Beautifully done . Just wondering if you could post the name of the white wash and the sealer that you used . I just sanded my solid maple dresser and want to modernize it . Thank you
They came out amazing! Is there a particular reason you use baby wipes for the wash? I don’t think I’ve seen that before! Beautiful and committed work!
Thank you so much. It was a heat wave at the time. On those days I've come to realise that it's better to throw out 1small baby wipe as opposed to a large dried out rag. I dont have running water in the workshop yet ☺
So how do we keep the piece from tannins bleeding through if we don’t prime the wood before hand? I’m trying to figure out if I have to use a clear primer of some sort I don’t know 😩
Ive now done this but one bedside cabinet is whiter than the other , Would sanding the whiter one help with getting rid of some of the white so it matches the other cabinet. Thankyou 😊
Oh,,,,tooo fast for me lovely. I neeeed to paint stained type of top with bottom dresser. Chalk paint white ,ok, for lounge. How about othe4 furniture?
It will depend on what the timber cabinets are made of. They will need to be soild timber. The wash will only work on raw wood so you would need to sand off any finish first.
A more polite response to my free video that I didn't have to share and I'm not receiving any money from would be. Do you have a more in depth tutorial please? Or perhaps can you post a longer video available to watch please? Not sure how much info you think I can add. A short is maximum 1 minute. Way to short a time to delve any deeper into the why and how of process.
You may not have they were worth re-doing, but they came out beautifully!
Baby wipe??!?!?!? Why didn't i think of this!! Brilliant! Thanks :)
Love this particular technique! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I've read that a clear shellac can first be used but do not have actual experience with doing it.

I need this finish for my boys room bedframe. And its now the wooden color . What steps i need to follow plz someone help
Do I have to sand inbeteeen each white coat, or just the last coat before sealing
When you say I did 3 coats, did you mean with the sealant or the white wash
3 coats of sealer

Can you mention the color grade n name??
I have a grey stained dining table. Can I whitewash it and apply a walnut/oak stain for a natural wood look?
I also want to whitewash my table but what do you use to seal it so it’s wipeable?
I have been wanting to get a white oak color on my mother’s kitchen cabinets but do not know how to do it. Can I use your methods for these cabinets?

What is that topcoat you used? Ty 🙂
Water based Polyurethane
What kind of paint do you use? Any?
You can use any water-based paint to wash wood. Even ceiling white. Paint is just used as a tint into the water to dye the raw wood ❤️
Boho??? What is that in English?
Completely too fast and completely over my head was absolutely not useful
