    Young man, PLEASE, (yes I yelled), don't change your content. So what you are not organized. You live your life on the road. If they don't like it, its ok. Some people are not happy with themselves and want to project negative energy on others. Live your life for you and be at peace. Don't get wrapped up in (negative) comments. Thank you for sharing. I wish you many blessings in the New Year. Travel, explore, and be safe.

    Arizona native here. You made Indian fry crisps haha usually the bread is more doughy and pliable hence “bread.” But regardless your food always looks delicious and this meal looked yummy. Excited for your upcoming videos

    My bro, love your videos! You take people on a fun journey around the country and I appreciate the van cooking vibes as well as the amazing views. May I offer two thoughts? First, reusable bags! Bring your own bags! Avoid using plastic bags! I know you reuse them for trash but still... Second, when browning meat, avoid breaking it up at first, instead push it down so that more surface area touches the pan, and leave it alone for a few minutes to achieve maximum browning! Break it up once you have flipped it. Appreciate you.

    Fry bread is typically at least the ones I’ve had homemade is more of a donut consistency but still holds its shape I prefer mine little sweet my stepmom would add honey to the batter these look delicious as well love the crunch more of a tostada

    He made his version of BUÑUELOS!!!🎉 I was poor we used a tortilla instead of the traditional dough. Then fry it, topped with cinnamon sugar. The American me would put syrup on top of that. 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️

    Sup Ryan… been watching your channel for over a year now. I’m a full blood Navajo (Diné) & from around you stayed at. It’s crazy to see how close you are from me but was a lil excited to see my area. FYI… you dont really need a i’m permitted to stay on the reservation, just ask the locals & maybe trade it out to some native delicates.

    Ryan, it was EXCITING to see you try a Native American dish. We usually call them “Indian Tacos”. If I could recommend anything, I’d say you need a little more baking powder and use lard/vegetable oil at a HIGH temperature. It would be REALLY cool to have you come out to an Apache coming of age ceremony (Sunrise Dance) to experience all the food and culture. I would be willing to invite you to an upcoming ceremony since you are such an appreciator of food, so let me know! We invite camping! I recommend going through San Carlos, AZ on your next adventure. Always enjoy your videos!! Have a happy new year 🎉

    I can’t say I’ve ever had a crunchy fry bread , but super cool you tried making them! 😁 If you ever make them again, don’t cook them as long and they’ll be similar to a tortilla in that they’re pliable! Awesome video!

    Get a silpat or two, depending on the size you need. They’re heat proof and would provide sound dampening for what you need.

  • @maryhunt2316
    @maryhunt2316 4 місяці тому +1

    @ryantwomeyy suggest you get a silpat or other silicone type baking sheet mat to put on top of your stove between the iron grates and the glass top to keep it from rattling and then it won’t matter if your burner is super hot or cold, because the silicone is used in baking and is resistant to high temperatures❤️

    Awesome nod to the great Dine (Navajo) Nation Ryan! Love the inclusion. Totally agree that the topping is basically a salad and could be a little “more” in the flavor dept. I’m an Indigenous from Canada and I asked my sister - who’s an amazing frybread maker. She mentioned that it should be a little stickier, as opposed to a pizza dough texture. She also mentioned that it shouldn’t be kneaded as much - the final product should be golden brown, but also soft and nicely fluffy. This is just the version we enjoy, it may be crispy down south. Love the content man! Happy Holidays!

    maybe a silicon trivet instead of drawer liner to keep your stove top from rattling? silicon melts at a way higher temp than your stove can probably get to so you'd be able to throw it on there immediately.
