- The Bee Gees were a pop music group formed in 1958. Their lineup consisted of brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb. The trio were especially successful as a popular music act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and later as prominent performers of the disco music era in the mid-to-late 1970s. The group sang recognisable three-part tight harmonies; Robin's clear vibrato lead vocals were a hallmark of their earlier hits, while Barry's R&B falsetto became their signature sound during the mid-to-late 1970s and 1980s. The Bee Gees wrote all of their own hits, as well as writing and producing several major hits for other artists.
The Bee Gees have sold over 220 million records worldwide, making them one of the world's best-selling artists of all time. The Bee Gees are the third most successful band in Billboard charts history after The Beatles and The Supremes.

I've been waiting since “79” for music to get great again, I guess it never will. The Bee Gees were the only group I followed since that time, and they stood the test of time, I know they are an untouchable group that we will never see the likes of again. PURE GOLD.

It’s Maurice singing, not Robin. And yes, it does. I like Barry and Maurice alone.
So sad. Barry was so devastated by Andy's death. This song is a real tearjerker and one of the best songs Barry has ever done. It was like they were cosmic twins.
But this song came out in 72, so Andy was pretty much alive by that time.

Voice coaches said with proper training Robin could have sung opera, he said voice lessons or even learning to read music would have made him different, not truly himself

Robin isn't actually singing on this as it's the studio recording. Written and performed by Barry & Mo. So guess you could say more or less Robin's a stand-up prop.😂

I recognize that I am one of the people who know the Bee Gees for their songs Stayin Alive, How Deep Is Your Love or Night Fever. But we forget that they have released other songs before.

Yes, Robin's lip syncing, while Mo's actually the one who really sang (& wrote) this with Barry. This is the actual studio recording, & Robin wasn't around then.🎼

I actually really like just Barry and Mo together. I like all their songs where they’re alone-including Tomorrow Tomorrow. Maurice would’ve gotten a lot more attention if it was just the two of them, too, and there would’ve been much less conflict. The Bee Gees could’ve done just fine without Robin coming back.
I think so too & love all the Cucumber Castle tracks.

@@kthor Yes. I’ve avoided Robin’s personal life drama. I haven’t been interested enough to dig, and I’ve heard enough to know I don’t care to. But what I have learned does help me to see things better.
The Gibbs have such an interesting story, and deceptively simple, until you start to see the soap opera beneath.
