After Ross and his men stormed Beaver Hollow and forced the remaining gang members to split up they set the camp of fire and you can see it all burn if you return for the money so theres nothing for Charles to recover. When he returns to bury Arthur and Susan all he would find is 2 rotting bodies surrounded by destroyed wagons, burnt tents and other stuff.
I think there should be an achievement for this. Like it’s not really easy to get perfect wolves and panthers. Also moose don’t seem to spawn much anymore.
Moose are rare animals in this game by nature Usually i try Brandywine drop and the northern part of the the grizzlies around the loft Got 3 mooses to spawn in the same day in these 2 locations 2 were females and 1 male
If you don't resort to cheats, it will take literally days, maybe weeks if you don't play so often to upgrade the camp. And it got no point besides cosmetics
Last animal i did is cougar and moose. Just yesterday finally i did it. Moose antler and perfect cougar pelt. Best place to get cougar is near trapper at strawberry. Usually it spawn there, the moose only spawn near wapiti,. I dont know, no reward for finish it., but i am happy to finish it in chapter 3. It take me lot of time to complete it.
It took me three days to gather all the things needed to fully upgrade the camp. I’m not talking game days. Im talking REAL LIFE DAYS. And that includes getting all the materials needed for all the satchels. But it was worth it.
Honestly, I wish there were more things to renovate in the camp! It reminded me of the real estate in Ezio's Assassin Creed that was really cool to work on. Adding new decorations to Clemens Lake, the big Shady Belle mansion, that nasty swamp camp, even tragedy-brewing Murfree cavern! ☻
Nice job Indo-J on getting all that done early in chapter 2. I'm on my second play thru and did the same, Horseshoe Overlook and the camp outside Rhodes are the best camps to have all this. The Moose antlers on the giant tree at the Rhodes camp are the best touch ever! All them cougars are a BITCH to get! Lol. High five and a 👊💥
I collected every gold i could find and all money and all jewelry bags marked them so i can grab them and camp is shady belle But got 100% on the game just kept few saved files

Pretty much. But it's cool to get becuase the morale at camp actually increases a lot. Everyone is a lot more friendly and you can have a ton of really interesting interactions.
@@kam2840 Stop lying. Nothing changes no matter how much decor you dress the camp up in or how much you donate and keep resources on gold status. It doesn't change character interactions/relationships you have, give you any meaningful benefits nor does it impact the narrative. Its a giant waste of time that Rockstar put in the game to give you the illusion that this thing that adds countless hours onto the game is actually worthwhile when in actuality, it isn't.

Best luck is near the trapper on the far left of the map. Just above lake owanjila. The less you try to look the easier it is to find one. I was just riding past the river and found a perfect one multiple times.
I wish there was at least an achievement from fully upgrading the camp. The hours I went outside to get the items for Simon, holy sheet, the COUNTLESS HOURS. I'm sure of the 300 hours+ I spent on my initial 100% run, 25-50% was probably dedicated to the camp upgrades and the trapper's gear! But the camp sure looks nice when full-equipped! Nobody even thanked Arthur for gathering all that sheet! ☻
Sad that the surviving gang went their separate ways. Wish we got to see Marybeth and Tilly during epilogue instead of one short cutscene you have to find
Ngl, I got a small cosmetic upgrade not too long ago, didn't think I'd do it again, but then I just got addicted, So now I'm just hunting so I can keep decorating
2:33 I've spent about an hour looking for a fox for that seat cover lol, I've given up. Hunting is tedious especially when you have to be super precise not too damage the pelt. I'm mainly gonna focus on the 2 campfires decorations as I'm not too bothered about the skulls. Also I never actually knew you could decorate the camp lol I'm finding this out now on my 2nd playthrough 6 years later. I'll probably wait til nearer the end anyway as I'm not gonna progress past Arthur's death in this playthrough so I can have Arthur and John to play as.
It’s definitely worth doing it early on, I’ve just got the legend of the east satchel so I can carry loads and done about half the camp upgrades! Definitely got work to do but I’m going to finish it off before I finish this chapter

I don’t know if I’ll actually be able to buy stuff with the funds I’m raising. Will I have to restart the whole game if I wanna try all of the things I never knew about?

If you still haven’t found it, look around camp Isabella up in the snowy hills, if it doesn’t spawn you need to camp close by and sleep for the longest amount and then check again, if still no luck, save and reload & repeat. I literally spent a solid 5-6 hours looking for moose and found one straight away after sleeping at camp next to lake Isabella.
I had to get up to go do laundry, hit pause, left Arthur safe in camp. Came back my wife is antagonizing the entire gang. “Did you know you can get him to say funny things to people?”. I had to lose about four hours of game play to undo that.

It's was all relatively easy apart from that camp seat with the perfect muskrat,beaver and fox pelt it's the most difficult part of the game to get those three things
I finnaly done it plus satchels If waited b4 carrying on into chapter 3 of hunted 8 legendary animals as well as all the treasure hunts and challenges except bandit

The regular moose is a legendary animal in itself, mythical in its rare appearances. Magically respawns more often... once you don't need its parts and pelts anymore! GRRRR! TIP: better learn and use the two-horse duplicating trick _before_ hunting for the moose pelts (and other rare big game if any), you'll save *hours* of frustration.
I can’t upgrade John’s lodging in the camp for some reason, and I donated 4 perfect boar pelts to Pearson. Everything else has upgraded just fine with no issues whatsoever. Anybody know how I can fix that?

I just teleported to the animal's locations tbh, and just spawned a bunch of the ones I couldn't find for hours (cougars are fkn impossible to get)

Go to Bluewater Marsh at night. You'll usually see one wondering around, although they often see you first

I've seen moose where you get that legendary white horse. Thats a good place for hunting.

Chapter 4 is the last time your allowed to upgrade your camp.
Yeah Micah most likely destroyed it there’s some dialogue with miss grimshaw about it being destroyed

I believe some stay as each camp goes but by time you get to beaver hollow it goes away

Can’t remember which one it is but you can craft a trinket that stops pelts from rotting

IMO decorating the camp is a waste of pelts, you barely notice it and you lose it all in the end game . Give them all to the trapper.

It don’t, it degrade when it get shot, don’t start fights, and yes search close to camp for Wolfs

This is so cool i have done this the same 6 months ago.and yeah i lost it all just like you guys.but i have restarted the game and 1 thing is for damn sure am staying in chapter 2 no matter what.there's enough things to do while in chapter 2 without doing the main missions.in most lf the games you would say ey waaw the end is the the best but in this game.nah forget it because the beginning is THE BEST.
