- In this video we show the install of our Beast 2000 5th Scale servo for steering, and our 422HDv2 Servo for shifting. We used out 6in Lockable Extension and our Servo Washers for the install. All parts available at ReefsRc.com or authorized dealers.

Good trick to get back to the car when battery goes.
With truck off move the shifter servo to the middle. This putts it in neutral. Hook short top to bumper, left front wheels off the ground and roll it where you want to go. 😉👍

Panhard mount on axle and shock tower need to be aluminum to prevent flex. Waiting for vitavon axle housings and shock towers to be made

I'd love some reefs servos in my trucks, but have you seen the price of them ? I'm in the UK, a beast servo for my scx6 is just shy of £400 ?? 400 smackers for a servo is outrageous imo, you can buy another decent RC truck for that.

If you can engineer stuff, it'll be nice to have metal shock caps. Mine is already squirting oil on hard impacts
Would you recommend a bec to run the beast 1000 or do you think stock electronics can handle it

I am newer to the RC world and do not understand a lot of things yet, I am learning and willing to learn. Can the reef 2000 beast be installed WITHOUT having the separate power supply (battery)?
No, the 2000 is powered separately. The Reefs 1000 is powered by the ESC and doesn't require a separate battery.
Does the 2000 beast fit in a Arrma Outcast 8S?

Hi there i bought a reefs beast 1k for my scx6 was told it would just plug in and work but got it in and its not doing anything am i missing something? Do i need to bind it somehow?
It’s plug and play. Make sure you have it plugged into the rx the correct way. I bet the signal and negative as swapped. Hit me up at broc@reefsrc.com if that doesn’t fix it.
@reefsrc yeah I plugged it in to the steering portion in both directions and doesn't seem to work at all (this is my first time upgrading any electronics on an rc so I know it's 99% operator error haha)
