Do you hear ticking noise from your dock from the wireless charger (when not having phone on it)? I had that problem, it only goes away if i charge my phone

I have a feeling that it's normal, because wireless chargers do output small amounts of power when they're waiting for a phone to connect to it. But the sound is annoying and most wireless chargers still don't make the noise

Okay, so I never noticed this until your comment made me check. there IS a ticking sound from the dock, but it's so quiet that I literally didn't ever notice. I have to put my ear right to it to tell. It's far quieter than the laptop fan. Also, I always have my phone on it when I'm at my desk, and it seems to stop when the phone goes on.
I would say that if yours is audible, then there's a good chance its a fault. But, i know tolerances may differ so who knows.

@@HexDSL Ah alright, I'm glad I'm not the only one. Mine is pretty quiet as well, but I have pretty sensitive ears so I picked up on it pretty quickly, but I asked family members and they didn't notice it till I mentioned it

i have the same issue. my wife noticed the noise and i notice it now as well. shame you cannot just turn the wireless charger off.
Does it come with a power brick? I want to get this to use with my MacBook and don't have any dell power bricks in the house
I purchased one from eBay which came with a power brick.
i love mine BUT why the fuck didnt dell make the USB charging cable removeable so you can put a longer one in instead of the short fixed one , total bell ends !!!
I got an extension cable on mine.
