Ooo...the things I've done in front of those guys 😂 sneaky pricks sometimes. Once I rocked a twelve foot folding ladder over onto two feet so I could reach a sprinkler head that I had to install at the top of a seven story elevator shaft. You know, instead of setting up baker scaffolding on either side and laying OSHA planks across it. But if I did THAT then I would have had to go two floors down and eat a TON of sh@t from the GD drywall pricks just to borrow their sh@tty stands for twenty minutes and I wasn't into that. Listen chief, I got 358 heads to install on THIS floor alone, ain't nobody got time for that 😂 But yeah, when I got down there was an inspector with about 3 of the formen watching me. He told me in twenty years the stupidest thing he'd ever seen. Just shook his head and walked away 🤣 I'm amazed I didn't get fired, no idea why not like I had connections or anything I was a grunt.
As a carpenter, the tape and mud guys are amazing. It truly is an art form, especially if they can do it well and quickly. I've always considered it and art for akin to sculpture artisans... it never dawned on me that it's more like a waltz.
You can't do it quickly and have a good quality. I've seen many guys rushing, and after it is all done and painted, you start seeing mistakes. These types of job you must do steady, not too slow but definitely not too fast. And it is not that deep as the comment above mine says, ,so calm down.
Used the Bazooka for 20 years. This kinda stuff just looks like bad practice and an accident waiting to happen, but hey I gave this up 25 years ago to save my back,it's a young mans game.
No effing way!!!! OSHA shut your ass down swishing around on a bucket like that. This dude is one bad-ass taping stud! Credit where credit is due. I am truly impressed.
Bazookas a back breaker and high maintenance, also almost needs to go to the car wash to get it properly clean after each use. My advice with the tube is to thin the mud, dip your finger in it, it should drip about once, maybe twice within 5-10 seconds, that's the sweet spot mud consistency for the tube.
At first, I wasn't sure why I clicked on this, since I'm not renovating my house and I know nothing about home renovation. But I think home renovation stuff is interesting. I've never seen the bucket walk, but I was surprised and not at all disappointed. Very interesting, time well-spent!
Legit same Process I do! Columbia mud tube with applicator, Including the bucket walk if I didn't bring stilts just make sure the lid is on the buckets folks👍
@@BoutThatAction 🤔 something tells me 2 things!!or makes me think 2 things! 1. You not even a drywall finisher if you are probably been at it a tomato season! 2. You can’t bucket walk! 🫠🫢🤭
Man if guys new how to run the bazooka, they would never go back to all these different ways of taping by hand. It takes a while to learn, lots of practice, but man it’s the way to go!
I did huge amounts of drywall and taping in my past and hated it but was good at it. There was something about the texture of the drywall itself that made my blood run cold.
Ahh man, i miss the days of walking on buckets ..can you believe I walked ontop of 3 in my prime.... My best firend who got me into doing drywall back in the kate 90s past away a year ago at 47... We worked together for 20 years finishing.. started off sanding after the finishers, and learned how to finish , then went piece work.. i want to go back part time, but cant see myself doing it without him.. awesome stuff man
I've done the 3 pails too, I wouldn't do it anymore though, not sure if my bones are as rubber as they used to be. Sorry about your friend, that's too young. I learned from my old Dad, I have a video of him on my channel of him running the bazooka at age 73, but now he's paralyzed from the waist down. I understand what you mean, but in my case it's all I know, and it's no longer feasible to switch careers.
Use to do that...2 broken ankles later... Back to the stilts. Had a guy that installed a couple straps with velcro on the tip of the strap to tighten and walked all over the place like it was part of his limps.
I need one of those moving buckets. Except I want mine to go in a straight line. The twisting bucket might be cheaper though. I'll hang up and listen to your answer.
I've seen guys standing on buckets but have never seen anyone weeble wobble on top of a bucket, I'm sure it could possibly just fly out from beneath you. 😂
You drywalling men are crazy. I saw buckets stacked up with unbelievable scoffing that work great in a tight stairwell but again you drywallers are crazy.
More impressed with those bucket skills 😝
That’s not safe lmao
It's easy
It's easy
That's what I'm sayn'. Cool new dance.
It only works on concrete floors... 😂
The old bucket walk, OSHA’S worst enemy.
O-h
S-hit
H-im
A-gain
Make sure he no catch you 😅
Only if you stack them two or three high.
Those hips don’t lie tho haha great skills man.

That's the 1st time i've seen anyone walk using a bucket........ totally brilliant and creative. 👍
Wtf, you sure you weren't in the circus or anything. Damn impressive.
Well there's one for my bucket list.
The bucket trick is pure genius.

Shit bro all I see around where I live is grey beards doing it bitching about not finding any young guys to do it haha
@@BoutThatAction yep ..too much like hard work I guess 😆
17 yrs drywalling was more than enough for me, the only thing I miss about it is the money
@@BESHYSBEES Agreed.. 😆

Love it when you use the tube. Nice for those of us who use and can’t afford a bazooka. Thank you!

@@Interior_Works very appreciated advise
@@Interior_Worksbasically for all mudding needs. Nothing sucks worse to spread than poorly mixed mud
I lost it when he did the Bucket Waddle...🤣🤣🤣

Use a tape knife for cutting clean corners and always do your wall corners first then ceilings, helps tuck it in. Looks good
I agree about the knife. It was hard to watch him hand tearing.
Sir, that will be the homeowners problem in 16 months, NOT his!
Legit same Process I do! Columbia mud tube with applicator, Including the bucket walk if I didn't bring stilts just make sure the lid is on the buckets folks👍
No fuckin shit Sherlock.
That right there is the equivalent to "make sure you have tires on your car before you drive it"

Is that what that is called he used to mud it -a Columbia mud tube with applicator?
🤣
That last one, with the bucket. That is pure genious!
Man if guys new how to run the bazooka, they would never go back to all these different ways of taping by hand. It takes a while to learn, lots of practice, but man it’s the way to go!
The bazooka is the way we’ve always done it & I could never go back now!💯 Well worth the money!

I did huge amounts of drywall and taping in my past and hated it but was good at it. There was something about the texture of the drywall itself that made my blood run cold.
These pros sure make it look easy.
I can't see me doing this 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
It's easier with a bazooka are bango
The way he shimmies on that bucket looks too funny. It looks like it works really good though.
Dang, he's magic on that bucket! YAS! 🪣😂
Very Inventive! Excellent skills with the bucket as well!!!

Oh geez. I really shouldn't do that anymore. I seen a guy strap milk crates to his feet once.
I love these guys. It's an art.
Cool tool and the bucket shuffle. All in the same video. Awesome.
the man is a good dancer😂😂😂
That’s Amazing 😮! Very talented! ❤
Guaranteed that guy doesn't work by the hour. Shows you what working by the job means. Great job.
Dude has skills!!💪🏼
Your a beast for that lol. Everyone have their way to be a pro! I like it!
Awesome job 👍👍
Nice bucket work !
Def some slick moves
I am a drywaller and mudder. This dude just made me hate my whole life of working at this.
The good old bucket shuffle
You looks like salsa rock star man lol. The bucket skills man LOL
Gotta get the new guy doing that one 😂😂
100% Eficiente y eficaz. Saludos desde México
Don’t try this while standing on a bucket. Accident waiting to happen.
You're a beast dude
He so far is the best drywaller !!!!!!!
Dude is very smooth and precise on his application of tape
Yoooooo like a boss bro! Here I am doing it for the first time like a total chump moving my step ladder every 2ft cause I'm short af 🤣🤣
Mate you are master of the bucket hah good work!
Thank you. Usually I wear stilts.
That bucket walk is too brilliant but I beg nobody do this on the job as it is going to result in major injuries lol.
Yo! The bucket walk! The moonwalk of the taper industry HEE-HEEEEEE! 😎
That's really slick I did it all by hand!!!
Damn, I have to do drywall work now and then and it takes me so damn long. This is incredible. Would definitely like a close up though…
Lmao 🤣 by the time OSHA showed up, he'd be done drinking a cup of coffee
Good job brother you rock!
Thank you!
Spot on one way to do it and its productive right
Damn I thought I was good with the bucket haha…. Props to this man
This was the most impressive so far
Could probably dry run bazooka like that too would be easy on joints
I think so too, was going to try it, first have to replace a couple parts on my bazooka to get it working again.
Come on baby!!! Lets do the twist!!!🎶
That bucket trick is a damn slick move
That was pretty slick.
Nice job, way I was taught n nice bucket skills! 👍😁
And one day this guy came to earth.
Boy it would have took me all day 😂
Me too..! Imagine getting paid prr project versus hourly. Knock them out like nothing
I was very impressed with the bucket
Great technique working on that bucket.
Wow! You’re amazing
Chulada son unos genios estos tipos
Nice work
Thank you
🤣🤣🤣 the bucket
I know 😄. I was just having fun. My pair of stilts were just leaning against the wall off camera

Skills like that will always have a job waiting
You don't learn that waiting for the bus!! Respect!!
Masterful
Nice bucket walk👏👏
I bucket walk pretty fast myself! I'd race you in a 100 metre dash
Thanks, lol, could be an Olympic sport. I did a stilt race once when I was younger, when I had rubber bones, but wouldn't try it today.
Workman's comp has left the chat.
His wife: baby I got you some stilts for Christmas. Him: 😒return them, then walk away on a bucket...😂🤣😆
Now that is how it's done
I need one of those moving buckets. Except I want mine to go in a straight line. The twisting bucket might be cheaper though. I'll hang up and listen to your answer.
nice job!

I like how you wiggle the 5 gallon bucket to get you across the floor!
He's a badass.
You r the best
That’s gangster 💯
New a drywaller that could walk down a hallway faster and quieter, on a bucket, than you could in your favorite slippers, when you gotta pee .
😮wow! Like a boss! ✊🏻👍🏻
that’s skillful of him walking an the pail like he is an the floor walking wow
