  • Milwaukee M12 3/8" Crown Stapler Review. One flaw I found when doing the review on this stapler gun. Let's see what it is... Replace your manual stapler with a cordless and save your hands. M12 stapler can do 1500 staples on a normal m12 battery. Will increase stapling with a bigger M12. Can use any depth T50 staples.

    Every so often Milwaukee runs a special where you can buy a two battery pack of M12s (one 2.0 AH, one 4.0 AH) where you can get a free M12 tool thrown in at no additional charge - last one I saw it was for $119. I picked up this package and am very happy I did.
    This is a great tool and I'm very happy I bought it. It's light and handy and if you charge up the 4.0 AH battery, your arm will fall off before the battery is drained.

    First comment! It’s a good stapler gun. Does the job. Like you said... I would like it to have an On/Off button for safety.

      I don’t think you would need an on/off switch for safety. Milwaukee already thought of a safety feature for you. Stapler won’t function until trigger is engaged and tip of gun is pressed against whatever you are stapling. Plus best safety figure would be completely removing the battery from tool.

      @@1hons1 the safety tab on the bottom it terrible and because of where they put it, it staples a 1/2" behind the nose of the gun it is terrible. Most people looking for a electric stapler are going to be putting down a lot of staples being able to slide the gun to the next position vs lifting it up and down every staple sucks. just the staples being so far offset from the tip is the killer though I'm sad I got this one it wont allow you to staple the edge of stuff or close to a wall or corner. A good stapler puts the staples out at the very tip this one is just stupid!

    Thanks for the video, man. I'm looking to get one of these to install hardware cloth around a chicken run. It looks like a pretty straight forward tool to operate and I agree with the potential safety of not having an on/off switch. I own the brad nailer and I think it's a great addition, especially with a three-year-old boy running around.

    It’s nice but when nailing insulation into 2x4s they don’t sink all the way. Not terrible but not what I’d expect

      Depends what size staplers you have. I had no problems with mine and this was my first rodeo.

    No doubt I would have feed the staples in the same way.

    Whats the difference between this model and the more expensive model th m12 bst-0 ? The 2447-20 is the cheaper option

    • @PhillipBridgesReviews
      @PhillipBridgesReviews  8 місяців тому

      They are the same. The M12 bst-0 is the European model. Just in mm instead of inches.

    Philip, how would this compare to the Ryobi 18 V compression stapler counterpart? Is it better? They seem the same?

    • @PhillipBridgesReviews
      @PhillipBridgesReviews  3 роки тому

      The Ryobi is very nice too. It’s an 18v which will allow you to run up to 5000 staples on a battery. The M12 is around 1500. The Ryobi weights more. With these two it pretty much comes down to your preference or if you already have the battery system.

      @@PhillipBridgesReviews ok, so, if you had to chose, the M12, right?

    • @PhillipBridgesReviews

      Yes I would choose the m12. 😀

    How does it compare to the XTS01T from Makita?

    • @PhillipBridgesReviews
      @PhillipBridgesReviews  4 роки тому +1

      The Makita weighs 2 pounds more @ 5.3lbs. Milwaukee weighs 3 lbs. So having a lighter tool when using it a while really helps. It does do up to 7/8inch staples where the Milwaukee does only up to 9/16inch.
