flight to Kathmandu, I eventually left the lounge and found the Sleep N Fly cubicles and settled in for a very quiet and comfortable 3 hours. The Doha airport is huge and crowded and noisy, so the quiet solitude was worth it. I am looking forward to doing it again in a few months!
Did QSuites 4 times last year and I gotta say it was by far the best among a lot of biz class that I have tried. But I havent tried ANA the room yet. You gotta do a review on ANA the room to compare now.
The Room is ALWAYS on my radar, but not the easiest to snag for a decent deal. I had the new NH First Class planned for last month originally, but they cancelled the flight 😭 Thanks for watching 🙏
@@tfft haha I know I am sharing the same sentiment. I am trying to book the Room award at 12 months out for SGN-LAX (only have 787 somehow and only waitlist available next Jul), or even SGN-JFK (kinda a stretch since Im based in SFO), but still couldnt find anything yet for a 1 way award. Doesnt help that I need 3 J seats though. I am looking forward to your review of either the room or the suite. Btw a friend told me SGN-LAX round trip has the room for about ~$2.7k usd too.
Yupp, I’m trying to use some (crappy) Lifemiles or Asiana Club miles that I have just sitting there to get a one way from anywhere in ASEAN to either the UK or the US. Hoping I can snag something in September for next year.
I have been flying by Qatar in their amazing Qsuites since 2017. Probably have flown more than 16 times from US to Asia. Amazing ambiance, food, privacy, comfort and finally the great hospitality by the fantastic hostesses. I agree, they could offer a better pillow. It’s not bad, but but could be better. The NC headphones are okay, but I bring my own Sony WM4. I definitely love Qatar’s quality and diversity of the food and that I can have anything and everything, whenever I’d like to.
great narration and review. aside from a rude gate agent pre-flight on a qr segment, everything else has been good when i have flown with them in business class. looking forward to flying on qr again in january, 2024 to/from cpt, incidentally, flying cpt-doh-phl-bna on the return flights..
These QSuites look quite nice, but I definitely prefer the side seats that are next to the aisle rather than the window because I’m tall. On the seats next to the window, I finding getting up and out from the bed position really tough because of the bulge from the seat in front. The access is much wider when you are seating next to the door, and for someone who is sensitive to space, feel a lot less confining to me than those where your shoulder is so close to the fuselage.
Sure, besides being closer to the window, I prefer the window side seats because the aisle side seats have a bit less shoulder space when sitting due to the curve of the Qsuite doors. More noticeable on the A350 than the 777 thought. Thanks for watching 🩴
A really great report, but he says he "could care less about ads. in general". We found this phrase odd when we lived in the US. To us (Brits) "he could care less" means that he may like it because he "could care less" than he currently does. We'd say "we could NOT care less". Please don't judge me, I like languages and different phrasing. That breakfast is pure perfection, not an insipid chicken sausage in sight. Well done, sir.
Sure, you are absolutely correct. Just one of those colloquial anomalies we have in the US- probably originally meant as sarcasm haha. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Just a constructive suggestion. On these reviews, it's probably best to document the business lounge of the airline with which you're flying rather than the Centurion Lounge. Even if you want to end up at Centurion, at least go to the airline's lounge and document what to expect. Also, long segments of take-off, etc., aren't really helpful when someone's trying to pick an airline. We've all seen take-offs and landings before. The service, lounges, food, seats, and bathrooms are more of interest. Otherwise, great video!
Just found your video and decided l must subscribe. Love flying and travelling overseas. Of course living in Australia all flights are pretty long haul to us.
Sure, I always have wing and engine views in my videos if the seat is besides them. Rarely do seats in front of Door 2 allow this though. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
13:38 - All 3 of those dated map pins - Titanic, Empress of Ireland, Andrea Doria - are shipwrecks. That is kind of interesting yet funny and slightly dark, hahah.
I did a 15hr long haul trip from mnl to mxp with connection in tpe back in February. As I wanted to fly business, I spent hours on end over business class reviews and I came across Qatar Airways too. How is it even relevant to review qsuites when Qatar air has so much diversity in their fleet that there is no assurance that your plane won't be changed with another that doesn't have the qsuite product? Out of 4 business class products I have flown in, Lufthansa, Ethiopian, Turkish (old 777 configuration) and Eva air I can solemnly swear that Eva air blows the doors off all three. It wasn't only the cocoon seat, but also amazing personalised service, 5 course delicious meal, Jason Wu pyjamas (yes! Pyjamas where other high profile airlines even have the amenity kit optional these days) and overall feeling of being pampered throughout the flight.
Yupp. EVA is great, I have two reviews coming out in couple weeks on them. As for Qatar, the majority of their 777s and A350s do have QSuites, so I don’t get the “how’s it relevant” thing. Especially with the Airbus resolution, the percentage of aircraft with QSuites will be increasing quickly.
@@tfft maybe I exaggerated there, didn't mean to bash your report in, I just looked my route in flightradar to find the plane type and similar UA-cam reviews for the itinerary from MNL/BKK and other 'nearby' airports to European airports and I couldnt find not one review with qatar qsuites for this route
As I write this a QSuites equipped 77W is currently en route from MNL-DOH (A7-BEC). QR has up to three daily flights to Manila and all of them are currently operated by 77W, many of the frequencies on QSuites equipped aircraft. As for Bangkok, most frequencies are currently on A380s, which don’t have QSuites but do have First Class… Here is a list of all QSuite 77Ws: A7-BAC A7-BAE A7-BAF A7-BAG A7-BAI A7-BAM A7-BAO A7-BAT A7-BAU A7-BAV A7-BAW A7-BAX A7-BAY A7-BAZ A7-BEA A7-BEB A7-BEC A7-BED A7-BEE A7-BEF A7-BEG A7-BEH A7-BEI A7-BEJ A7-BEK A7-BEL A7-BEM A7-BEN A7-BEO A7-BEP A7-BEQ A7-BER A7-BES A7-BET A7-BEU A7-BEV A7-BEW A7-BEX
I can only comment on my own flights, but my QSuite flight following this on an A350 also had the same problem. Actually I found probably around 50% of seats out there are not perfectly flat either due to the headrest protruding or the seat it self not being level (or in the case of QSuite, both). Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
What day was your actual flight? My girlfriend works for Qatar airways she’s a cabin crew and we were in Philadelphia about a month ago and she works business class And I’m curious if she was on this flight
QR doesn't really have to worry about shareholder value since it's a branch of the goverment. It's primary aim is to be an advertisement for the country.
Well personally I’d choose 2 window seats, but I doubt that’s the answer you’re looking for lol. You’d probably want the two middle seats which are closer together. Different aircraft have these seats in different rows though so you’ll need to look at the seat map when you book the ticket. On QR’s website it will clearly show which seats are close together. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
It is probably an emberassing question, but how much can you order on Food and wine which is included in the price? Are there any limitations or is it as much as you can drink/eat? Sorry for the question, I did not fly business class yet
Some airlines are strict about eating certain foods at certain times. Qatar is very flexible because all of their food is dine on demand. Their only problem is sometimes dishes run out. Thanks for watching 🩴
They’ve never been big on 5th freedoms. Before Covid they did SNG-PNH, GRU-EZE and Djibouti-Mogadishu… all three suspended at the moment. Would love to know how that latter one did tbh lol. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Had the same problem on my next flight from DOH-SIN… also tried it on an empty center seat on the Philly flight. All of them the same (on the A350 was a touch flatter, but the same problem overall). Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
There’s a saying in Spanish, “La vida es una serie de sucesivos comienzos…” -Life is a series of successive beginnings. I lost my previous (F&B) business due to COVID and here we are at my new beginning. And fyi, “Full Time” ≠ “Raking it it”… it just means, making content full time 😉 Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
They were loosely required during my flights, but that was almost two months ago and may have more to do with where I was flying than with who. Check directly. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
I've always thought that Paul Lucas sets the standard for flight-reviews - and he's still great. But even though it's taken you sixteen months, you're now at the same level and I'm not just saying that because you managed to work in four 'super-'s. (It was four, wasn't it?) Your witty scripting and excellent narration are your particular strengths. BTW, I looked at Hammad's departures board a few hours ago: hugely impressive punctuality! P.S. 'Dutch Pilot Girl' still pips you on geographic labelling. :)
I’m a huge fan of Wingin It- took a break a bit ago from editing the Apurva Kempinski to watch his RJ video… so I take this as quite the compliment, thanks very much for that. Tbh, only 2 of the supers were intentional, but I wouldn’t put 4 past me. Will have to check out Dutch Pilot Girl… but I kinda feel like she should be superior at the geographical labels, being a pilot (I assume…?) and all lol. Thanks as always for watching 🙏🏻
As a us citizen, do I need to purchase a visa to go to Doha? I will be coming home from Phuket. Phuket-Doha-phl. I have a 19 hour layover in Doha and I was hoping to leave the airport and go see the city
@@tfft ok. Thank you. In your experience, is it worth staying over in Doha for a night? Or would you take a 6 hour layover and just come home. I ask, because based on your travels, you and I seem to have Very similar tastes in travel. I’ve actually stayed at many of the same places that you have, and had pretty much the same opinions.
Your video is very well made. However, what I don’t like as much is the title, which is a bit misleading. Although I must admit that I obviously didn’t read the entire headline out of laziness. But I watched the video with confusion the whole time, wondering what exactly the problem was. In my opinion, this confusion was unnecessary
So these are the vaulted QSuites. I've heard so much about them but I've never ever flowned on them. Gotta say, the food service almost seems like First Class level meals. Never thought I would ever see things like lobster bisque and cheese plates in business class. I had a pretty good laugh at the chocolate phrase "Chocolate is happiness you can eat". Not a fan of the non-flat beds though. That has always been a key thing for me. I honestly could not care about the food as long as I had a lie flat bed, especially on long haul flights. Thats probably a deal killer for me, which is a sham because everything else, and especially the food, looks incredible. As for suggestions for improvement, I think it would have been nicer to have a more indepth look at the Centurion lounge at the airport. Its not part of the core QSuites offering, but if we're flying on a premium cabin, it is part of the experience and I'm always curious to see what the premium lounges are like across the world since I've only ever flown on non-economy flights a grand total of 4 times in my entire life. I would also be very interested in how good the mattress padding was for the "bed mode" of the seat. I've heard that the padding is a bit hit and miss sometimes between airlines, with some being too thin to really provide a nice cushion against the seat.
Thanks very much for the feedback. Actually the AMEX lounge in Philly is tiny (and very awkward to film in lol), you pretty much saw 80% of it this video. I did forget to mention the seat cover. I’d say it’s middle of the road. Certainly more substantial than just a fabric cover but if I closed my eyes I’d probably not know if it was there or not. For me, they’re more of a “this seat now feels fresh and clean thing…” Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
I generally don’t drink in lounges, so I’d tend to disagree. Majority of the time I’d rather be in a Flagship Lounge, Polaris Lounge or Sky Club (and even a few Admirals Clubs) than in Centurion lounges with the exception of the speakeasy at JFK. I find the Centurion Lounges to be designed for quick in and out access and rarely have many spots to comfortably sit for an hour or two. Of course, still better than nothing though! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Do you not know how trip reports work? It’s a report, about a trip. There are no “points”… there is just, what happened. Take a few happy pills, maybe you’ll find your points.
It's the first time to hear someone who can notice the challenge of having a good crew on multinational airlines as you did. It's not easy to get people who have a different background and believe to work in the service industries and have the same level of 5-star service.
Ive been watching yoy for at least 6 maybe even 10 months and i honestly love your content sooo much! The narration suits your footage so well! I highly regard tou as a Top Tier Avation UA-camr, the humour and the way you present your video's is so relaxing and such a good laugh :) cheers! Im glad you're fulltime on YT you desever the best and hopefully money starts rolling soon :) i look up to you dude :)
i am taking a trip to Thailand soon and i get to fly from seattle to DOHA in the Q suits .. i am so excited for my flight .. side note .. i would be nice to see what you look like to know a face to the voice .. thank you for all your content
If you knew what I looked like, then the airlines would as well. I believe a truly unbiased review needs to be anonymous so that there’s no special treatment which is very common in the industry. Hope you enjoy your trip! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Best qsuites review on UA-cam. Thank you.

I am flying Qsuites Bali to Miami via Doha next time I return to US. Nice video
Enjoy your trip 🗺️
I've flown a decent amount of premium cabin international flights at this point - both those breakfasts look like they'd top anyone's menu. chilaquiles quite the surprise indeed!
Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Excellent informative review…I mean the detail of measuring the seats and space available🙌🏻🙌🏻Brilliant you have a new fan😎😎
Thanks for watching and Happy New Year 🎉
Bro took the review too seriously hahahah. Great video best I have ever seen so far 😭💫

Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
i love your videos sir! ive been watching them since last month i now regularly watch ur flight experiences hope ill fly international one day!
Thanks very much 🙏🏻
This is very useful information for an upcoming business trip I have to take. Thanks.

Agree on all fronts and also couldn’t travel without my Sonys 😊 Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Great.. Cheers
Nice video thank you for sharing, looking forward to the next one!

@@tfft yes I subscribed and hit the thumbs up also 😊
Qatar Airways is anyways the King of Airlines 👍

Nice flight report.
Thanks very much for watching 🙏🏻
great narration and review. aside from a rude gate agent pre-flight on a qr segment, everything else has been good when i have flown with them in business class. looking forward to flying on qr again in january, 2024 to/from cpt, incidentally, flying cpt-doh-phl-bna on the return flights..

Thanks for this vlog. Fly and safe travels. Ciao.

Pretty sure I mentioned in the video that the only available Admirals Club was in a completely different concourse… hence, Centurion.
Wow, flight was so turbulent that a half filled glass spilled and the pepper shaker was... shaking
Thanks for watching 🩴
Just found your video and decided l must subscribe. Love flying and travelling overseas. Of course living in Australia all flights are pretty long haul to us.

I understand the point end envy, but most travellers use economy. How about a few more travel videos showing economy class experiences ?
You mean in addition to the 43 Economy videos I have on the channel? lol
Nice one ! 😊

Thanks very much for the support and for watching 🙏🏻
The food was great. Loved the tripreport. Can you show the wing and engine upon takeoff and landing, if your selected seat allows?
Sure, I always have wing and engine views in my videos if the seat is besides them. Rarely do seats in front of Door 2 allow this though. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
13:38 - All 3 of those dated map pins - Titanic, Empress of Ireland, Andrea Doria - are shipwrecks. That is kind of interesting yet funny and slightly dark, hahah.
At least their not plane wrecks! Haha.
I am a nervous flyer and alcohol helps me get thru, will I have a problem getting a few drinks?
Certainly not- why would you think you’d have a problem? Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Is that normal for the seat? I’m a side sleeper and have never heard anyone mention that detail about the seat.

Perhaps I was a bit earlier. I flew out the week of 13 June. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
QR doesn't really have to worry about shareholder value since it's a branch of the goverment. It's primary aim is to be an advertisement for the country.
Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
I work at Philadelphia International Airport and I work with the pre boards on the fight. Qatar 728. I know all the agents on that flight
Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Which seats are best for 2 people sitting together?
I am buying one
The whole plane? 😅
What setup do you use for making video?
iPhones and iMovie! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Thanks! I absolutely love these videos thank you
Thanks very much for watching and for the support! Means the world 🙏🏻
I may give Qatar a try on a 5th freedom, if they have any. Not sure if I've any interest in travelling to or through the country
They’ve never been big on 5th freedoms. Before Covid they did SNG-PNH, GRU-EZE and Djibouti-Mogadishu… all three suspended at the moment. Would love to know how that latter one did tbh lol. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
I think your seat was malfunctioning. Both times I've flown Q Suite the bed was 100% completely flat.
Had the same problem on my next flight from DOH-SIN… also tried it on an empty center seat on the Philly flight. All of them the same (on the A350 was a touch flatter, but the same problem overall). Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
What??? You have 8K~ subs and you are doing this full time?
Don't get me wrong, I think you are best travel channel on UA-cam right now.
There’s a saying in Spanish, “La vida es una serie de sucesivos comienzos…” -Life is a series of successive beginnings. I lost my previous (F&B) business due to COVID and here we are at my new beginning.
And fyi, “Full Time” ≠ “Raking it it”… it just means, making content full time 😉
Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Are they still requiring face masks full time for all passengers? That would be a deal breaker for me on an 8-hour flight
🤷🏼♂️ A visa expert, I am not lol.
@@tfft ok. Thank you. In your experience, is it worth staying over in Doha for a night? Or would you take a 6 hour layover and just come home. I ask, because based on your travels, you and I seem to have Very similar tastes in travel. I’ve actually stayed at many of the same places that you have, and had pretty much the same opinions.
I really like your videos. Very detailed and a lot of attention to detail. You are very fair and unbiased. Your sarcasm, sorry but not a big fan 😊
The sarcasm comes as part of the full package deal 😅 Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
A meticulous video with conversion between inch and metre. As I live in Vietnam, I am not familiar with inch 😂
😂 Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Your video is very well made. However, what I don’t like as much is the title, which is a bit misleading. Although I must admit that I obviously didn’t read the entire headline out of laziness. But I watched the video with confusion the whole time, wondering what exactly the problem was. In my opinion, this confusion was unnecessary
The title is, “QATAR AIRWAYS 777 Business Class QSuites【4K Trip Report PHL-DOH】The BEST of the Best!”… how on earth is that misleading?
1K looks larger than 3K
It's not lol... but ok.
I love Q-suite from Qatar, have tried it and now I find it is difficult to go lower
Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
😂😂😂 same way I feel when trying to justify cattle class. I'll get to desk then quietly ask: how much is an upgrade to business 😂
@@o.c.g.m9426 I never tried upgrade on the counter, how is it usually? more expensive or less?
They just open new longue in doha
So 2 lounges
And when the video was published, there was just one 😉
@@tfft just this month
Qatar PJs are given on flights above 6 hours…
Thanks! Good to know.
For me, they’re more of a “this seat now feels fresh and clean thing…”
Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
If you fly Emirates you will avoid taking any other airlines as service is unmatched .

The AMEX Centurion still look much better than other American based airline lounges
Don't fly Emirates BC. It was terrible. Qatar is way better option.
They’re all worth a try! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Man get to the point.
Do you not know how trip reports work? It’s a report, about a trip. There are no “points”… there is just, what happened.
Take a few happy pills, maybe you’ll find your points.
4:55 which seats are rhe best for travellers with infants?
All airlines have infant bassinet seats designated. You'd need to contact QR directly to book them.
It's the first time to hear someone who can notice the challenge of having a good crew on multinational airlines as you did. It's not easy to get people who have a different background and believe to work in the service industries and have the same level of 5-star service.
Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Especially when the crew is the very casual US based
Ive been watching yoy for at least 6 maybe even 10 months and i honestly love your content sooo much! The narration suits your footage so well! I highly regard tou as a Top Tier Avation UA-camr, the humour and the way you present your video's is so relaxing and such a good laugh :) cheers! We’re looking at Qatar for travelling to Bangkok!! You make it sooooooo wantable !!! ( I know that isn’t a proper word!! 😂 )
I actually just flew them to Bangkok a few days ago lol.
i am taking a trip to Thailand soon and i get to fly from seattle to DOHA in the Q suits .. i am so excited for my flight .. side note .. i would be nice to see what you look like to know a face to the voice .. thank you for all your content
If you knew what I looked like, then the airlines would as well. I believe a truly unbiased review needs to be anonymous so that there’s no special treatment which is very common in the industry. Hope you enjoy your trip! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
