54:00 yes, sizing is extremely challenging, but there is absolutely no one size fits a variety solution.
What Liv did with the design curve on the backpack is similar to the concept I originally used in shaping clothing.
I've been tweaking my pattern for a jumpsuit/snowsuit in my own size to allow just enough ease in the underarm, crotch, elbow, and knees to allow FULL RANGE movement without bulk. There are also vertical and diagonal measurements that I calculate ...not just girth measurements.
I came up with my original design by shaping the pattern to allow ease where I needed it, but now I've been honing the design into something that is quantitative so that I can calculate the needed ease ratio.... so I will be able to convert that into various sizes.

    Liv is such an inspiration.
    I love your channel!
I'm planning on starting my own cottage business within the next year focusing on ultralight quilted infant and toddler snowsuits that fit under car seat regulations.
I've made several for my grandchilden so they don't have to be cold when they get in the car.
