Having had the privilege of visiting The Other Side Academy (TOSA) in Salt Lake City and Denver and spending time with the staff and students, I can attest to the fact that spending time with these "felons" who have made a choice to transform their lives and the lives of others is the most inspiring experience one could ever have. Their commitment to excellence and bringing out the best in each other is unlike anything I have ever seen. I have incorporated the lessons I have learned from them into my conversations with my corporate clients and I have no doubt that any organization that experiences a fraction of the truth, love, and connection that they make available at TOSA, would be the absolute best among their peers. We all have a lot to learn from this model. Thank you Joseph Grenny and the men and women who have made The Other Side Academy a relaity.

I love how they call them out on their mistakes and they don’t move to punish them. They embrace them and show them love. ❤

Outstanding. Joseph Grenny, thank you for sharing your own vulnerability which engenders the same in your miraculous team. Made me cry, in the good way. THIS work of giving folks a chance is what matters even more than ever. Thank You and Bless You and your wife.

      You said it perfectly,
'This work of giving people a chance matters...'
It won't work for everyone with those problems- but it will for most.
Finally the momentum is shifting in the way we deal with crime and drugs.
Tougher penalties and mandatory minimums turned into an explosion in prisons population.
Then we tried HB348 which is a law that seems to give people as many chances as they want so long as the crime is 'that bad.
Unsurprisingly, families and victims suffered over and over despite pleading for help to the authorities.

Incredibly amazing in its impact especially because as society and individuals we mostly believe that there are many who 'cannot and do not change' because of their earlier experiences.
Loved it. Thank you so much for sharing.

This is amazing!!! Seriously this brings me so much joy. I love this, everything deserves this no matter what the crime is.

So cool. The most effective way to transform someone. Love, Hope, Charity. It’ll cause some motivation to want to do and be better. Wish I could work for a program like this.

This is the program Robert Kennedy Jr said he would expand if elected president, so l Googled it and found this TED Talk, whuch moved me to tears. Yes! This is the kind of leadershio our country needs, and needs now, before things get even worse. Im sick of the Democrats and the Republicans, who have been corrupted by large corporations and forsaken America and all we stand for. I will not vote out of fear or out of hate this time around, but with hope of real change and true leadership.
