      I don’t think so. Mainly because all the computations to model the formation of the Solar System, show a planet being ejected.
      Hope I’m wrong though. A planet out there would be so cool.

    Never change the intro music ever again. It’s perfect. Would be great to have another 20 seconds of it. Your shows should always be at least an hour. The Avi show was probably the best show I have heard you do. The production after recording and adding in trippy music when guests are taking is amazing. @@EventHorizonShow Same here! I find myself in a weird place of liking it both because of trance-like ASMR quality AND because of interesting sci-fi concepts, AND awesome guests speaking about science. If anything in my media consumption is constant, that is your stuff, sir (weirdly, no books though, sorry to say that). It's been more than a year, if I'm not mistaken... weird. You must find it weird, too. Could you be a 3D projection of a 4D memespace overlord latching onto weak humans' brains? You can never tell, because you're a projection, and, if there is a PURPOSE in your existence, it's just beyond. I'm starting a cult, okay? Just in case you are a slice of a higher-dimensional octopus... thing. I wouldn't wanna make the octopus angry. In 4, 5D this entity is known as John Michael Octopus, and for mortals it might seem like a stupid worldplay, but the higher world order is this cruel, and this nature of the entity protects faith. Infidels may laugh at my belief in John Michael Octopus and think I just made it up. No shit one would think so. John Michael Octopus would never excuse such transgression. For this very reason even his projection can display infidelity.
      The space itself speaks calmly, yet with dry confident vigor:
      "Ten ways I will mutilate souls of ones who oppose Me, be it 2, 3, 4, 5 or 7,5D. Number one..."
      Throughout dimensions, those who possess the knowledge, kneel before John, and in return he talks them to sleep.

      If this estimate of 5x earth mass is close even to within a couple orders of magnitude, then the mass is no where near enough to be a brown dwarf. Lower limit on mass of a drown dwarfs is about 3000 earth masses.

    If 'planet 9' exists there is another option - it could be a captured rogue planet. Although the dynamics of capturing an independent body make that unlikely current estimates suggest interstellar space contains at least as many such bodies as star systems.

  • @jackreisewitz7219

    There seems to be significant speculation that our solar system is passing through the region of space in which a super nova once occurred. If that's correct, it seems to me the chance that planet nine was captured just rose dramatically

    Would it not make sense if there was a collision (ancient time) and it got bumped into a intersecting orbit. The oort cloud rubble would make sense if it was a planet that crashed into one of the satellites, or similar. Its described by several ancient civilizations that had no interaction. (Tiamat, is one Name for it)
    What speaks of that it exists is that its actually listed in Nasas catalogue of celestial objects. Its listed as a small solar system.. and I’m pretty sure they don’t list fantasies...

    who said the simplest, elegant solution is usually right? maybe I look at the evidence with a bias, but a large distant body sure is an elegant explanation for our observations of the outer solar system

  • @jhamilton07
    @jhamilton07 3 роки тому +1

    I wonder if anyone ever calculated for the possibility that the outer planets are perturbed from our perspective because of the same gravitational lensing effect like we observe in Mercury but instead of it being high gravity like Mercury, it's lower gravity. Like looking down a hot road in the summer and the gravitational waves ripple our view when looking across it. Like the difference in the rate, for lack of a better term, is what's causing them to look like they're in a place that they're actually not and that could explain why they never seem to be where we expect them to be.
