I have three memories of ProStreet:
1) Driving a fully-upgraded Zonda at 200+ MPH down a straight and being passed by a Lancer Evolution.
2) Being punished for having good cars. Some late-game events are easier to win if you use a lower-class car instead of that supercar you scrimped and saved for.
3) RYAN COOPAH!
the only reason you were passed by a lancer evolution is because you did not upgrade the fucking cam timing in the engine settings on TUNE lmfao

effisjens The first time i played the game i didnt care for hardness i just beat it. But now years later when i played it again with a r34 with only a wing an a stock bodykit. I made it as the famous purple big wing R34 you can find it in google. Anyways i get scared shitless when i play nevada too. But its a fun thrill witch new games lack. The whole game with the drag drift and speed events makes it amazing. Grip not so much.
They were always so long and grueling. They went on for miles and they never had any kind of entertainment factor.

Btw, no matter what, thats my absolute favourite NFS. Why? Because this one has got a great atmosphere, with remarkable OST. Probably Black Box made the first Forza Horizon earlier than Turn10 did. Just in a very beta version to compare to the real Horizon.

The GTRs are ridiculously weak in this game for Speed events, even with fine tuned stage 4 parts and manual transmissin + clutch.
The only car that would go fast but still very controllable for Speed events IMO is the Porsche 911 Turbo.

best part about this game is that the car are build to the type of racing you use it on making a dedicated drift car or what not

Electronic Arts is gonna have to sell out to either Turn 10 or Slightly Mad Studios to remake Prostreet, but they're gonna have to make the voice acting sound sensible. that means no fast and furious BS.
i dont remember if this game was that hard or not, but i do remember not wanting anything to do with it at first cuz i refused to let go of the whole underground/ most wanted/ carbon (was still recovering from carbon not being as good as the previous 2) for awhile.

I remember being a little kid getting this game for ps2 and i sucked at it, got it again for 360 when i was older and loved it for how realistic it was. i really miss wrecking my cars by hitting jumps too hard and losing control they need to remaster or at least make it backwards compatible with current gen consoles along with carbon and all the other good nfs games of the early 2000s watching your vid has me feeling such a strong sense of nostalgia :’(

This in my opinion was the most underrated Need For Speed game, fun as hell, and very addictive, while I disagree with BlackPlanthaa on this being the hardest racing game, it’s far from the hardest, although the Speed Challenges were brutal, not because of the other racers, but because of the track, one mistake can completely ruin your race, other than the Speed Challenges, it was far from the hardest, I hope this game becomes backwards compatible on the Xbox One, (but the music got repetitive and annoying after a while)

Well in my Opinion for those who say that NFSMW (2005) is the best NFS Game, i'll disagree with them..That's because ProStreet has more realistic driving and it's a Hard to Master game, well that makes the game more interesting. I've also seen other options which were better (in my opinion) than NFSMW which were NFS Undercover, Underground 2 and NFS The Run.
