This list is absolutely spot on. The only game I haven't played from this is tennis. I tried it, but my ceiling is too low and I kept whacking the beam with my hand/controller, so I just returned it rather than end up with a broken controller or hand. I have every one of the other picks and agree with you completely, they're all best in breed. Eleven is my favorite, I actually use that one as my daily exercise routine.
I love Walkabout. I have all the courses. Such a great deal. Miracle Pool is worth a try. I think the physics when you pull back on the cue are better than Black hole pool. Plus, it has mixed reality.
Walkabout mini golf is 2 more games within the game of golf itself. Brilliant team behind this franchise. Search for new balls and complete the scavenger hunt type activity for each hole to get more putters. Its also fun to float around the courses. Upside down town is crazy new way to play mini golf. Its a paid add on but worth it.
Great video. Totally agree with Eleven table tennis and Thrill of the Fight. Best of the bunch in my opinion but I haven't tried Premium Bowling or Black Hole Pool. Definitely have to try those two.
this is one for the og psvr, but rigs is a fantasy sport game with mechs instead of regular people. It's old, and no one plays it these days, but it really nails that feeling of being an NFL athlete. at least check out the trailers.
Norn iron! 😂 I’ve just upgraded from my Rift to a quest 3 and I’m blown away! Been looking for some new games to utilise the MR so thanks for the advice 👍🏼
Eleven Table Tennis has very good physics, but I have got to disagree with the controllers being similar to table tennis paddles. I used to play table tennis before COVID and every time I practiced in VR I was always worse at the real table tennis, because the paddles felt so different to me. I actually had to stop playing in VR so I could improve in the real thing. For a VR game though, it IS pretty good, I definitely agree with that, if the controllers were paddle shaped I think I'd not had that problem at all.
Tha value proposition of these games alone is worth thousands of dollars. Cuts out all the costs of equipment/entry/and logistical planning and time..and cuts straight to focusing on the physical mechanics that makes all of these sports/activities so addictive and enjoyable in the 1st place. And without the need for cleanup/settup. Just right into the game doing what makes it fun. To think you can squeeze in a round of golf/ a quick game of ping pong/ and a game of 9 ball all within an hour after dinner and before bed is a luxury never afforded until a few years ago, and i dont think people really understand that this is what the Quest is offering. Forget the notion of "i can play grand theft auto in VR" flat screen games in vr can get old and daunting quick, but competition in sports never gets old
added a few to my wishlist. Excellent vid! I don't have my q3 yet but I already have Thrill of the Fight (and Creed) installed and ready. Nearing 60 so I hope my poor joints can take it! lol
which one do you like better over creed rise to glory and thrill of the fight? I'm debating which one to get. I heard Thrill of the Fight is better, but also debating if I should get it now or wait til V2 comes out in near future.
@@MidD4life I've played Thrill way more. I even bought the meta version since it also has MR. I didn't know that back when I bought it on steam. No more fear of punching walls and stuff. I'd wait for a sale but definitely get it. No telling when the sequel will come out. I played Creed once. It only worked with airlink, not steamvr. Everything seemed hurried. Thrill feels much more like actual boxing to me. It's not as flashy though. Maybe with Thrill 2 they will add more flashiness to it along with more fighters to fight (it's other weakness). When used for exercise I really only need to have a fight with the sparing partner then the first guy. I end up flooring the first guy in the first round on EASY so NORMAL level is probably best. But I'm exhausted after those rounds. I've never tried the second guy! lol I plan to... but I'm perfectly satisfied after what I have played.
@@jimperry4108 That's good to know! Thanks for sharing your experience with the different games! Your experience seems to be in line with what I've heard from many others as well. I think I'm gonna buy Thrill of Fight while it's on sale right now for only $8.
Do you play Golf+ on Quest 3 at 100% graphics or higher? I can't seem to find a good balance between laggy head movement and very blurry distant graphics.
Great list. I think you should give racket club a go too now that it's released. Man in my opinion it's up there with the best of them. The fact that it is a sports game fully designed for vr makes it so damn good. Physics are pretty great and it's super fun!!
The only game I have that you played is walkabout minigolf that is fun sometimes, but not my kind of sport. My favorites are not on this list. My favourite are Holofit (together with my elliptical machine) and Les Mills Body Combat. For fun/fitness I play Beat Saber a lot.
I just wanted to cover sports in this video, rather than fitness games. There are definitely plenty of really good fitness games that I'll cover in a future video.
You didnt talk about American football. PRO ERA 2 is a great QB simulation game where you are the quarterback of real NFL teams.....you should try that and really feel like you are playing in the NFL as QB
Great reviews and thanks. You’re dead on point. As far as your opinions on Thrill of the Fight I’m with you 💯 percent. , It’s also my go to for HIIT cardio. I’m also a big boxing fan, so I really love TOTF and almost use it daily. I’ve also recently downloaded Golf+ and use it in Quest 2 since there is no club simulator upgrade for Meta 3. I recently upgraded and added the Meta 3 to my VR toolbox. The Golf+ is awesome. I’m seriously considering trying table tennis, so Eleven is being considered. I’m also interested in shooting a little pool in VR, so thanks for the recommendation. Keep up the great work. Subscribed!
Thanks for your reviews! I'm hoping to get a Quest for Christmas (my husband better come through or he's out on the curb!!) 😉 I've been watching videos to get a feel for what might be good games. I appreciate you!
How do games like premium bowling work considering the fact that the controller gets swung behind you as you would a bowling ball? How would the headset detect the ir sensors on the controller when the controller is behind you?
If we are talking sports what about American football? PRO ERA and now PRO ERA 2 are great QB simulations where u feel like u are the real QB of an NFL team. Play that and really feel special!
I thought this would be a barrier for me but you really don't notice it which is kind of weird to say but it's not even something i think about anymore, just have a strong base when taking your shot like you would normally
"A sport is a physical activity or game that is organized and competitive" Google sport definition... a game is a sport... E-sport is a professional video gaming industry. So yeah any game can be a sport and vise versa
Recently picked up racket club, and it’s been a blast. They created a new racket sport that feels like it was made for VR, and it plays so well!
This looks awesome and I'll definitely be checking it out.
Might be the best Vr sports game right now
I tried racket club but when I would click play it would make me pay money in order to play

So hard to pick my favorite, but Eleven Table Tennis is so good. They're all awesome games. Only wanted to include the very best in this video.
try Racket Club VR. its a mix between tennis/padel/squash/pickle ball. they found a solution for vr racket games!
I love Walkabout. I have all the courses. Such a great deal. Miracle Pool is worth a try. I think the physics when you pull back on the cue are better than Black hole pool. Plus, it has mixed reality.
Walkabout is a 10/10 game. Totally love it.
Put your hand up if you've gone to tap the ball over the net and leaned on the table. (Eleven Table Tennis)
Me, lol.
I can’t wait to play golf+. It seems to rain on my days off so I can’t get to the golf course. This seems like it would be a great alternative.
It really is. Especially if you get a golf club controller attachment. It's not quite a golf simulator, but it's close enough.
Walkabout mini golf is 2 more games within the game of golf itself. Brilliant team behind this franchise. If you want a more arcadey tennis experience or a squash game,I recommend C-smash VRS.
I'm ready for thrill of the fight 2, Thrill of the fight is great for Hiit cardio

They're both great. I'd probably pick Premium Bowling first unless you have a strong preference for pool.
Im ready for some Mixed Reality fitness games
Me too! I've tried a few, but this is a fantastic use case for MR that we're going to see a lot more of.

That sounds really fun. I've never tried it, but would be cool if they make a sequel.
Believe it or not, sports scramble has an awesome tennis game … for those that are looking for casual tennis. Esports tennis is good too, no?
Sports Scramble is defintely a ton of fun, but I've only played it a little. I'll have to check out Esports Tennis to see how it shapes up.

i had the same exact issues. vr table tennis screws up wrist motion and makes real life seem way faster.
try Miracle Pool too! Mixed Reality pool game made by the same studio like Black Hole Pool. i would be curious to hear your opinion on it.
Thanks for letting me know about this one. It looks really good and getting fantastic reviews. I'm going to try it out over the next few days.

The only issue with the bowling game is the ball is so light. They need a heavy ball accessory to make it harder to throw it. :)
Thrill of the fight 2 will include online multiplayer

some nice sports, good review
Many thanks, really appreciate it.

Only one way to find out! I think it should def improve it overall.

I agree with the list apart from ib cricket should be on there

Is the pool weird given you can never lean on the table?
Yes, it does take a little getting used to, but not as much as you would imagine.
