This is such a sick truck. I have studied 4Runners like no other. Love the full time auto 4 wheel drive on limited trims especially for the times my wife will drive it in the winter. The one detail that might make me go with a regular limited is the body kit difference, the super straight rear end is different than the slightly angled rear end on the regular. I just think the regular limited looks better at the back. Might get the night shade and swap out the back end bumper. Yes I am a huge nerd.
The fulltime 4 wheel drive is such a great aspect of the limited. Most people go for off road premium or trd pro but the limited is amazing. I’m in the process of doing a front end bumper conversion tho to the regular style because the limited front end does hang down a little to low and makes some off roading a little more challenging
@@pioneer_productions Totally agree! Interesting, I am looking forward to see how the front end bumper swap turns out. Are you going to black out the chrome bits?
I think I’ll just leave the “black chrome” that came with this Nightshade edition. I think it looks pretty cool as is but we’ll see when I’m done with the bumper conversion. I’m gonna make a video showing the process and another update video showing all the mods I’ve made!
Thanks! It’s a Kenwood X802-5. Powers the 4 door speakers plus the sub. Here’s a link to it (non affiliated) www.crutchfield.com/S-Xbk5WkGOGY7/p_113X8025/Kenwood-Excelon-X802-5.html
I have a 2020 nightshade. It’s my second 4Runner and love it. Another mod you should look at is Led interior lights. Made a huge difference. Also check out lasfit for headlights and fog lights. If you have a lot of equipment might be good to look at some Molle panels for the back windows for organization.
I put the lasfit heads and fog lights on my 2014 and love it also led s in the interior that's a good cheap upgrade thinking about putting the nightshade package or something like it may go with flat black I like that look also upgraded the speakers with kickers plug and play sounds great
Nice video. I felt the exact same way, wanted one since I first saw them in the late 80's. Friends of the family, had one, it was awesome. So, when I could, I ordered a 2021 Gray Nightshade and couldn't be happier. Now the wife wants it when she sells her Acura in 2025. So I may either have to get another one when the new gens come out, or just get a used 2022-2023. I really like the 5th Gens. I would be happy driving for the next 15-20 too. I have always heard to get the underbody oil film to protect the frame. Just hard to find good sources locally.
Idk why I said 16s those are for sure to small. Most likely just gonna keep the 20s get ATs then throw on the skid plates and rock sliders and hopefully good for some off roading!
I feel like every guy has a dream car. This is a great car!! I’m a big Toyota fan myself.
Absolutely! So glad I was able to buy this. Wanted a car like this for a long time
Nice 4runner. I have a 2021 white nightshade with 3rd row. Love it.
Thanks man and that’s awesome!

Awesome truck! What kind of amp are you running for those Hertz speakers?

I just upgraded the lights recently and did some noise dampening + insulation to the doors! Made a huge difference. Next up is AT tires

Just bought the same car, except mine is in Blizzard Pearl! Has Nitto Ridge Grappler tires…best mod yet!
That’s sick!
Nice 4Runner Mark! Toyota makes great vehicle.
Thanks Jason! I love it I’ll be driving it for a long time!
@@pioneer_productions I have a Tacoma as my second vehicle. 220000 miles no issues at all. Got it when it had 110000 .
Looks great!
Thank you!
Awesome! Car looks great
Thank you!
Where's the link to the tray for the center console?
In the description where it says “center console storage”
Those tinted windows are sick, wish we were allowed to tint all the windows where I live 😔😂
Thanks man! Where do you live? A bunch of people here tint the front 5% too but I just didn’t want to deal with any issues that could come haha
@@pioneer_productions I’m up in the northeast and we can tint the back windows any tint I believe, but has to remain stock for the front ones
16" wheels wont work. You will want to do 17"
I love how tasteful your add ons are
Thank you! What about 20 inch" all terrain? Overkill?
@@pioneer_productions you probably could. But 16" wont clear your brake caliper due to the rotor size in our trucks
Yup, 17’s as small as you can go
Hey Bro you can't actually put 16inch wheels on it.
I know idk why I said that haha I ended up just putting Toyo AT3s on the current wheels made a video about it
Don’t do 16” wheels…put some Ridge Grapplers on it and keep the 20’s!!!
Idk why I said 16s those are for sure to small. Most likely just gonna keep the 20s get ATs then throw on the skid plates and rock sliders and hopefully good for some off roading!
