Hey everyone! I had so much fun making this video for you guys, so I’ve decided to make a series playing through all the Prince of Persia games. I hope you all stay tuned to check them out
The only problem with this game was the lack of enemies, there were no foot soldiers, only bosses. And you couldn't die, so there really wasn't any point in being careful while fighting. It was just so repetitive. The graphics still hold up even today and I hope more games use this art style. The story was meh.
The thing with this game is that there is no death. Therefore no fear. There's also the fact of the og trillogy fans being well...og trillogy fans. There's also the paywall on the ending that also didn't help. But this game is super cool, with gorgeous visuals and amazing platforming. It's really sad it never got a sequel, then we git that awful Forgotten Sands and now there's that supposed remake in limbo. PoP deserver better...but sadly all it has it's Ubisoft.😢
@@AllzaoMaximus and now we have 2 new Prince of Persia timelines releasing this year and it’s suddenly becoming so saturated. A sequel or remaster of this game today could give us some of the most stunning visuals we’ve ever seen, but unisoft be playin😔
Not even sure if being unable to die is necessarily the problem or the only problem here. It's just what immediately comes to mind comparing it to its predecessors. It was established early on that Elika gets drained by using magic, but in gameplay she can spam it all day. She can fly in and save you from falling anywhere, anytime, as many times as you need her to, but for some reason she can't drop you to the next destination when it would be easier or more convinient to do so or just... fly you around because why not. Enemies recover a bit when you fall in battle, which I don't remember ever being acknowledged in-universe. There is even the classic contradiction of the plot telling you to hurry up before something bad happens, but during gameplay you have all the time in the world to dilly dally around. Everything contextualizing the fail states in this game is extremely contrived or self-contradicting, which is going to rub you the wrong way if you care about story at all, although you still lose progress just the same.
I 100% this game as a kid. And while it was fun every percent I was asking myself why I wasnt playing ''the real'' prince of persia games lol The main thing that I really hated is how you cant die. And combat is soo pointless too. The one thing that kept me playing was the movement which was fun.
@@SilentEvil97 same here. Although I finished the two thrones last year and seeing the ending to that game it makes a lot more sense why they tried something new
The gameplay was definitely more innovative than the trilogy games. But there’s a shit ton of issues with the reboot hence it tanked in terms of popularity. Forgotten Sands was just pure nostalgia cash grab (the graphics look amazing tho ngl)

nice! subbed just because of it
Remember playing this game. I liked the visuals, but couldn't finish it. It didn't grab me, despite my trying.

It looks like a basic mobile game. With a kind of Zelda vibe.
That don't look like any prince of persia I've ever seen. That look like Altair 😂
I think the combat is improved version of prince of persia 3d
that would make sense
this is the only POP game I loved, visual and bgm are amazing and beautiful
Seriously bad taste bruh😂

resident evil 4 is the goat

Graphics are great but the prince’s design was horrible😂
It's a horrible game.
@@janjic better than forgotten sands
No it's not , it's pretty fun
@@vivekkparashar6369 It's the opposite of fun. Watching it on UA-cam is fun, because it has amazing graphics and sounds. Playing it is a chore.
@@LukeCliftonYT Might be, I haven't played Forgotten Sands yet. But it's far worse than all previous games, including Warrior Within.
@@janjic I felt the same when it came out, but I really do like the character composition and world building. Even if the combat is very dry
