Do you think Egypt will be able to claim the title of the world's tallest building? 🏙️👇🏻
Look at the state of inner Cairo. But no denying the Egyptians build great structures so I suppose it will claim the title.
That's definitely true! 👍🏻@@SirDailySuccesses
@@MegaBuildProjects I subscribed to you and I hope your channel will continue to grow, your content is way too underrated. Keep going brother!
Nah
FAKE
The more i see these megaprojects the more i respect countries that just invest in infrastructure like public transport and parks etc
Be ready to be disappointed
@@darknessincarnate138 I'm already disappointed in Egypt.
And there are many people living in poverty in egypt
It's a double-edged sword the mega-project are expensive but are tourist attractions well General infrastructure it's always great but it doesn't matter if your if your nation isn't stable
@jeremym4451 if you cannot afford them, no they are not. Versailles bankrupted France, caused the revolution and the reign of terror. Romania's Parliament is a good modern example of the same - bankrupting the country for the ego of its dictator, while ignoring the actual plight of the people. Guess how Ceausescu ended too. Megaprojects are inherently risky, especially when commissioned by autocrats to flaunt their unrepresentive power at the expense of everyone else.
There's a helipad at the top... shows a roof with no flat surface
It opens 👌
It's a pointy helipad silly! The helicopter balances on top.
it opens probably
That I was wondering yoot
Too*
And yet "started" doesn't mean "will finish".
meanwhile regular egyptians living in poverty
government using their fund from the poor the build this structure.
Just like the pyramids. “Hey you peasant slaves, build me this structure for me and my rich friends”
Same goes for India. They have a very costly space program and millions of their people live in appalling poverty.
U r right.
Because of Corrupt Politicians and Army
That is something that will always be true for humanity-it is intrinsic in our social structuring. But there will be work , crafting, for all to participate in!❤❤❤
There are oil-rich countries that have money to waste on vanity projects like this, but Egypt isn't one of them.
it’s so stupid. they could have helped the poor
They haven't done anything cause this will never be finished like Jeddah tower
😂
Nah Bro Egypt Done This Before📷
60% construction is already over bro
the Jeddah tower isn’t owned by a government, it’s owned by a rich businessman.
@@Ishaan-ok6uwno
Are you seriously praising this piece of vanity? Egypt has other issues to resolve. Poverty, water, food, transport, housing... Will this crap help?
This will be in a new big city
Nice BUT what is Egypt doing for their poor?
Stealing from them, so the politicians can enjoy nice things.
Avoiding them
Looking down on them.. literally 😅
Keeping them in Cairo because they were to lazy to move them
While people have nothing to eat in Egypt and are fleeing to Europe!
I'm starting to see where ancient stories of the tower of Babylon comes from.
Exactly!!Agreed
Look at "the bank of international settlements"
It's built like the tower of babel
Ah Yes building a new capital in the middle of the desert what a great idea
Same like my country, building new capital in the middle of the jungle
Lolol

@@alisheikh4698 LOL ...jealous of what? Gross mismanagement of public funds, so that a few powerful people can have something pretty? It's just another symbol of corruption.
The state government in Victoria Australia spent roughly four times more than that mega project on a new underground rail tunnel through the Melbourne CBD that also has new underground stations! :)
"Egypt has *done* what no one thought was possible...."
"...completion in 2030"
💀💀💀
lol
Has done? Or is going to? The project isn't finished, so you can't say "has done".
Pft. They _started_ constructing it? That's the easy part. The Sausi's also did that part. It's the "completing" part that "nobody thinks is possible"
God I hate megastructures, let’s work on solving the climate crisis or getting homes for the people who need it rather than luxury apartments that no one apart from millionaires will live in
oh my gosh, u have a brain
Most luxury apartments sit empty.
OK and who is going to pay for that dream that you have
@@Dino-kr9cbThat’s OK
There is no climate crisis. Jesus christ you people live on the same planet i do and yet you've been convinced of something that is easily debunked. If you'd said environmental crisis I'd say yes, sure pollution is a real problem. As far as climate crisis, when the planet starts COOLING, thats when we should worry. Ice ages have wreaked havoc on life on earth time and time again. There is no evidence that we have EVER, even once over heated our planet. In fact, as far back as we can see into human history, the warmer the climate got, the more populated and productive we became. This planet will be shocked back into an ice age long before it over heats. There is no climate crisis. Its a joke, a scam. We are technically STILL IN an ice age. Yet so many of us are brainwashed into disregarding the things we can see with our very own to eyes.
They’ve only “started” it. Until it’s actually finished, they’ve done nothing
That’s great for Egypt to initiate. I believe the average person should be able to make $21 an hour. They’re able to make that nice billion dollar skyscraper. Why can’t they Egypt the average citizens $21 an hour
STARTED....tell us when it is FINISHED
It took 632 years to finish Cologne Cathedral.
*The best thing about this tower is the shape of the Obelisk. Egypt really wants to retain its culture.*
But today's Egyptians are not the same people of ancient Egypt.
Obelisk is used by the freemasons and illuminati now because they believe having connections to pharaoh and his sorcerers
If they'd built this building as The Pyramid, it would be more iconic.
In Egypt now .... Government made the prices go from 100% to 300%.... Bro we are dieing
Where did all that money come from and who expects the Egyptians to repay it?
if they don’t get this done then they are going to keep taxing the poor.
Finally, we're advancing into the future predicted by books and media
it is fake, egypt is not able to build it the pil is lower than the one of greece
That's just Egypt tho.
Most other countries spend their money on wiser ways.
You should check out the green revolution and car ban happening in Europe! The future looks really nice for some countries too
Please don´t I prefer not to live in dystopian nightmare.
Egypt deserves some sort of modern monument to represent it, it is an important part of our world and history. However, IF this tower is ever completed what the hell will they use it for? Also, I feel as though over time it will not be kept up and maintained like it would be in a city such as Dubai, Taiwan etc. Egypt as a whole is not a place for such a structure.
Probably tourism, which is one the largest industries of Cairo
Let's come back to this video when or if it's actually built.
I imagine the maintenance costs are huge to just keep it inhabitable.
I do hope they build adequate plumbing unlike other nations building in the desert on a old sea bed.😮
They should do something about the poor and homeless first
It’s nice to see a modern skyscraper that pays homage to the area’s history and architecture. This is really cool.
Of course Egypt has the technical expertise to build this astonishing tower. After all, they did build the Great Pyramid along with the accompanying Sphinx. These two remarkable structures alone demonstrate the tenacity and resilience of these technologically-advanced people to overcome nature's challenges and epic engineering feats.

With a poverty rate of 27% Egypt, a police state. This edifice is obscene.

3.2 billion? thats a months rent of a studio apt in nyc
That seems a bit impossible
The top is a point! So how can a helicopter pad top the tower?
America should be building here in AMERICA for AMERICANS, instead of giving over $1Billion dollar in military aid to Egypt. If they can afford to build, they can afford to defend themselves. AMERICA FIRST!
Idk if its just me but it dont look like a helicopter can land on that tower
Meanwhile the IMF is still waiting for the payback
And why do we give Egypts military money every year
They obviously have money
Wait a million years till the impossible Tokyo Tower of Babel is built
You know what I would love to see? Countries building structures to help the homeless and impoverished. I'm so sick of these oversized pissing contest building
The late sheikh Zayed of Abu Dhabi built a lot of low cost housing for his people and many other things to improve their quality of life.
Instead of wasting billions on one building. Use the money to improve all the buildings and infrastructure of Egypt.
So you spend 58 billion on a structure and yet u have some of the poorest people on earth
It's worth 3.2 billion but it's budget is 58 billion? Explain that math to me.
That’s the budget of the whole city I believe, not the lone skyscraper
😂😂😂
I am happy to see growth in Egypt
may Allah gives Egypt hidayah before its too late
If you haven’t been to Egypt than you don’t understand how amazing this is. It’s like Mexico over there: poor, no infrastructure in most areas.
Egypt has an accommodate like that 45 thousand years
Where are they getting so much money from ?
That tower will be over 0.62 miles high. We'll over a half mile. The ground and foundation work will be amazingly large.
I'm looking forward to seeing what they are trying to use to build this because it just seems like a really dumb idea
The aliens are going to build it 👽
The competition of who has the biggest has gone too far.
The most important is do they have the money to do so? No one earn from Dubai projects in fact losing money by lies from Dubai government.
Imagine that Elon could buy 100 of these.
Meanwhile in 2100, the world's shortest tower has just 1000 floors💀
Egypt took “Africa is not poor” too far
And ended up making everyone in the country poor.
@@Hello_once_more ratio
Why say "3281 feet" when you can say "1000 meters"
Good for them. When you don't have the homeless shooting up in the streets, building nice things makes sense.
Oh, what a beautiful chinese city...
Where is Egypt getting the money for all this construction? They can't provide basic services, and suddenly they're spending hundreds of billions on not just buildings, but cities
You’d need at least a jumbo jet to bring that down
😮😮😮😮
Feed the 50% below poverty first 🤦
I want the penthouse if ot comes with an escape plan
I have started my own tower today. Will be 2 km tall when finished. Today I layed the first 3 bricks
I have started building a 30 mile high yes high tower to go into space, hope someone in my dynasty down the line would finish it.
Far more attractive than Dubai 's tallest building.
Serious question. What lifespan do they expect out of these buildings? Are they projected to stand 100 years? Less?
That’s awesome I can’t wait to see the hotels rates an air ticket prices for these billions of people about to go there.
that oil money has to be used before its gone
They don't have much oil
I can't believe people are still using steel and glass to build skyscrapers. It's already been proven (in 2001) that an office fire and some kerosine can cause any of these types of buildings to collapse.
They don’t want to admit this but they just want it to be so tall that it can’t fit in the British museum
Thanks for sharing
The CA= Central production fascilities, in the Kiruna iron ore mountain are substantually higher.
It would be abandoned
I worked and lived in Egypt for 4 years they can not build this with bamboo scaffolding. Must be hoping for the same people that built the pyramids to come back.
They need to invest in their people first😊
Love Egypt
How long will this last in the future world speculation. 🌎 GOD-BLESS.
“Started” is key word.
I feel like the first month a plane is gonna hit it
I'm intrigue to know how this building deal strong desert winds..
I could never be in that building! Creepy!
A budget of 58 billion dollars, yet whole building valued at 3.2 billon dollar?
58 billion for the entire city.
That is Amazing and Incredible.
There’s a Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. That the desert 🐪 dwelling Bedouins (Arabs) will be competing in building the tallest structures and this is one of the minor signs of the end of days ! I don’t see Americans,Africans or Europeans doing this to this extent 😢

Remember that movie Elysium? A luxury city in the sky only for the rich and favoured few.
They should invest that money into water sourcing. After Ethiopia fills its dam, Egypt will dry up

Those structures are rarely a good idea, probably will not economically do well.
But, on the plus side, at LEAST, its somewhat attractive.
They say there's a helipad at the top. Every picture they show has a pointed top. Huh?!
An energy guzzling edifice to the people who build it.
You know the Saudis arent gonna let that happen, they would build something higher before that tower could even be completed
I hope i get to be so lucky to spend time in that hotel
