the truth about these bosses:
grip king: can total himself in the first turn
drift king: cannot pass 2000 score, but has the skills to make much more in the tracks
drag king/queen: his/her mustang isn't powerful enough to win against most of our drag blueprints
speed king: as seen in the video, Nate Denver is afraid of stepping hard on the gas pedal
conclusion: doesn't make much sense to consider them as kings.

The thing is, his GTO is really damn fast for a 65 Goat. His AI just sucks.

It's not a joke. Nate Denver is the easiest of the 5 Kings in my opinion. The thing is, when you win his GTO, it is actually quite fast. It's not the car, it's the driver.

***** Imagine the concept of most wanted where every blacklist has it's own gang like pro street and they are in different cities and races in grip, drift, etc. And you with every win, create your own gang like carbon and the races have expectators and magazines flew at you like underground 1. when i used nate denver's 1965 GTO, i managed to win the race of course but also, i managed to reach 397 km/h. that make like 245 mp/h something like that. just warning you nate denver's GTO is really hard to control, i crashed many time before i could win with this car.

These are the reasons why nobody beat these kings:
Grip: Everyone was too scared to race him...even though he's easy.
Speed: Absolutely nobody could survive the track. I mean, IT WANTS TO FREAKING KILL YOU!

I'm convinced the real AI for Ray Krieger was switched with his underling crew member, Gavin May. When I got the game I played it on "King" difficulty and Gavin May was ridiculously hard to pass in his Ford Escort Cosworth once I got to the G-Effect Race day. He always had the lead and it took some serious concentration just to keep up and hope he'd mess up a turn.
Now with that said I think it is entirely possible the AI for Nate Denver was switched with another racer as well. I don't know who though.
There were a lot of other racers who deserves to be the kings instead of these noobs. Especially Rudy Chen.
That prick Paul Trask or JP Laurent are the true speed kings

In this order, Drag, Drift, Showdown.
I remember the speedtrap races without any assists on made the car really really twitchy and undrivable.
I raced the drag queen recently, she was running 9-11 second 1/4 mile times
I won, took her car. Then started running 7.50s
It doesn’t make sense. I noticed when you’re dominating the npcs go slower but when you do terrible they perform much better

The Speed King has his own team, now all 3 of his team members have a Pagani Zonda F, a Corvette Z06, and a Toyota Supra. All 3 of his team members are faster than the Speed King.

Originally, if you look at the previews of ProStreet it looked like Ray Krieger (BMW M3 E92) was the Speed King and Aki Kimura may of have been the Grip King.
When this video first opens up, he looks like a cartoon character up in the corner .

Why is the Speed King driving a GTO '67?! It's slower than the Zonda F which is faster and more stable than Denver's car!
In the DS version, he is a lot harder, in the Top Speed Run he can go up toward 170-200+ MPH

I own this game for PC! I suck so badly at speed events (even with the available assists in-game).
Next on the hit list should be the Drag King / Queen (game says they're both so...?). As long as you have a trusted pair of high-power drag cars - one for good times and the other for good wheelies - you should be set.
I remember myself playing this game back in the day on PC and XBox, I dominated the career mode like 7 or 8 times.
I remember trying to beat the course records of the Kings, asking myself what kind of monster Cars and Skills they must have... and then I beat them all like I was learning how to play the game.... so ridiculous.
The speed king was ment to be at the highway in Germany that was in his preview vidio, so get use to the way it handles and it's really fast
I put it on king, barely beat any of them...keep in mind I was 10 years old and was before Gran Turismo taught me to use brakes, beforehand all I did was let off XD
I totaled Ryo in a speed race...I crossed the line and it said he won like wtf
They should make a NFS Prostreet Remastered, with:
- Harder Kings
- A Billion Times Better Graphics
- Cockpit View
- More Cars

If only this game had better AI like in Most Wanted. On Blacklist 9..that guy is hard to beat...you have to restart like more than 2 times to beat him. He drives like rally driver..with an EVO !

They gave the kings the wrong cars. By the time you challenge them, you'll have a car that will run circles around them. And the Shelby GT500 is just the most balanced all rounder you can unlock really early.
dekoldrick The other problem is the cars can't be tuned in a way to be challenging. It's like the opposite of carbon where you had to basically tune up your tier 1 car to race the slightly tuned tier 2 cars otherwise you wouldn't stand a chance.

Drag king was hard, i had trouble with that alooong time ago
THe drift king is the hardest, followed by ryo on the wii/ps2 version. For the drift king, I pretty much just got a stock corolla and put power upgrades into it, for ryo, I just got a maxed out skyline for grip, gto for drag, drift king's rx7 for drift, and evo for speed.

My smart way to beat them easily was get the same car they own and max it out
For example I use rx7 for drifting it is the best
I used to drive the Chevrolet ss for drifting it didn't do well
KP-48 An RX7 fully modified is pretty much the easiest and most fun way to drift in this game. You can be so aggresive with it on most tracks and pull of amazing angles and come out perfectly fine with an insane score

I always built a MONSTER Skyline for the Speed challenges. Its name is Godzilla and I'm afraid... its only competition is the Zonda or another GTR... barely
And KING mode does make them a bit more... unhinged.. especially Ryo.
He will top out his car on wifi on King difficulty but it only happens sometimes

i remember that the drift king was probably the second hardest after the drag queen but thats not saying much considering i still beat it first go and i really sucked at drifting plus i think the drag queen is the only one with an actually good car i remember really liking that mustang.
I was beating her by about 4 seconds on the quarter mile. And this is King difficulty. None of the Kings are difficult.

1. Drift
2. Grip
3. Speed
4. Drag
