“It’s never too late for an adventure. Just try and see. And I think you will be surprised how well you do. You either rust out or wear out. I chose to wear out.” - Dorothy, 102 years young. Thank you Dorothy for showing us how to live life to its fullest. We love this woman so much! / Staffan & Ammar
As a proud Aussie, im so happy that Dorothy got to experience my home, and complete her goal of visiting every continent. I cant think of a better group of people to have helped her achieve this. What an inspirational lady. ❤
when Staffan asked where she gets all the jokes from, I realized how in the moment she lives, she doesn't worry if the joke will be funny or not, no pressure no expectations, and that's how she gets it, just living in the present moment and not worrying about the outcome.
"If you wave with your left hand, it means you are coming back." I actually believed her and will incorporate this from now on. What a legend Dorothy is!
It's amazing that a man who considers himself to be black hearted and hardened to everything after being a junkie for 30 years and spending 17 years in prison ....WHY AM I CRYING IN MY COFFEE???!!!!!! You guys are fantastic!! Such good souls and DOROTHY I LOVE YOU YOUNG LADY!!!
I suspect you have only been hardened to all the bad things that happen to you, not the wonderful things that happen to others who you believe truly deserve them. I can only pray that one day soon, you will come to understand that you also deserve good things in your life. Please consider yourself hugged
What an incredible journey! We are so grateful to Yes Theory for making one of our residents' bucket list come true! Seeing her travel across the world to Australia and live out such a meaningful adventure has been truly heartwarming for our entire senior community. This is a beautiful reminder to check in with seniors around you - they have dreams and stories worth celebrating! It's never too late to say "yes" to new possibilities and live life to the fullest! - Denise
I know, her daughter is in great shape herself! Her daughter is the age of most grandparents, many people the daughter's age wouldn't be able to fly to Australia
The concept of it being "too late" for anything, even at my relatively young age, tends to trip me up. Been trying to live like I can do anything at any time, and I truly think we all can. Seeing it in practice here is wonderful!
Men,at 29 lost my job haven't worked for an year, feeling lost and confused with this life, seeing this video is just what i needed to remind its never too late.God bless you Dorothy and yes theory.
I love so much how Staffan always connects with the “grandparents” you meet in your travels. It’s like he has a bunch of grandparents all over the world. Just lovely each time I see it. I know Dorthy was joking and said “you seemed harmless” but I just know they can see what a wonderful soul you have.
Thank you for making me unexpectedly bawl my eyes while snacking. 2 days ago my 104 years old grandma passed away. This video is a heart balm. Dorothy, such a queen. Love you guys❤
Quanta’s airlines are genuinely incredible. I flew economy from SFO to Sydney years ago and it was the best economy experience I have ever had. And their domestic flights are amazing too, they feed you on every dang flight even if it’s a short one. Such lovely people too, I’m not at all surprised they rose to the occasion and were so kind to Dorothy. Nothing more fitting than Dorthy being sent off with a rainbow to visit OZ!!! What a beautiful story and women.
Being ill and disabled, I know I'll never get to live Dorothy's life. I'm happy I was able to pack 4 lifetimes in my first 30 years, and will be thankful for whatever comes next, even if it will be slower and way more challenging. But 1 thing I've learned from this, and what I get from this video too, is that the physical material part of an adventure is only the scenery. The subject matter is the connections and the people you have around you. I wish I didn't have to, but I'll gladly trade my adventures for love and connection. My discomfort may be different, and it found me all on its own, but the message is the same: just keep living. What else is there to do?
Dorothy is an inspiration to people of any age. A true ray of sunshine bursting with energy and life. Thank you Dorothy for teaching us all that it's never "too late" for anything!
Love Dorothy! What an amazing example for all of us! She is well-travelled, adventurous, more than many a quarter of her age, and so gracious. Thanks for sharing this beautiful adventure with us ❤.
Seek Discomfort had my back when my dad died a couple of years ago. I will never forget that. Love the content that's created and message you guys send. It's much appreciated
Watching Netflix's Man on the Inside made me realize how precious the senior community are in our lives. We should learn to check in on them often. Having these 2 videos with Dorothy is so awesome! Good job, Yes Theory!
This Dorothy story / adventure made me choke up, laugh, cry, and reminisce... In our family we have 2 long lived grandpas (107 and 99) and one long lived grandma (89) unfortunately our other grandma flew up to heaven just before I crash landed on earth 30 years ago and I never met her. I lost my 107 year old grandpa just 2 years ago, and these two videos of Dorothy made me remember him vividly, and when my story is all said and done I hope I remember this video, I hope when I see my grandparents in the sky I will hug them like how I hugged them as a young lad.
I feel so blessed getting to know Dorothy, she's a huge inspiration and what a great Lady! Thanks guys, for making it possible for all of us to make such awesome acquaintance ❤
Stefan, I truly admire the love you showed Dorothy, the way you gently caress her hand and shoulder, so much love and affection. I hope humanity will be just like this towards everyone and each other in time. Thank you Yes Theory for another great video.
Yes Theory never fails to bring so much joy, thoughtfulness, kindness, adventures, dreams, connections, and humanity in people’s hearts ❤❤❤❤❤The men of Seek Discomfort is the definition of what being a gentleman, a friend, a neighbor, a beautiful bridge that connects good people to meet and inspire others to love, live kindly, and pay it forward ❤❤❤❤
Wow! Tomorrow I’m flying with my grandma (77) to Indonesia. 🇮🇩 she’s my inspiration for travelling as she travelled everywhere when I was a kid. It will be our first time traveling to my grandmother home country together and it will be super special!
I hope to embody everything that Dorthy is as I go through life, what a beautiful sweet funny woman so full of life! She has truly made me rethink aging, and how much life we have left to live. 💜
Her saying about trying to wear out, rather than rust out really hit me. Ofcourse there will be bad days but why would you let them get to you. Enjoy the good days even more, Outstanding video of you guys So much love to you guys and Dorothy ofcourse. Seek Discomfort ❤
Wow! I cried a little when the Aussie Yes Fam showed up. This is one of the best videos I’ve seen. I also loved when they were on the beach and the people who saw her on tv showed up. ❤😊
Your kindness, generosity, empathy, joy and authenticity shine in the Dorthy videos. Thank you for doing this for Dorthy and sharing with the rest of us. Sometimes in the USA it is difficult to remember kindness towards strangers still exists and you show us it does in spades. I haven’t been crying 😢through this video, nope not at all😢.
She is so precious, and hilarious! It’s been so lovely watching Dorthy’s journey to her 7th continent! 💕 even at the beginning of the episode to see the community that Dorothy lives. A part of in that retirement home that in itself is incredible.

Happy December!! ❄️ I hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving ❤️🎄❤️🎄❤️🎄❤️🎄❤️🎄❤️🎄❤️🎄❤️🎄
Walking across the Golden Gate Bridge on the first day it opened might be the best flex I've heard lol
Super 💪🏽!!!
yes, and have you seen the giants in that picture ua-cam.com/video/38PwG3zGDDI/v-deo.html
So impressive!
I was awestruck
the casual 100 year old baby photo at the end

Inspiration overload!
Man! Shoutout to Quantas! that V.I.P. treatment! they sure know how to care for elders!
Yeah for the promo for them.
Otherwise, the worst airline that I ever used 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
@@winifredclarke1977 You can't have flown on many airlines then.
That's how they get the plane ticket for free
Whatever the deal was, they were really nice to Dorothy and that I appreciate
It's a business transaction. Quantas gets free promotion from it
Here I am at 27, feeling tired, anxious and stuck...this is just what I needed.☺ Thank you sincerely as always and bless you, Dorothy!
26 here, and same. she is such an amazing human and an absolute gem. Such an inspirational woman. got to love her
Also 26, this has brought me hope
32 here, and same, time to do stuff B-)
At 61 I am truly inspired by Dorothy. She is truly a great lady.
27 about to be 28 in 10 days, I feel you. We can do this! 💪🏽
The most heartwarming story of 2024.
agreed!
I hope I can be as clear of mind as Dorothy in old age. 102 years and she hasn't lost her wit, and the world is all the better for it.
Or apparantely her hearing. Did you notice that she heard everything?
@@susanrichardson8035 I did. She's quite amazing.
She is invested in AI and Tesla, and named the boat "Adventure Time"
She's so young at heart.
"If you wave with your left hand, it means you are coming back." I actually believed her and will incorporate this from now on. What a legend Dorothy is!
This video gives life a different perspective. Dorothy is living proof that laughter and good humour is key to longevity.
Indeed! ❤

I’m not crying, you’re crying! 🥲
😂 I was 😂
No I'm not I swear 😭
I had some ninja cutting onions
From the very first minute until the last 😭😂

❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’m also the woman on the plane crying for her 😭❤️ So incredibly inspiring ✨
Dorothy's daughter honestly looks great for almost 70
Dorothy looks great for 102
That family has great genetics
Many people wouldn't even do a trip like that at the daughter's age.
Wait! What?
She's almost 70?
In hindsight, I guess that makes sense given her mother's age and youthfulness, but I never would have guessed it.
I was thinking the same. It’s not possible. Both look 20 years younger! 😊
I know, her daughter is in great shape herself! Her daughter is the age of most grandparents, many people the daughter's age wouldn't be able to fly to Australia
"Closest we'll ever get to heaven"
The way I laughed 😂. I hope to be as spry and humourus as she is when I'm older.
that was so funny...

102 but her humor is ageless, what an iconic human being
& wingman skills unmatched!!!😂
Dorothy is an amazing woman.
She’s awesome.
Well said 💖
Every human at an old age deserves the time to be understood
She truly doesn't look a day over 79! What a sweet, lovely and funny lady! That woman is a force of nature!

By far one of the best stories told on the channel, Dorthy Is the 🐐
That retirement home has to be the most beautiful in the world
Thank you so much for your kind words! Our community is filled with incredible people who inspire us every day!
This is the Yes Theory I missed, knew, and loved. Rock on guys!
I was tearing up throughout the entire video. Such a wonderful trip you have given Dorothy. May she live many more years.
Plot twist: The 102-year-old was just trying to get their steps in for the day, and you turned it into a global tour. Respect
I love Staffan’s enthusiasm and love for life.
It’s infectious 💗
She saved the most amazing continent til last. Even on the plane there you meet Australians and the experience begins❤🇦🇺❤️😘
Qantas is Australian.
UA-cam video aside, real life wise, this is insane for a 102 year old to have happen for her and experience on so many levels and for them to endeavor
Right, imagine this happening to you
Quanta’s airlines are genuinely incredible. I flew economy from SFO to Sydney years ago and it was the best economy experience I have ever had. The fact that we get free videos on UA-cam by Yes Theory is truly a gift; keeping knowledge and entertainment alive. 👏🙏🏽🤷
My biggest fear of finishing this one, was the last page of "In Memory of Dorothy" she is an amazing soul!
I was half expecting it but so relieved to not see it.
This woman is incredibly lucid for her age!!
"You can either rust out or wear out" is the hardest quote I ever heard and I'm using it.
God bless her, literally melt my heart to see Dorothy ticking off her bucket list. And don tell me I'm the only one tearing up right now.
I don't know why I am crying, this has to be one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen :)
I cried through this entire video.
❤
As someone who finds the unknown very frightening, Dorothy's words are a challenge and an encouragement
