Never heard of your idea to drop some IPA beforehand, to reduce the surface tension before sealing it with watered down PVA. Clever. Do you think you could mix PVA, water and IPA or washing up liquid together into a single application? Either way, thanks for taking the time to share! Appreciated!
Thanks for watching Tony, I think that pva and water and washing liquid would work. I have tried adding ipa to the pva before and it went into a gel so might be best to avoid using that.

What's the height of the sponge you cut for 15mm ? About 15mm or more like 10mm High ?
Its not exactly a straight line but varies between 10-12mm.
