Great video by both of you! it's great to see people breeding these fish locally rather then importing them, I love the ponds and turtles, they are a bit of a under rated fish the old Goldfish but have a real place in the hobby, I have actually seen some nice scapes with them, I look forward to your next walk through they are really interesting. 🙂
Awesome video! Goldfish are so underrated and I don't know why. A good sustainable koi pond is beyond most people, the sheer size, depth and filtration required to keep koi for many years is shocking, it's not just the cost of the fish. Other than the size they grow I think Goldfish have everything and more than koi have to offer and you don't need a pond deep enough to swim in and all the expense and complications that comes with. Within the hobby we should work on ending the snobbery and raise the profile and value of goldfish.
Couldn't agree more. Aside from being an outstanding species that has all the advantages of thousands of years of domestication, a good quality hibuna or shibunken rivals the beauty of the best koi.
Don’t loads of people breed discus…? And if not loads of people, a good few serious breeders? There are plenty of UA-cam video tours showing discus breeding facilities worldwide…
It's been amazing to watch you learn and grow through the years! You have accomplished so much with your work ethic, drive, and passion in what you do....A true role model for the youth of this world no matter what their life path goals are. Such an inspiration!
Your videos really bring the knowledge to the people. Your fascination with life and nature and beauty is apparent. You are also bringing all these people together and giving them a voice. Which is much needed in the hobby. I feel like the spirit of the hobby is life and healing. You take joy in making things blossom and grow. You are a visionary and a hard worker. What you are building and creating in your life is beautiful. You seem like a person that has empathy for others. God bless you brother and his plans for your life. Keep listening to him in your spirit and your plans will flourish. You will and are making an impact in Australia. Expand your horizons because you are meant for much greater heights. You got this and God bless
Hes good, blue shirt guy was using the net a liitle too much, he should use his hands to catch the big ones to preserve their fins by delicately handling them.
I am 14 years old and have been breeding fish for about a year I copy you on nearly all my setups i am currently breeding Blue eye albino long fin bushynose in a 15 Gallon L333 king tiger in a 15 Gallon will breed in hopefully a year or so Snow white bushynose pleco in a 15 Gallon have breed 2 time in 3 months L183 Starlight pleco I think in a 15 Gallon just got them L046 Zebra pleco bought at 3 inch I have 4 2 Male 2 female at breeding size now in a 20 Gallon high Black knight ram in 10 Gallon bred like 10 times and I am getting a really string strain now that is hardy. Panda guppy breeding in 10 Gallon Topaz Guppy in 10 Gallon and have not breed but the femal is pregnant I have basically copied you on all of it and I love the way it is coming out nice dark water tanks thanks ❤😊
WOWWW!!! Such a fantastic video... thoroughly enjoyed it, Nick!!! I also have a small pond in my balcony...... So seeing Mark's pond and beautiful fish made me emotional as well!!!! 😊😊
Cool perfect timing! My rice fish just showed up last week, I have brine shrimp cooking, and I just made a mop out of yarn. This is perfect validation for my plans lol.
Awesome video nick! Really enjoyed seeing all the different types of goldfish and all the different ponds in this amazing tour. Thanks for sharing mate 😊
I’m new to the channel and absolutely love it!❤ for a young man you sure have done a great job! I so much want to go buy a huge tank and get some fish. Keep up the great work man!!
Would love to see what he does next, i have a smaller black pond like what the turtles are in but for frogs but i definitely want goldfish in a bigger pond at some stage
Maybe I need to think about getting back in the goldfish hobby being I sold my last batch of 9 for 80$ which was surprising I have 2-110 gal stock tanks to do it with & just raise them during the warm months & sell them around fall for store credit.
love your videos! very educational and you’re really good at it 🙂 keep them coming p.s. i enjoyed your video about keeping house plants in aquarium my question is don’t fish jump out without a lid on tank? please enlighten me i have no idea thank you !
Nick, I found your channel and can't stop watching.... I've been watching to learn but don't find a video for dummies on how to set up a simple aquarium... All I have so far is a 10 gallon tank... I like the air pumps that let out the bubbles from under the gravel, but the stores don't specify the right one. Help..😊
Hey my name is Jadon you have inspired me to keep and breed fish I love your videos but I was wondering if you could give me a few tips about treating lch i have a 20l and a 90l tank and one of my breeder guppies has started to come out with it I would really appreciate your help but I understand you are very busy thanks for all your awesome videos.
I couldn't agree more with @australianbiotopes4563. Mark's goldfish are really fantastic. I've always love ponds and have never had the opportunity to have one. But Mark, his fish and his ponds are areal inspiration. Always looking forward to your next videos, Nick. I'd love to see some updates of your fish rooms and maybe your Q&A days in front of your fish shop. Keep it up! Thanks and thank Mark for us.
Very good video. But how come the eggs aren’t stick to glasses? I thought it suppose to? Can they still be hatched if they aren’t sticking to the wall?
I was told that koi actually aren't good aquarium fishes because people believe they should be kept in like one fish per 250 gallons! So people prefer them in ponds. Are you aware the elephant ear plants...the ones with the black leaves...the bulbs are edible and are made into taro? Very popular with the Hawaiians and people who live on the tropical islands.
these passionate breeder videos are fantastic.
Thanks Mark for taking the time to show us around 👍💚🇦🇺
This was an amazing video to watch, i love how he explains how he breeds the fish and shows the ponds he makes.
It is great to see someone care about and take such good care of a fish that is often neglected and abused ❤️❤️🐟🐟🐟😎👍
what a passionate lad, he made my day! Good job to you also for creating that episode
Your videos get better and better. 🎉

Show me some more of your new fish room!
Great video! Loved the turtles, I miss keeping them...
Maybe I need to think about getting back in the goldfish hobby

Ranchu goldfish mature, and can breed as soon as 6 months old. But they can continue to grow around 6 to 8 inches in length as they age☝️
Very good video. But how come the eggs aren’t stick to glasses? I thought it suppose to? Can they still be hatched if they aren’t sticking to the wall?
Can u tell me the kind of filters you had in your tanks
wow amazing i wish i had enough space to keep and raise baby goldfish my oranda keeps spawning but unfortunately i have no more space
Do goldfish need heaters? Could they live in a normal tank with just a simple sponge filter only?
First 🎉 love the vids
Goldfish are underrated in my opinion
I’m wondering how are your discus fish ?
Cute turtle
Do you always have to do manual breeding?
Had no idea koi is illegal in every other state except for NSW and WA !
👍🏻👍🏻
Please can i have the name of the food that the fry have been fed
Where is he located I’m always looking for gold fish for my ponds
Kallangur, Brisbane
@8:45 why did we add this blue liquid?
Methylene blue
It is to keep the eggs from getting fungus.
So many fishes and how to prevent ammonia spike?
halo , iwanna ask, my pearlsacale always float on top, they can swimm properly but always appear on top of water, what is the problem ?
12:56 12:57 13:00
I do believe tht fish keeping is a Disease and once you caught it you are done.. Awesome video
Wow its hard to believe that koi carp is a pest and illegal in most of Australia koi are some of the most expensive and sort after fish in the world
Interesting you can’t keep koi but I’ve always loved goldfish
