In case anyone has to do the heater core as well, there is a huge time saving video on removing the heater core for this same vehicle. Search for Cherokee heater core hack.
I have an 08 jeep grand cherokee and fresh air comes in thru the vents so in the summer it causes problems. Is this what you are repairing because my actuator works fine? is there something else that lets fresh air into the truck?
There is a lot of torque to the blender door when it's closed, even with the stopper. It looks like the stopper should have stopped the rotation of the actiator a little bit before and this is maybe why the blend door get broken inside
Amazon has this for $9 shipped ordered it now & hopefully it fixes my 07 jgc Laredo which is a single heater not dual like his my clicking sound stopped and no heat for me I hope this $9 piece fixed it for me 🤞🏽
Do you know why only one of my air vents blows fresh (not cold) and the rest of the air vents blows hot? Also thanks i wasnt sure how to the to the passengers side on the drivers 👍
Question: My 2005 Grand Cherokee limited has dual zone. Drivers blows cold and warm perfectly. passenger only blows heat or room temp (Maybe slightly colder than room temp) air even when climate knob is turned to 60 degrees. any guesses on what i might need? plus, the website is not working for the parts you used.

Im having the same issue but on the drivers side is it the same procedure
There may be more hardware on the drivers side to work around but its likely the same mount.

@@lstruggy not for my model. I looked at this and there was nothing to fix the 2008 grand Cherokee blender.

My 06 Grand Cherokee is doing the same thing right now. Anyone have any helpful tips on fixing this issue?

My jeep is not a dual temp? Same blend door?
Not all Jeep models have the same HVAC setup. This is the dual climate system: the driver and passenger can pick different temperatures.

I just took mine apart and both the black piece and the white knob it connects to were broken
