Thanks for this! 'm new to Davinci and OBS. I want to use the video from OBS but I also recorded a video with my Canon, because the mic is better.
I want to extract the audio from the Canon file and sync it to the OBS video and I haven't gotten anywhere so far.
    Gonna try this, thanks again!

Hi, I need some help. I have to edit a short film with DaVinci Resolve. The audio recordings I received (wav) are split into multiple tracks. Is there a way to combine them all into a single file to avoid syncing each track individually?

Hi Mielz , this a great video i appreciated. I need help , when i try to synch i receive a message " No match was found when attempting to align these clips" what can be the issue ?

It’s sounding like it’s unable to match your external to your camera audio? You could get that problem if there’s a lot of background noise in the camera audio. But in controlled environments it shouldn’t be a problem. Be sure you’re hitting that audio icon before you sync

@@Mielz clips from canon R , some of them can Synch and some can not it is confusing. And also I recorded live music with the monitor NINJA V , the audio from Ninja v can not synch with external audio ( WAV) . I am looking for a link where I can read all the audio requirements for synchronization in Davinci resolve 18

Thanks for a very informative instructional video. I have a question about the syncing process in DV 18. You said that "if you have multiple clips you can select them all and clip them at the same time". my question is - do you mean that a single .wav file selected with few video files will do the job? or did you mean that if I shoot few videos, each one with a corresponding sound file and select them all together all file pairs will be matched correctly? Thanks.

What I mean is if you have multiple clips that have the same audio (for example, if you shot a talking-head video with multiple angles) and external audio. You can highlight all the videos and the external audio, and it will sync them all

@@Mielz many thanks for your quick answer. I have another one... Is a single boom microphone good enough for capturing the voice of the two involved people? You and your guest?
