Z.... thought i would take a chance and take a step into the danger zone! And i do have have them in my garage!! listening to digital through a Schitt Modi, then through a Yamaha receiver, treble turned down -6, and a Klipsch Rw-10d sub at 60hz. They sound good, great for a garage. They are fun... very nice wide sound stage and perfect for listening when playing yard games in the front yard. They can get very loud, neighbors don’t seem to mind. Thanks... good sound and great application. People cant believe the output of these little monitors. Gave me a chance to re-purpose my Klipsch R-82’s and McIntosh ML-1c’s. Thanks again.

Heard hissing noise when hooked up with home theater set which is near alot of wireless gear!
However when I hooked them up to a new bluedento alone in bathroom, no noise, epic sound. So you need to take care of interference from other devices.

Hi Zeos. Pleasure to write you. I need a big favour from you. Please, gimme a quick advice about budget bookshelf speakers cause I can´t stand anymore jumping from branch to branch. All that I´ve been doing is just sidegrades. I won´t ask you kinda of question like speaker A or Speaker B? or this kind of aproach. Instead, I want to take advantage of your huge expertise and ask you to list 3 or 4 budget speakers ($400). I tend to like open, forward and bright highs, detailed but not agressive mids, and taut and fast bass, not necessarily deep, because my kind of music is rock and hard rock most of the time. Besides, a good soundstage and imaging will be welcome. Now I have Elac B6.2, but I miss brighter highs. Thank you a lot. Say hello to Chewbaca.

The only problem I had with these was with the gain at center the noise floor is too high. They hiss like crazy. I hope they fixed that with the newer versions.
Also Stage Right seems to be monoprice's "Professional" brand, they sell PA speakers and pro cables under that name.

I bought them based on this review. The hiss is real! It’s loudest with the volume knob at 12 o’clock but quieter at low and high (with or without input). People blame poor potentiometer, amps, dried up capacitors, Obama. Maybe for that block party Zeos is throwing, it doesn’t really matter ;) I am keeping these!

Hi Z. I am a recently made wanna-be audio enthusiast (haven't spent anything in it yet)...
I am building a computer and I think I know what headphones to buy. But I want some good speakers for music/gaming as well. (More for music)
And from your videos in which I see you mix and matching speakers (I loved the Fluance two direction speakers and your explanation on why those are great for that fuzzy sound locating).
Question: Is there something ..like a central hub...one could buy, which would then allow me to build a 5.1 channel surround setup out of speakers of different sizes etc of MY OWN choice instead of just buying a 5.1 sSpeakers system.
I am essentially asking what a hand picked set of 5 speakers and a sub-woofer would need to be connected to... to make them form up into a system. AND then be connected to a PC.

I used your above link and grabbed up a pair of these for that amazing price. I also managed to get an additional $10 off using Honey! WTF!!!! =) Effing amazing deal. I'm going to see how they work in my desktop 5.1 powered monitor setup and use them for the rears, .... very far away rears, lol. Even if I don't end up using them I can probably sell them and make a small profit as long as I sell locally and don't have to mail them. By the way, shipping was also free!!! I paid just over $90 with all the sweet discounts. Thanks Z! I also purchased the dbx go-Rack back when you reviewed it. Got it for $30-$40 bucks on Amazon and how much is it selling for now? lol I've seen it go for anywhere between $100 and $400!!!!

Just hooked em up and I have zero hum as others have complained about. I don't know if it has anything to do with the pair of monitors I received or if it has to do with my hardware. Scarlett 2i4 to DBX goRack to my little Dot for my headphones. Right now these are sitting on top of my Yamaha HS5's for testing. They definitely have more bass but they (SR's) color the sound a bit more and are not nearly quite as flat as the Yamaha HS series. Still, for the price I got them for I'm super satisfied and glad I caught this one for it's great price! Thanks again Z! =)

Zeos you need to expand and buy out your neighbors. Or maybe give them free stuff. These canons must kill them too!

, I totally agree. at $100 bucks, if you want speakers to just play loud and sound good doing it and have on board amps, bingo. here ya go.
EVERY SPEAKER has a specific place and PURPOSE for playback of music. these fill a small nitch of need.
like the perfect campground, BBQ outdoor party speakers.

@@sanchezjesus369 Hi there I did eventually, but unfortunately the delivery price is $200 to the UK then I would have to pay Import tax also, so its not worth the trouble, but thanks anyway. Deek.
