- A VERY requested and hot topic! I made a video that shows the different patches and settings I use to create the guitar tone and effects I have used for the last 12-13 years! Tune in for this 12 minute journey with me!🎶🥂

it's wild because people always talked about how easy or simple the songs are but it's deceptive and way more thoughtful that given credit and still decade plus later no one really has the signature Emmure sound, groove, vibe, etc. Love the vids!

Dude, I love that you still have that white Ibanez. I booked Emmure at what I believe was your guys’ first show in Albany, NY in this kids garage he called “the mud pit” and I remember you letting me check it out and showing me how you filled in the neck pickup cavity, etc. I remember I used to bug you on AIM to book you guys to come play my shows with My Bitter End all the time, haha.

I recently retired my 6505+ and started using a friedman IRX, lets me do modern stuff like going direct with IR’s, i still use a duncan power stage and a cab to push some air on stage. Tube preamp, digital backend, best of both worlds
Saw you on all stars 2011. I’ve seen and played hundreds of shows and you still have the best guitar tone i have ever heard.

I disagree. He's said something about Engl, so Das Metal = The Metal, Engl is German-made, so the guy who did the preset must'd been rofling about Fireball. His sound is very much Fireball + screamers

I appreciate that! It is tough to say. We both went on about our lives and lots have changed for me over the last 9 years that I am obligated to so it is very very unlikely sadly. Just the reality of time moving forward!

Maybe a studio collaboration to make an album one day? Miss alot of your style on the last two albums!
Love the AxeFX so much. Makes me want to dust mine off and play through it for the first time in years. Never tried to program my own tones through it. That's a whole PhD course I just can't commit the time to, plus most of the sounds are great right out of the box. Thanks for the video and continued inspiration!

I second this. Please cover everything tbh especially the deep cuts. So many songs have never even been played live! I'd love to see them all.
Il do my best to get around to as many as I can! The reality of it is - many MANY songs were written, recorded and never played live so they went to the back of the memory bank and need to be 100% completely re-learned. Especially since some of those songs were recorded 10,12,14,15 years ago!🎉

@jessekjamz ah man you could do one every 6 months and I'd lose it every time you post. Love the content love the music. Sad about the ones that never got played live, I jam them daily. The entire emmure catalog is pretty untouchable to me, every single song is a fucking banger. Cept maybe poltergeist but even that song I don't skip when I put on slave to the game lol

Does it matter where you put both tube screamers? Could I put them next to each other. And just do a gate before both and after both. Or should it be gate, screamer, gate screamer?
Interesting seeing the setup that makes the sound so unique. If you get a chance a duel play through of young, rich and out of control coupled with sound wave superior would be amazing. Cheers Jesse

any chance you’d be able to upload these tones for us to download? i just got an axe fx 2 and this is pretty much exactly what i want but im not familiar enough to put all these settings in myself? 😅
I am not even sure how to do this myself lol. I would say to follow along and setup the effect chain like mine and take some time messing with the axe fx and tweaking!

Loving the video! Btw, Did u have a live cab on the stage when you play with the band? And How to connect voodoo lab ground control to Fractal Axe-FX II?
Thanks! Yep we used a cab for some reference noise/air to move - but we used another output direct to the monitors that had the patch with the cab simulation in it nice and loud. The ground control is connected to the back of the axe fx with a 7 pin midi cable🎉
