I believe that it might. Perhaps it signals in different directions in a pattern and eventually it will return to us. I have been fascinated with the WOW signal since I first heard about it years ago.
I think the way that frb were described (in the beginning of the video) as being (maybe) coming from outside of the milky-way is really interesting. I think it's a natural phenomenon, an energy discharge.
Certainly. Like pulsars and quasars, bursts of electromagnetic radiation emanating from newly discovered natural phenomena will continue to be detected. Maybe even a radio burst from an artificial source might one day be detected.

@@EventHorizonShow yeah I know, I've seen his other appearances here, but this one was really outstanding. Anyway, topic suggestions for next time he's on here: 1) star metallicity and how possible at how early, life was in the early universe (obviously first stars with basically no metallicity, couldn't host life, but like, when exactly did life become possible in our universe?). 2) the rarity (or scarcity) of extra-terrestrial life. Personally I think it's really black and white thinking on this one, and really no gray zones; either the universe is teeming with life, or it's not. And if the universe is teeming with simple life, it also means that intelligent life must be common, as a consequence. So that's my solution to the Fermi paradox: life is just extremely rare, so rare, that we actually might be alone (I don't think we are, but I wouldn't rule it out to be honest). 3) The rare Earth hypothesis. Yeah, you really need to discuss this one, just saying. And in-depth too. 4) Super-Earths and if we reached one, could we colonize it (as in, gravity conditions, atmospheric pressure and such). 5) Totani's space RNA study and how common it is for Earth-like planets to produce RNA (space RNA is uncommon for sure, but is RNA really scarce on Earth-like planets?). On that note, you should also touch on the RNA World hypothesis, which in my opinion is as of right now, the best abiogenesis explanation. 6) Last but not least, the rarity of abiogenesis, and how difficult it is with a successful abiogenesis (the Miller-Urey experiment and more recent abiogenesis attempts); abiogenesis isn't as easy as star formation you know ;)
I was under the impression that the habitable zone for light and energy of a dwarf is problematic to life.. because its so close that unfortunately it leaves the planet vulnerable plus it would be tidally locked.. and there would be an issue around the radiation being more in the longer wavelength.
I was also waiting for them to address these two problems. They discussed early on the issue of the type of lower energetic light from a red drawf. I was expecting them to address the other problem with red dwarfs. These are two plausible and strong objections to the possibility of life, especially complex life, occuring around these types of stars.
