Hey, those corkboard stone walls are a great idea! Normally, wargames walls like that are a little too thick. those look terrific. One quick suggestion regarding your hills. If you make them really irregular around the base, they can double for islands in your naval games. Just a thought. Well done.
True, in 15mm the walls and other elements are usually too thick, and corkboard worked with a bit of art looks very good. Thanks for the suggestion with the hills, your comment has inspired me with the idea of using putty to make removable waves... It just occurred to me, I have to try it. Thank you very much for your comment!
It's not as nice and detailed as your dioramas, but I needed something modular and resistant to be manipulated and above all, cheap and quick to build. Thanks for your comment, that's why I started the channel, to give and receive ideas! And really thanks to it I have met creators like you who give me a lot of ideas!
@@MinisMyWay well, you've done a great job! I've looking for a way to build dirt roads and stone walls for my 15mm American civil war/flames of war/team yankee miniatures for a while now. This video helped me to feel confident enough to start building them!👍🙂
The difficult thing is to start, my project started with the idea of making just a few forests and in the end I was encouraged to do more things. I'm glad to have given you some ideas!
That is a bloody good looking table! I just got hold of some 15mm figures (haven't bought any in years) and need to start thinking about terrain for them. This gave me some really good ideas - the cork walls being one of them. Thank you.
@@MinisMyWay I have too many projects going on at once for comfort, but with any luck, I will find the cheapest and most clever way of making stuff. This video will go in my list of references, for sure.
Gràcies a tu!
Well, I'm in Spain, the kind of low-priced store here may not have the same products in your country. I found it in a Chinese bazaar, a friend found it some time ago at LIDL...I found this in Amazon Spain quite a bit more expensive than the one I got, but it looks exactly the same: www.amazon.es/casa-diferentes-alfombra-artificial-revestimiento/dp/B00W9OJX3U/ref=sr_1_13?keywords=moqueta+verde&qid=1669767657&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI1LjI1IiwicXNhIjoiNS4wMSIsInFzcCI6IjIuMDAifQ%3D%3D&sr=8-13 It's on Amazon Spain, but maybe with these clues you can locate it in your region, I hope so.
Surely manufactured in China, it must be traceable anywhere in the world. Sorry I can't help you more. Good luck! (By the way, how nice to be able to share the hobby with people who are so far away!)
This has way to many clicks! Great terrain! Maybe this will push me tontry it myself. You could left the cracks in the stone unfilled. Looks like lightning struck the stone🤔😅
XD Actually, here in Spain they are called "todo a cien" (all for a hundred), which no longer makes sense since the Euro replaced the pesetas, and the expression "Todo a 1€" has not been successful and is hardly used at least in my area. We also call them "el chino" (the Chinese) because they are usually run by citizens from China. I do not know the expression used in other countries, not even how it is said in other European countries, so I hope that "a dolar store" can be understood everywhere. This is something that intrigued me when I was editing the video, so I would appreciate comments telling me what it is called in your countries, just out of curiosity and for being able to name it so that it can be understood in other videos. Thanks for your comment and your observation!
The ones seen in the video are mainly from Legio Heroica www.legio-heroica.com/ The bad news is that the website has been "temporarily" closed for almost two years. There are other brands that offer similar figures of this era, I for example have used those of Lancer Miniatures lancerminiatures.com/product-category/18mm-war-spanish-succession/ and Khurasan Miniatures khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/marlburian.html that combine quite well with those of Legio Heroica. I buy them on their websites. Thanks for your comment!

Relaxing music, no annoying voice overs, trial and errors shown, final results laid out... man... THIS IS HOW YOU DO A TERRAIN VIDEO PEOPLE!!!!
Thank you very much! A very kind comment, I appreciate it.

The method of making the stone walls on that small scale is absolutely genius.
