You can purchase the old starting gear from the vendors in your faction capital, For Alliance it's Carla Granger (Cloth sets), Lara Moore (Leather sets) and Aldric Moore (Mail sets) in the Lionheart Armory in the Trade District and Allison Potts (Plate sets) in Potts' Plates in Dwarven District in Stormwind and for Horde it's Ollanus (Cloth sets) in Magar's Cloth Goods and Morgum (Leather sets) in Kodohide Leatherworkers in The Drag in Ogrimmar and Sana (Mail Sets) and Naros (Plate sets) in Naros' Armory in Valley of Strength in Ogrimmar
Hey, thank you for the detailed explanation, bet it will help some people! 😌 I have all of these, I’m very intense when it comes to Transmog in WoW 🤭 I was more referring to the fact that I’d like to have the starting armor back ON the characters when I create them, since I really, really, really dislike the “new” human centric ones.
@ yeah I'd really like to see the old starting armours be starting armours again, I made a blood elf hunter recently and the new hunter outfit starting outfit looks horrible!
As a rogue main for years and years, I can definitely say over the years, it's definitely lost it's flavour for class fantasy over the years e.g. lockpicking, sneaking around overall, and thievery shenanigans, rogues have and always will hold a soft spot in my heart for the style and brutality that some abilities come with. Nice video as always. :)
I think Blizzard’s obsession with dictating how you _should_ see and understand your class lore and flavor wise has uprooted many classes over the years. I very much like the outlaw vibes, and thanks to the fate bound hero tree it also has a bit more to itself than “PIRATE!” Alone, but at its core that’s still all Blizzard really gives you for that spec. Which doesn’t exactly fit with the sneaky poison horror, my undead is supposed to be. But I don’t like Shadowstep and much prefer the grapple hook, so it’s not even a question if I could respect to assa or sub 🤭
the change to combo points made me love retail rogues. I miss the lockpicking and reasons to pickpocket, but I still love having stealth. It makes it one of the best classes to solo since you can pick and choose your fights better and take enemies down one at a time.
I love rogues playstyle and the class fantasy, even though they hardly use much of it. I especially love Goblin Rogues, they are so silly >:3 Wish they treated Rogues better
I really agree with you about the undead race, they look so... wierd??? compared to the classic ones D: I also think that Goblins need a touch too, specially for the males faces wich for some reason ALL look the same >
Yeah, they really do, especially compared to the goblin gals, who really have some variety. Every race in WoW should have what humans got a couple of years ago, at least 🫡
after playing warhammer online I always hated how Wow rogues had their combo points on the enemies and not tied to themselves and it took them like 8 years to change it in warlords (I think, I skipped warlords , but I know they had it by legion which is when I came back to WoW) and I tried out a Rogue on my gf's account in legion and I liked it so much that I came back to WoW and mained a rogue in Legion. Rogue is still one of my favorite classes and I like sub and assassination more than feral or windwalker. not really a fan of outlaw (I liked combat better when it wasn't so pirate themed). my rogue was originally a blood elf male and I ended up race changing him to a female maghar. I really loved Kaz the Shrieker in WoD and it inspired me to make a murderous psychopath looking laughing skull rogue. Plus not only will she look cool in the typical stealthy looking rogue style of cloaks and hoods and whatnot, but she will also look awesome in the more tribal armors.
Oooh, I remember the grave times of combo points being on yourself, not the enemy. I’ve always been SO into the rogue style in WoW, even back in Wrath, but I hated the gameplay so much. I also remember a talent that let you transfer points onto the next target and along came monk, just able to chi their way through armies of enemies, no problem 🤭

It looks even worse on all the races like Tauren, Draenei and Orc and so forth. I’m so glad, Goblin still have their OG outfits 😭💜

Agreed. Rogues have lost their flavor however they are AMAZING in PvP.

I fell like, compared to other classes, they still have quite the array of flavor abilities though!

After having fun with a Rogue in Classic, im going to level one in Retail for the first Time. And as always it`s going to be a cute little Undead
Wish you all the fun sneaking around! 😌
Merry christmas and Happy holidays 🌲🌲🌲🌲 and i had a rogue as well as a alt in wow much love from the Netherlands
I made my rogue as worgen. And while I love worgens, they just do it for me for rogue. I regret my decision every time I play him. 😭
Oh, the snout problem 🐺
Love how you pronounce "Monk". M O N C C
Wait, isn't that how it's pronounced?
