    Stumbled upon your channel and digging it. I don't have a double cab, instead I would like some tips to have getaway vehicle ready when it comes to Ford Everest. Can you share any tips?

    I've got an RSI smart cap on my tacoma here in the US. Its the best topper ever. Super solid. That one looks very similar for the most part. Nice build man!

      Did you have any issues with fastener hardware corrosion and seals on the joints ?

    Set up looks great and very practical. It seems to be more of an Australian market only thing, but what made you keep a style side setup rather than a flatbed tray and canopy setup? My own opinion is they’re a lot more versatile and more storage.

    • @mattdubber
      @mattdubber  3 роки тому +1

      I agree, that is more practical. At the moment that is very much an Aussie thing. I’m sure the rest of the world will catch up soon!

    Why would go RSI over this one? The side door openings look larger on your one vs the RSI

    Matt..
    Can you glue some styrofoam onto various areas to help with the heat problem? Ar3 you using any solar charging...guessing that will be covered in a future video....are you using a second car battery....in both my Land Cruisers, I have twin battery compartments but it has been a while since I rented a Hilux so I cannot recall if you have a second battery compartment. Great video! Cheers💪

    • @mattdubber
      @mattdubber  3 роки тому +2

      Styrofoam could work! The Hilux does have dual battery compartments but its best to have the battery at the back as the heat in the engine bay affects the auxiliary battery performance, and there is voltage drop if it is too far from the fridge and other things.

      I just wonder.
      Is ther any side panels to fit under the roof on the cooking side. Is ther any wire to tye to the ground? Inkase ther comes a snowstorm.
      🥶🤭😁

    Hi, I’ve seen your video on UA-cam about the orange river adventure and really like your shirt. Is it possible for you to give me an idea as to where I can get one?
    Thanks

    I just noticed that it (YT) doesn’t let me like the video. I have to hit the like button 3X before it accepts the (👍🏻). Once that happens if I stroll thru the subsequent videos & come back to yours the 👍🏻is no longer hi lighted and the # of likes is back down to what it was before I gave you the 👍🏻.

    Why would you not have gone with the Alu Cab Canopy Camper - I figure that would be the gold standard. -NO? (BTW - I just had an accc installed on my Tacoma with 6-foot bed...)
