This was a custom order so I was just trying to achieve the look I was asked!!
This is exactly what I needed. Can't wait to try it. Thank you for sharing.
Happy it helped!
Dang girl - those look wonderful! You keep saying you’re not a professional, but I think if people are giving you custom orders - you’re a professional! And that wood grain tool is COOL! I continue to be amazed by your work - thanks for sharing💕. ~Linda
Awwww haha I guess you have a point!! Yes the wood grain tool is so handy!!
Sooo it must be called a wood grain tool, I just read the message below mine, correct me if I'm wrong please.
Wonderful job Shayna looks great ! 🌞 thankyou for sharing

These are beautiful Shayna! Last summer I done an old dresser almost exactly like this and it is so beautiful! I’m so glad o didn’t throw it away like I was going to. It’s now being used in my craft room. Thank you so much for sharing this! 😊💕🌸

What is the paints did you use. Thanks
I showed most of the paints I used in the video. But they were all Dixie belle products & minwax stains & sealers!
These end tables turned out BEAUTIFUL!!!!! You do such an amazing job creating or redoing these pieces! Just stunning!
Awww thanks so much Detria! Maybe that will help you will some of your projects you were wanting to do!
@@ShaynaRobinson most definitely answered a few questions that were lingering around and it gave me some amazing ideas! I’m basically wanting to do my pieces like you done these tables! Thanks for sharing this video and for all your help! 💖

Hi Shayna 🎨 I reDid a friend's, late sister's 80 cherry wood head board into a chair for the cottage . Your method seemed to work out pretty good.
Thanks again, I wish I could show you a pic 📸 I think she would be happy with the results

Awww that’s so awesome! I’m glad it worked out!
I think the tables came out AMAZING and even look better than the picture you were asked to match. I washed you lived near me so you could do some work for me: I have an antique pie safe, 2 antique sewing machines, antique ice box, butter churn and a very old China cabinet, all of these pieces are from my family.
Awwww thanks! Those pieces all sound so nice!! 🖤
Awesome job!
Thank you!
Beautiful
Love these! Think I might try to do this with bedside table
Thanks!! Yeah do it!!
@@ShaynaRobinson I will share photo with you when done
@@craftswithkim9576 that will be great!
You did a great job.
Thank you!
Tables look great! How do you get the table to not yellow after using the polycrylic? I seem to have a problem with that.
Thanks! Shoot! I’ve never noticed polycrylic to yellow! So I guess I don’t have any good advice for that!
Wonderful. I have a very large coffee table. It is same color of the tables you just did. I think I would like to try what you did. But my couch and over stuffed chair is white back ground, is this too much white in the room?
I would say that it wouldn’t be too much white!! But I like everything to pretty much be white! If you follow me on IG! My whole dinning room is basically white!
They turned out beatiful what was that tool u you used called ? It had the red handle
Thanks! It’s a wood graining tool!
SUUUPEEERB !!!🥳🥳🥳
Thanks!
Great job! That tool you made the wood grain w .. Do you have to use that on wet stain ?
Yes it has to be wet still! Thanks!
Oh my beautiful job. I bought a pair of end tables with a glass top. But I got to diy and sell on fb. Or have my daughter do it. Their black but I was gonna put either a white chalk paint or a creamer looking one and distress down to see some of the black. Do you think that would be pretty?
Yes absolutely! That would look so good! The black come through will look awesome!!
Hi, I'm new at crafting, I haven't even done any yet I just got all the material I need cause I'm doing 2 intables, almost like the 2 you did in the video. I was wondering what was that tool called you used on the top of the end tables? I've been watching lots of videos to try in learn some and get ideas, cause I have no clue what I'm doing lol. Like you said trial and error, right? BTW I love how those end tables came out, their absolutely beautiful.....
Thanks so much! Yeah it’s called a wood u grain tool! The one I used it Dixie belle brand but I think they have them on Amazon too!
❤
Really liked this. I want to learn to distress, I’m just a bit leary.
Pretty
What is a wood grain tool? . Where do you get it. What your brand?
Dixie Belle sells one! That’s the one I used!
Dixie Belle is amazing 🤩
It is great!
What’s your paintbrush choice for applying the chalk paint?
Oh shoot I forgot to mention! I use the Dixie belle angle mini! It’s a very smooth brush!
