I think with coaching, they will tell guys like Jeanty and Scattebo that the 2nd effort is great, but you also have to think about situational football. When you get into the red zone, especially within the last ten yards until you score a TD, you’ve gotta protect the ball.
Or the rest of the class at WR, QB, IOL, DT, high end EDGE, CB, etc is weak AF… nah it’s best I’ve seen since the kenneth walker draft in 22’ I think???
It's a really good class but the class of 2017 as prospects is hard to beat, Dalvin Cook, Alvin Kamara, McCaffery, Fournette, Joe Mixon, Kareem Hunt, Donta Foreman, James Conner, Samaje Perine, Tarik Cohen , Aaron Jones, Chris Carson ,

taj Brooks from TTU should be in this list. Set all school records and at 5’ 11” and 230 pounds is a natural downhill runner and an adequate receiver out of the backfield
Skattebo is a fan favorite!!! Not just ASU fans but pure football fans all over the country! Hope he has a good Senior Bowl, I think he's playing in it.
He can’t stop puking from lack of conditioning and couldn’t be on the field on third and have to have it due to this. No thanks. Hell be like bo scarborough in the nfl he’s not really fast and falls forward but bad conditioning leads to injuries and when guys like Roquan smith hit you instead of college guys you get stuffed like you did v Texas. Only reason why he succeeded vs Texas was ASU has a very mobile QB that had their D on the field the entire damn game and they softened up. Credit him for that but cmon bro puking at 19 carries??????

Skattebo has everything except elite speed. He has vision, good acceleration, patience, agility, and extreme power. Broshmo you missed all of these traits. That is why you can't explain his production. You can build an offense around Skattebo and Jeanty. The other guys are just good players playing in the offense. @ozzey5246 Absolutely no shot. Chase Brown played well and their defense was SO TRASH that they broke records for most losses with 33 points Skattebo would be awesome but they need defense 100x more than a RB & he won't be there in the 3rd round.
Ollie Gordon is my favorite he may not have had the same season as last year but he has great vision and a good recidivism back with great size at 6”2 225 lbs
I'm not a fan but that guy has weird long arms for a rb. I think they measured him at almost 34 inch arms at the senior bowl and 230 lbs. I just think he lacks speed and not as powerful as some other NFL backs with that size.
Great stuff, Bro-shmo! I’m with you, I have always loved the bowling ball-type runners. That’s one thing I really like about Jeanty, is his ability to bounce off would-be tacklers AND his outstanding stiff arm. My team, Dallas needs an outstanding starting RB and I expect them to take one in the first 3 rounds. I’m hoping they get a speed Back early and then double-dip and take a real physical Back in the Fifth Round. Unless they take Jeanty because he has it all.
Skatt has amazing football speed and instincts. It was a privilege and honor watching him at ASU this year. He’s different and you can build an entire offense around him. Who ever takes him will get the intangibles and innate desire of an underdog that will fight and produce amazing results. Bank it. I just hope he goes to a better team than my AZ Cardinals with a good ownership.

The way I see Cam Skatebo is a late 2nd to early 3rd round pick. That is what I would list him after that Texas game but the Penn State runningback Singleton might take that spot with a similar performance against Notre Dame in the playoffs.
As a Commanders fan, our offense is at a whole other level when both B-Rob & Ekeler are healthy to complement each other. McNichols has been good but C-Rod is the perfect change of pace back, kind of a blend of their 2 styles. It might be counter the current NFL thinking with position value, but the difference in effectiveness is wide enough that IMO we should use this class to add TWO RBs and Carry 5 on roster. A redundancy for B-Rob and Ekeler in Skillset/playstyle. Kaleb Johnson, Gordon, Mullings or Martinez to backup B-Rob and Skattebo, Singleton, or Giddens for Ekeler. We could sign away Pittsburgh's backfield too, with Najee & Warren both FAs
Fun fact: RJ HARVEY only played rb for 3 years ( back to back Big 12 all conference) since transferring to UCF from Virginia. Dude is a beast and will climb up draft boards! Also the Harvey family are super great people!
Jeanty Reminds Me Of Alvin Kamara, But He Runs Harder/ Heavier. I Always Viewed Kamara As A Light Runner, Running On His Toes. With Good Balance And Leg Strength.
Skattebo reminds me of Mike Alstot but even more talented. I would love to see him on the Bucs! He and Buckey Irving would be an absolute 2 headed monster.
For real though I started made my annual Madden draft class today and it took me like 2 hours just to do the RBs cuz I had to put like 20 guys in the class. I still have Ollie as a 3rd rounder I still think he is gonna be that guy.

This video was straight up amazing!! You went into great depth on all 15 players. I made two offseason trades last year for there 1st round picks what did the picks turn into? The 1st and 2nd overall picks in our dynasty rookie draft where I will definitely take Jeanty at 1 and one of Hampton or Johnson with the 2nd pick. Leaning Hampton slightly over Johnson currently, but if one is in a more favorable situation that could sway me on who I take with the 2nd pick.
Oklahoma State's run blocking was bad at the end of 2023 when they faced better teams. In 2024 the run blocking was among the worst in college football.
Bro. Your content would be dope .... if you showed a few highlights. Just staring at a still photo and listening to you talk ..... got old before I finished. Nothing is better than the "eye test" IMHO
If you show clips or highlights then the video will be more than likely demonetized. I've tried this in the past and got hit with copyright. If the video doesn't make money then I won't make the video.
Reason why I have Judkins in my top 5 is I think he wanted to go to a place where he didn’t have to be the man. I think he knows almost no matter what he will be a day 2 pick. Also going in now gets you to that second contract a year earlier. I think he was happy in his role at Ohio St he didn’t have to deal with the wear and tear of getting a butt load of touches. I don’t think he wanted to get hurt. I think the plays they had him run were the tough yard plays. I am lower on Henderson just because of the injury concerns. They bring in a back in Judkins to take the burden off of him and it paid off. I don’t see Henderson as an every down back in the NFL but he will work great as a 1-2 punch for a team like Denver that already has Audric Estime that can get the tough yards and let Henderson be the counter to Estime and it could be very exciting to see in a situation like this. I was call Jeanty the best back in college football last year. When he played against UW early in the 2023 season I told my buddy this kid is super explosive and he definitely has my antenna up. Watch for this guy to get better and better. I believe that year on all 50 targets that came his way he never dropped any of them that touched his hands. Omarion Hampton is a stud work horse back. He ran behind one of the worst O-Lines out of the power 4 conferences. A lot of people were curious how he would do without Drake Maye as his QB well that question was answered with flying colors. Not only did he still dominate but he did it with I believe the 3rd string QB for most of the year. Just phenomenal!! I believe Singleton is just better built for the NFL and he was in a committee at Penn State with Kaytron Allen who is just a hammer in his own right. But I will be very curious to see where he ends up. Maybe he stays in Pennsylvania and plays with the Steelers??
The most complete back is Scattebo in that he can run between the tackles, pass block in pro sets, catch out of the backfield, and wears the Defense down. He should be at # 2 because he PRODUCED against the top team, in the biggest game, when his whole team was being outclassed, and almost WILLED them to victory. That's 49ers material where we need a decisive runner that's not trying to dance & can pass block on 3rd downs or catch a pass. We should trade Deebo & bring this guy in with McCaffrey.. Unfortunately, we need O-Linemen ALOT more than we need RBs in this draft.
My top 10 excluding Travis Hunter 1 Tet McMillan 2 Luther burden 3 emeka egbuka 4 Tre Harris 5 Jalen Royal 6 Isaiah Bond 7 Evan Stewart 8 Elic ayomanor 9 Xavier restrepo 10 Kyren Lacey My honorable mention though Savion Williams the Wr version of taysom hill he can do it all
2007 Draft, Michael Bush, Marshawn Lynch, Adrian Peterson, Chris Henry, Ahmad Bradshaw,,,,, 1990 draft,,, Blair Thomas, Emmitt Smith, Rodney Hampton, Barry Foster, Brian Mitchell, Harold Green, Leroy Hoard, Chris Warren
2008 draft - Matt Forte, Chris Johnson, Ray Rice, Jamaal Charles, Jonathan Stewart, Darren McFadden, Felix Jones, Peyton Hillis, Justin Forsett, Tim Hightower, Rashard Mendenhall
Cam Scattebo is another Rocky Bleier ....if you do not know who that is Google him....Rocky is Cam Cam is Rocky.......they are both the same size and both played football the same way.
To help a young Quarterback, Who is the best combination QB Protecter, Pass Blocker, Bailout pass target, inside running tackle breaker, with outside speed and home run potential?
I'm hoping my Bears take a RB thumper in 4th round or later . We've got Roshon Johnson for that role, but he can't stay injury free. I'd like Scattebo, but he's received a lot of attention lately .
Crossing fingers Raiders draft Skatt. I’m hedging my bets he’s going to be successful. He has tools and is a natural runner. He doesn’t need to run a 4.4. He made big plays in big moments. All round team leader. Gimme more of that.
As much as I want Jeanty for my Boys, we need to learn the lesson of not drafting an RB in the 1st round, especially after Zeke. Jeanty is good, but he played the equivalent of community colleges in the Mountain West. With how deep this draft is, I would rather wait til the 2nd or 3rd and grab Henderson or Singleton, if he declares
@@angelrosario626 They will need to do something! They fell off compared to last season! The injury bug bit them good! I was hoping McCarthy wouldn't be retained, but it looks like Jerry will keep him on the sidelines. I think McCarthy is kinda washed up! Jerry needs to really get some new, fresh blood to lead this team! I am glad Zeke is gone! He didn't last long, as the Chargers were eliminated Saturday. I doubt they will keep him. If Dallas can draft Jeanty, they will get him. Dallas has the #12 pick. The problem is, those two top running backs, Jeanty, and Omarion Hampton out of North Carolina, are in danger of going earlier than #12.
Your list is pretty good with who is where but the draft projections have all of them getting drafted a round higher than where they should you have 10 backs with a 3rd round grade or better and being how this draft is super loaded at rb its super deep at the rb position is also gonna push guys down the board too cus teams know they can wait on drafting a rb till day 3 but either way the overall draft ranking ypu have them is every single guy is a round higher than what they are gonna go in the draft
@@Broshmo explain the numbers for Brooks then over so many of the others? Tech has an OK line, not bad but several other teams are much better with their line.
Honestly, if Skattebo converts to a FB, he'll always be in the pro bowl for one, and he is very physical. Problem I have about him IS that he is too physical. He'll hurt himself and reduce his career because of it so him going to FB will keep him available but that's just me.
Ollie G having gained weight and the worst run blocking in football will make a running back look pedestrian - getting in trouble only shows future potential issues from bad character -

Great big back class, cant wait to see who the Chargers get! ⚡
It probably be pain in the butt, but if you could put a couple clips for each player that’d be elite
It's not a pain. It's just that the video gets demonetized anytime I try to include clips.
You should put highlights of the players while you talk about them in the bottom right hand corner
Showing highlights would demonetize the video. I have tried in the past and gotten hit with copyright.
My top 10
1- Ashton Jeanty
2- Omarion Hampton
3- Kaleb Johnson
4- Quinshon Judkins
5- Nicholas Singleton
6- Cam Skattebo
7- Treyveyon Henderson
8- DJ Giddens
9- Dylan Sampson
10- Bhayshul Tuten
Cam is a True KC Chief.. Loves Football and wants to be great
The most complete back is Scattebo in that he can run between the tackles, pass block in pro sets, catch out of the backfield, and wears the Defense down.
Dude isn’t close to the 2nd back he’s a turtle
Can you do a WR group next ?? Love the vids!
My top 10 excluding Travis Hunter
1 Tet McMillan
2 Luther burden
3 emeka egbuka
4 Tre Harris
5 Jalen Royal
6 Isaiah Bond
7 Evan Stewart
8 Elic ayomanor
9 Xavier restrepo
10 Kyren Lacey
My honorable mention though Savion Williams the Wr version of taysom hill he can do it all
2007 Draft, Michael Bush, Marshawn Lynch, Adrian Peterson, Chris Henry, Ahmad Bradshaw,,,,,
1990 draft,,, Blair Thomas, Emmitt Smith, Rodney Hampton, Barry Foster, Brian Mitchell, Harold Green, Leroy Hoard, Chris Warren
2008 draft - Matt Forte, Chris Johnson, Ray Rice, Jamaal Charles, Jonathan Stewart, Darren McFadden, Felix Jones, Peyton Hillis, Justin Forsett, Tim Hightower, Rashard Mendenhall
2017 draft
Leonard Fournette Christian McCaffrey Dalvin cook Joe Mixon Alvin Kamara Kareem Hunt James Connor Tarik Cohen Aaron Jones
@@Savagebandz5150 , good list. Is Fournette retired? He kinda dropped off the face of the Earth.
Damien Martinez physicality would be a perfect fit for Washington Commanders offnese. Something they could use for there offense.
Cam Scattebo is another Rocky Bleier ....if you do not know who that is Google him....Rocky is Cam Cam is Rocky.......they are both the same size and both played football the same way.
RJ Harvey is like a lesser Saquan Barkey without the elite speed. But he is a guy that will suprise.
The Broncos should pick two RBs this year. Stack the stable with talent.
cam skattebo replaces christian mccaffrey @ san francisco? teaming up with brock purdy & deebo is back to having trifecta power rangers on offense!
You are underrating Damien Martinez.
Probably
To help a young Quarterback, Who is the best combination QB Protecter, Pass Blocker, Bailout pass target, inside running tackle breaker, with outside speed and home run potential?
I'm hoping my Bears take a RB thumper in 4th round or later . We've got Roshon Johnson for that role, but he can't stay injury free. I'd like Scattebo, but he's received a lot of attention lately .
Johnson and Singleton would be good, too . But doubtful they last to the 4th round .
Crossing fingers Raiders draft Skatt. I’m hedging my bets he’s going to be successful. He has tools and is a natural runner. He doesn’t need to run a 4.4. He made big plays in big moments. All round team leader. Gimme more of that.
@@SAMLEE-dd6rq As a Chargers I hope they do. You guys are lucky Bowers fell to you. That guy is a stud.
Kaleb johnson is my RB to look forward to
Want him for the Vikes.
Marcus Yarns will shock a lot of people
I could see someone falling in love with Cam from a football mindset perspective and take him in the first.
Skat is so fun to watch but man he looks so slow. He might run a 4.7. I think if he can get below 4.65 thats a really good time for him.
Skattebo is like Craig James.
Skattebo is more like Maurice Jones Drew!
I got Harvey as my #5 back 🔥🔥🔥🔥😂💯
Are we worried at all about Ashton’s huge amount of carries before even getting to the league
Pray Minny gets one of these guys.
Jeanty is slated to go to the Cowboys with that pick #12. I think he could go earlier than that! Same with Hampton!
Dallas needs to draft at least two RBs. You heard!
@@coolcatrick3454 I agree with you wholeheartedly. This is a deep running back class. Dallas has four 5th-round picks, they can select a good RB then.
I do believe Edward’s from Michigan is going to be a good pro rb. Plays a lot like Kamara
Hope broncos get a top 5 RB. We need a RB who can be a receiver too
Good video, but you always throw age in the profile. For dynasty, that’s a huge factor. Especially in RBs
I'll have their ages in my final rankings
Your list is pretty good with who is where but the draft projections have all of them getting drafted a round higher than where they should you have 10 backs with a 3rd round grade or better and being how this draft is super loaded at rb its super deep at the rb position is also gonna push guys down the board too cus teams know they can wait on drafting a rb till day 3 but either way the overall draft ranking ypu have them is every single guy is a round higher than what they are gonna go in the draft
No Bhasyshul Tuten or Thaj Brooks? Major oversight
Tuten is a fumbling machine and Brooks is slow
@Broshmo lol. Ok
Those numbers for Jeanty are f**king bonkers.
Dylan Sampson got snubbed. He's 100% the 3rd best RB in this class
You don't know that
Skattebo is an early second round talent.
Love Kaleb Johnson.
I’m still high on Ollie Gordon. It all comes down to fit and opportunity. I’m the right spot, RBs are a dime a dozen. Ollie can crush it in San Fran.
until he inevitably gets hurt like they do in San Fran haha
@ true. Plus any RB can produce in that system. Gurrendo will do great if he stays healthy.
Ollie G having gained weight and the worst run blocking in football will make a running back look pedestrian - getting in trouble only shows future potential issues from bad character -
This is a solid list but Kaytron Allen deserves to be here imo
I love Fatman, but a power back with a low miss tackle rate is a hard sell for me
What u think of rocket Sanders out of south Carolina
He is a big pinball with good long speed
@Broshmo what round u seem him get drafted
Mid Day 3
